Bowdaar is the man. He does WAY more dmg than Corso and has MUCH more armor. I have him tanked out. Full tank stats and he is a BEAST (no pun intended) at lvl 31. I don't see me using anything else on my Scoundrel. PROTIPS FOR BOWDAAR: Turn off wookie toss, it is useless and only causes more aggro. Wookie Roar and Cleave need to be managed, If you are CCing, turn them off, if you are AOEing standard mobs, turn them on. INTERRUPT! Interrupt those snipes and grav rounds that are being aimed at Bowdaar. It will save his life again and again. After most fights he rarely dips below 75% on any fight and I only have to heal him when we are fighting Boss Mobs (yes BOSS mobs not gold star, the super gold star ones like rare spawns) With Bowdaar I soloed all the heroic 2 quests on Nar Shadaa and the Heroic 4 - Mandolorian Rage (although I did die twice) A little CC and some interrupts can go A LONG way.

Assuming the Hero Engine IS in fact an outdated bugged mess (I know there is no proof here but for the sake of this conversation lets say it is) Assuming it's broken, does anyone know how hard it is to fix/replace. I mean its not like a BW employee can just flip flop graphics engines during standard maintenance? right? It would take like a re write of the whole game or some craziness, right? I bought the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of the mid grade deluxe edition and it WAS THE SAME PRICE AS GAMESTOP With Digital Downloads the game made EVEN more. Last night I was on Nar Shadda on my first republic toon. I saw a datacron through a closed gate in a sewer area, I thought... I WILL GET THAT. I continued questing and a bit further in the zone I saw a strange pile of boxes/crates... I climbed them and then a "service elvator" popped up on my map. I knew I was on the right path. It took me about an hour of falling and nearly dying/ exploring to get to that elevator and then ride it down to my awaiting datacron. Out of the past week of playing it was the most fun and rewarding hour. Datacrons are fine. Once im at 50 I might youtube a few of them but ill try and find them all.

No. You "grind" by showing up and going afk, you still get loot. PVE requires you to actually kill stuff. PVE requires a grind. PVP is LITERALLY "you get loot for being there - win or lose" yeah same thing >.>

I do not see Dark/Light as Good/Evil. I have seen many Light side choices that were pretty horrible things to do and some Dark Side choices that were very nice. Like letting someone live u were sent to kill (as an empire player) you might get dark side points because it defies your superiors. Yes sometimes it is cut and dry Dark-Kill Kid vs Light-give medicine Overall I would say Dark is the Passionate one. Dark embraces all emotion. Dark defies authority(which is sometimes good). Light does as its told, never acts on feelings, lives for justice (which is sometimes misplaced evil) By the time one reaches 10,000 one way or the other you will see that you aren't "EVIL" or "GOOD" Anyone wanna chime in on it?

I will concede that you are correct. There have been MANY suggestions. Most of them are really poor like "Change the graphics engine" but there are currently and have been SOME very well thought out and nicely worded suggestions on how to improve the game... Those posts however, get rolled off the main page without more than 4 responses. I do not compare this game to WoW at release. I compare it to all 5 or so of the MMOs I have played at launch and it destroys them all. Although I will admit DCUO was nearly bug free... The rest of it sucked but it was very non-buggy, i'll give it that.

Last week, I put in a ticket at about 9pm server time that "I would like to beg for a name change on my character... ect ect" When I looged in after work the next morning, I had a blank name on my main and was able to rename it. Other than that, I was once stuck so bad that /stuck wouldn't work and it was on a space station so I couldn't quick travel and my fleet pass had six hours left on CD... Put in ticket, went to bed. woke up and checked it and my toon was on its ship. I have had a great experience with SWTOR cust. service. Sorry you have not.

Just like every other game ever made... It always makes me laugh. It is like going out for dinner and when your plate is empty you call the manager over and berate him because once you ate all your food there was no more food to eat. (NB4 stop comparing this to WoW) WoW, being the most successful MMO ever, is the same. Cataclysm was released and I was 85 within 4 days and had cleared all of the "end game content" within two weeks... Just like every content patch since 2.0. This last patch being the most insanely easy thing I have attempted since I bought the game 7 years ago. So here are my questions for the unimpressed kids: Would you rather have endgame content that was SO HARD that only 1 - 3% of the in game community and only the most hard core of the no-lifers could even attempt to kill a boss in the last flashpoint? (psst that means almost every single person on the forums would not even know what the last flashpoints look like) Or maybe you would prefer that Bioware pump out a new copy-cat flashpoint every six weeks jam packed with generic nonsense? Or perhaps you would like them to raise the level cap to 150 so it takes a few months to hit cap? Oh wait I know, You want PVP to mirror vanilla WoW so if you don't dedicate at least 40 hours a week to the game you will lose your BM title and all your pimp gear will be rendered unusable until you grind out the leader board again. (in case that actually sounds awesome, remember, there is ALWAYS someone that plays more than you do.) People seem to think that they are bored faster because the game is worse. I am a 27 Scrapper and I DESTROY in PVP I LOVE it. Especially Void Star & Alderaan. Scrappers are awful ball carriers but that just means you become the ball retriever. Just like in WoW. Sub Rogues were always the best at getting our flag back. I really hate it when I see L2P posts but this is one. Smugglers and Agents are the hardest classes to play well. You have a lot at your disposal you just have to figure out how to use it. Perhaps this class isn't for you, Mr. O.P.

Why do people rush to get their ship? Its not like you are going to go quest on Taris at 13. You would get destroyed. Just do all the quests. I got my ship at 18 and dinged 19 off space missions then went to taris. Its better that way.

No amount of crazy cool speeder pixels is worth the STUPID amount of money you people spent on the top tier game. Is the speeder faster than the standard one I have? no Do you get better gear than I do? no Do you get ANYTHING tangible IRL? no Do you get ANYTHING useful in-game? no It would be one thing if deluxe gave you the free cool speeder or if the auth. key gave you FREE companion mods but to make you pay more to get the opportunity to pay more is mind numbing. It would be like going to a fancy restaurant and seeing the menu and the waiter saying "hey if you give me $200 I will give you an upgraded menu with WAY more expensive food that is basically the exact same food but its arranged differently on the plate..." And yet it seems some of you would line up for such an opportunity. TL;DR Paying tons more IRL money to get the ability to spend tons more pixel money is really terrible logic. But hey, grats on that floating car thing that does nothing more than my cheap one does. You guys know a million credits costs like 10 dollars to buy right?
