  1. Crappy situation, but group leaders should still maintain 100% control over their group. Just put bad leaders on ignore and dont play with them anymore, and you'll filter them out quickly. People like that, and guilds like that, get bad reps quickly then they're easy to avoid in the future. Implementing a garbage system where players lose control over who they can play with is a terrible, terrible solution.
  2. Because it's fiction. In the real world, a sith empire would never exist and never survive. Once you reach a certain threshold of corruption and plotting and power mongering, the society collapses. It's always happened throughout human history. When no one respects anything or believes in anything but themselves, you can't HAVE a society. The "rule of two" concept was ideal for the sith because they progressively became stronger and had no one to squabble with, but this "sith empire" idea is doomed to failure. Always has been, always will be. Warrior-societies that are already so elitist that they outright kill anyone not up to their standards would lose numbers faster than they could fill them if they also slaughtered each other routinely to take their positions and power. It just doesn't work. Even at the most basic, mathematical level, it's flawed and doomed to failure. In ALL forms of fiction... Books, TV, Movies, Games, etc, the only culture/race/whatever i've ever seen that could realistically survive constant in-fighting would be the Orks from Warhammer 40k and that's because they follow a few specific sets of rules. One being they multiple extremely quickly, don't rely on breeding with each other or have lengthy gestation periods, and they have an innate "sense" of who the biggest and strongest ork around them is and instinctively follow and obey it. They only fight orks of the same strength, they always obey stronger ones. And furthermore they only fight one another when they have nothing else to fight. If a non-ork army comes around, they drop their infighting, swarm together like a plague, and crush the enemy.
  3. I leveled as a Sorcerer, and am now level 50. I used Khem Val almost exclusively as my leveling companion until I got Xalek, which was around 45 or so. I was in a hurry to get my Darth title, so I sort of "skipped ahead" and was able to solo all the missions, and the final level 50 boss twice when I was only level 46 by using Xalek as my tank companion. If you keep your companion in good gear, they are amazing tanks. I also went back and did some of the heroic missions on Correlia, which are level 47 heroics, and xalek could tank 3 elites at a time with about as little healing as a player tank would've needed. They are good, you just have to keep them in good gear.
  4. Its pretty stupid there is only green, blue, and red until 50, then seems like EVERY SINGLE level 50 saber is purple. They really screwed this up badly.
  5. From what i've seen and experienced, the Dark Council is the highest ranking members of the empire, with absolute authority and power second only to the Emperor himself. Now that i'm a Darth, and a member of the Dark Council, does that mean I outrank Darth Malgus? He is "leader of the expeditionary fleet" but he is not a member of the dark council as far as I have seen or heard. So is he my subordinate now?
  6. I liked Nar Shadaa myself. I did the complete planet for the third time now in about an hour, was very fast and easy. The quest objectives are on the opposite ends of the little "zones" than the quest hub, yeah, but the route between hub and objective are filled with bonus quests. Maybe i'm just biased because i've done it multiple times and know how to do the planet properly, but I actually love Nar Shadaa's design. I also love how "big" and citylike they made the planet. Despite the small playable areas, they cast the illusion of a giant, thriving cityplanet very well.
  7. Anyone know where to find these? http://www.torhead.com/search/anointed%20nanosilk They exist, because they're listed in the set. The boots came from completing the corellian planetary quests, the lower robes came from completing my level 50 class quest, the helm and gloves came from i believe heroic missions on correlia. I cannot find the vestments anywhere... I've done all the class quests in the game obviously, i've done every quest on correlia, but I have never come across the chest piece. I also checked the light armor, and correlian commendation equipment vendor and also failed to find them. Anyone have any clue where they come from? Considering the Vestments are BOP, I know they aren't some random world drop. Anyone seen them? Anyone have any ideas?
  8. All of the customization vendors have apparently been removed from the game, I went to quite a few cantinas looking for them but they are gone. So I ask, how, at this point, do you get new skins/looks for your companions? I am very interested in modifying Jaessa. She didn't come with any like your starter companion and as I said, all vendors have been removed. So now what?
  9. I have been playing and leveling my sith warrior religiously since the first day of early release and for the past 2 days i've had to wait in ridiculously long queues to get in and play again. I don't understand why all these new people coming in on new invite waves are flocking to a handful of FULL servers instead of going to low pop ones, which there are plenty of, but it's happening and making it unplayable. I don't have TIME to wait an hour every time I want to play my character. I don't have any ties to the server, I don't care about the server name, I just want my character off of it and onto a low pop one so I can actually PLAY the game again. That isn't asking a whole lot.
  10. Pretty disgusted myself. I got my sith jug to level 30 and now i'm sitting in a queue. They must have invited wayyyyy too many people today. They need to bring up more servers like now. I just don't understand how some of these servers get these huge queues. Why would new people just getting in today not roll on low pop servers, why goto full ones?
  11. Yeah... I got in on day one... Been enjoying playing the game without problem or interruption until tonight. I played most of the day, got off for dinner, came back to a 25 minute queue of over 300 people. ***? Some of the servers have lower populations, why is MINE, the one I have a level 30 character on already, one of the handful with a queue? This is ridiculous.
