CHeck the thread on the PST forums for the DPS hit that snipers are going to be taking. The best sniper in PVP will be the one who changed to one of the viable classes.

You should probably go check out the Test server forums about how much of a DPS hit snipers are taking with the 1.2 patch.

I'd settle with longer range, because we dont actually have longer range, 40 or 45 for ambush and take down. And I'd be ok with just making the shield invisible with the little corner posts only visible. So long as it isnt a big red alarm light. Heh. My kids play CoD. My current PVP% is 12.17?...12.xx for sure. I am in full Champion with a BM earpiece and implant. No other BM gear.

It goes by the currently numerical value of your Valor.... ie.....if I am Lvl 20 Valor, and my numerical valor is 25666 of 26000....and there is a Lvl 75 valor, with a current numerical value of 25660 of 1,2000,000..... I am going to be the ops leader.

I dont forsee any quick fixes Why you ask.... Because Bioware made the crudest and simplest mistake that anybody since Counterstrike has known not to do. They depend on information from the client. Making it very hard to detect server side and should never be allowed in a game that involves PVP or MMO....of course....BW never made either of those before, so they didnt know, and all they got to do to fix it....is completely rewrite their code.

let's see....legs shot....2 second root....1 min cooldown Flashbang...8 second stun, so long as not damaged, 3 or 4 min cooldown Debilitate...melee stun for 5 second...melee Pulse...knockback...4 minute cooldown Did I mention that using any two of those gives a full reserve bar to the target? My CC as a sniper does more to help the other team than hinder.

-1 Dont mourn my leaving, and you cant have my stuff. This game doesnt have potential, because of a few reasons. EA is the biggest one BW's lack of experience in making anything PVP BW's lack of experience in making a MMO and feeling that reskinning WoW with a Starwars skin and voice acting would be enough. To me, there are fundemental design decisions that I am not willing to wait to see if they feel like fixing or not. I tend to think they wont, because we begged and pleaded during developement to include them and we were blantantly ignored and/or derided. BW sowed their seeds....now is their reaping. My only regret is that this will insure nobody else can make a Starwars MMO for another decade.

What two things define a sniper....... To me... Camoflauge....snipers have no stealth at all...what we do have is a glaring red shield that says come **** me up the ***. Long range, one shot kills......we have neither the longest range or the single highest DPS hit. Nothing at all about the sniper class....says...you know...sniper.....

well...I mean ...you know....it isnt like they took what scrubs were left over from firing everybody at mythic and importing them into SWTOR to develope the PVP.... No reason at all this game should turn out the same or worse.

I thought SNiper was the least played class.
