  1. I guess I can understand your point.... personally I have the pre-order crystal and hate the whole colour inside a colour lightsaber thing, so don't really see the point of it. I mean it was a nice incentive, but there only really there to show off to be honest.
  2. Woop, free month, 1.2 is going pretty good, looking forward to getting back home to play it on sunday!
  3. Did you miss the Warzone as well as the rest of the content? Yeah I can understand you may be disapointed about the ranked warzones, but their still giving you alot of new stuff in this patch. Demanding a months free subcription seems a little over-kill to be perfectly honest.
  4. I'd suggest either grouping up with other players for missions (which grants bonus exp) or do some of the more mmo parts of the game available, like pvp, flashpoints etc. Personally found a problem being over-leveled in this game to be honest. Was level 25 when I left Taris (rep)...
  5. It's good to hear you back on a podcast Musco!
  6. Yeah... but all zones are instanced, so you basically have the same problem as TOR in that worlds feel lifeless and barren. I think it's a little misleading to suggest CO or STO have the same open world feel that games like EVE have.
  7. The problem as I see it, is two things. 1. community being divided via sharding of planets. 2. Apart from heroics, no obvious incentives for grouping. Perhaps if BioWare made the bonus exp while partying thing a little more obvious to players, then people might have a better understanding of the benefits of grouping. There just isn't enough incentive for grouping or anything community based. Even RP seems restricted to the Cantina on RP servers. What I struggle to understanding with the planet sharding, is they built these massive planets. For example Belsavis. Which are completely barren with only a 100 or so people on them, due to their sheer size.... it just seems pointless.
  8. Just look at his name, that kinda gives a hint
  9. Wow. I'm speechless at what people post on these forums nowadays.
  10. I'm not disagreeing with you, just saying sharding is another aspect that is killing any sense of a living breathing world. And in all fairness on a heavy server, finding people to group for heroics, flashpoints etc is impossible. What's worse is I met one person in my whole way up to 50 that actually wanted to group for general quests (as in quests you can do solo). From my experience most people I've met seem to be focused on playing this game singleplayer and only do group content when necessary. BioWare should really point out to the community the benefits of grouping, i.e. higher exp etc, or create some more positive to actually grouping in this game.
  11. Actually, it isn't just the server population, but also the fact planets are sharded, which makes planets seem empty and barren.
  12. Yeah, my level 50's wearing orange gear he got on tatooine, and social gear from the social I vendor on Drommund Kaas. (As that was the only place I could find pants for him). Kind of sucks, that all gear post tatooine, is rubbish.
  13. I have given up on warzones and PvP, high fps, as well as playing a healer, where you get target marked = 20 minutes of watching your slow motion slideshow of death again and again.
  14. I thought it tended to be people around that age, or teenagers that liked to use that word all the time because it's 'cool' and 'hip'?! Maybe I'm just getting old.
  15. I'm struggling to see how you interpreted my post as anything but calm? My post was observational at best. Also I rarely play this game much, and am outside a lot, as I'm a big fan of playing basketball! But thanks for your concern! xxx
  16. Some quests, like Class Story can't be dropped (For very good reason). But it is pretty strange, that a few quests that aren't particularly important are undropable.
  17. Jump on someone else's ship, and they can drop you off.
  18. I wouldn't say SWTOR has 'failed' yet. Your basing your whole argument on the assumption that everyones leaving. From what I've seen, there's a lot of people enjoying the game. In fact my server just seems to be getting bigger at the moment.
  19. Because apparently this guys opinions are facts.
  20. I don't care about maintenance times, if I did, I wouldn't have joined a US server. I'm just bored of hearing anti-European hate on these forums.
  21. I can deal with the maintenance periods, it's all the anti-european hate posts, I have a problem with.
  22. That's why I said those of 'European Origin'. Learn to read.
  23. Wow a lot of racism against those of European origin. Pretty disappointed with this community.
  24. I don't even play PvP any more in this game, as it is completely unplayable.
