Watch either of the recorded videos. They're his stream so it's not fancy editing to make him look good like most pvp videos are. He knows his class, he knows his spec, he knows his role and he's a good player to top it off.
Gunnery, you just spam grav rounds, full auto when it comes up and demo when you hit 5 stacks of gravity vortex.

The sawbones heal isn't used in pvp. The sage channeled heal can be used on themselves.
Hammershot is rarely used in PvP to heal people. You're better off putting damage on an enemy healer between your heals than to try and hammershot them and using it on yourself isn't going to do a whole lot either, would be nice for topping that 10% hp off but if you're triage healing, then you're fine so long as you aren't taking a lot of damage.

Probably, but my observations is because of Ion reseting HIB and endlessly spamming it, you do more damage, especially in PvP. I get wrecked by powertechs in pvp that are AS. They have good, sustainable damage and then they burst you with railshot/HIB and assault plastique. It's fairly sustainable in pve too.
I know a good guardian will do buttloads of damage in PvE. I play commando but my guilds dps guardian will match me on the EV duel fight. We're the two highest DPS so we take out the marauders (or whichever is the high HP guys) and kill them at the same time (though I'd kill faster if I could use full auto). You're going to be doing a ton of button pressing and keybinding to play guardian effectively. Troopers are quite a bit easier to maintain a DPS rotation on.

Why can both the other healer classes use all their abilities on themselves while we can't? Kinda hard to build up stacks when running back after deaths, etc.
Sawbones is a 3 second channel and heals for less than hammershot and sages channeled heal is supposed to be better.

They'd be about this same if you play assault specialist.

You can heal with the blaster rifle but you won't get one with alacrity or be able to help your group out with damage if healing is easy (on trash).

Unless they rewrite some of the stuff in chapter 3, I don't think they'll let you have her. She is a well writen likeable character for a reason later on, so just wait and see why they did it.

Stockstrike, the GCD doesn't trigger until your stockstrike hits.
Ion Pulse, You move your gun back before firing it, same problem, look above.
HIB, You move your gun back before firing it, same problem, GCD doesn't start until you fire it.
It also prevents you from using abilties after another, its weird and stupid.
Change Stock strike into "Vibro Bayonet" to an animation that you quickly thrust a bayonet into the target.
Ion Pulse just quickly shoots a pulse of lightning at the target, no gun drawbacks. (make the animation sound better too.)
HIB, make it a quick fire from under your gun, no ability delay.
Mortar Volley, Start Firing as soon as you click the ground.
This is a trooper vs bounty hunter issue. Bioware didn't communicate between empire and republic dev teams apparently so we're not the only class with these kinds of ****** imbalances.

They have to stand still to do that, you know? Be less bad and use your interupt and then smile to yourself as they stand there dumbfounded for 4 seconds and then stun them and then interupt them again. If you listen closely after doing this, you'll hear their cries in the distance.

If full auto decides to channel without doing damage, just use charged bolts or grav rounds while it's doing it. It'll make it so you can cast full auto and the grav round will go off despite the cast bar still displaying full auto.
it's irritating that it's bugged and hasn't been fixed but nothing you can do.

Now i know as a commando we are encuraged to use assult cannons, but in the start of the class series on ord mantell we use assult rifle and was just wondering if can still continue to do that?
I know there is a skill or two that i have seen so far (only level 14) that requires assult cannon however i would pref to use rifle. I know its not something gamebreaking i just find the cannon bulky, and annoying!
No. If you want to do any meaninful damage, you have to use your asssault cannon. Play a vanguard if you want to use the rifle, they do beastly damage if you play assault specialist because HIB is 90% armour pen and resets when you use ion something or other (your main spam ability). Plus, you can leap and pull.

Anything that is a 'weapon damage' ability. Kinetic and Elemental do not proc it.

You should be keeping above 7 ammo to maintain maxiumum damage output which means, without 4 piece PvE set, you'll be hammershotting a lot.
Obviously you don't keep above 7 if there's 1 target and dumping to 0 ammo will kill it quicker.

Doubt that's the problem. a couple percent worth of crit isn't going to make that large of an impact on cell charger.

Lowering aim will lower your crit. You never want to lose aim on a piece of gear unless you're gaining a buttload of something else since aim gives everything.
But other than that, stats don't affect ammo regen. Stay in the 4th tier as much as possible with liberal use of hammershot to keep from dropping to 7 ammo and you'll be fine.

Have you changed your rotation at all? Plasma Grenade is incredibly inefficient on mana and so is explosive round. ER should never be used once you're past level 20 and Plasma only if you make it cost 0 ammo, or if you hit 3+ targets.

The shield at level 50 stops about 2k damage. With my Sith Sorc, I've had an elite break it in 1 hit. Once you've cast it on someone, you need to wait 20 seconds before you can cast it on them again.
2k HP every 20 seconds is not that much.
So yeah.
Although I would quite like an interrupt that isn't a 60sec CD stun, becuase that would seem to be useful soloing and in instances, and an in-combat res, just so we can do that as well as the other healers.
Oh no, you mean your sprint and your shield have the same cooldown and if your shield breaks, you can just run away and it'll be up again by the time they catch up? Whoops, I used my shield, they ignored me till it fell off and then killed me because it's high cooldown and can't be placed on everybody for essentially free.

Just need to get yourself a white colour crystal and you have there 1 grade A disturbing image...
Colour crystal doesn't change the colour of your cannon's glow, it only changes the colour of 'weapon damage' abilities (HIB, FA, HS). Your cell choice changes what colour your weapon is.
Plasma is orange.
AP is green.
Support is green.

If you put alacrity in your gear, you'll dump your ammo a lot faster and it won't get as much regen time per attack as if you didn't have it.
If you dump all your crit, cell charger won't proc as often.
If you forget to enable AP Cell, then cell charger won't proc at all.

Uh...this. One CC per class is plenty. 1 guy shouldn't be able to CC an entire mob.
Considering most games have a class whose job is to CC everything.......

You must have a bad rotation if you can't spend it quickly enough. Even with 35 (50% on grav round) chance to crit, free HIB, I can run myself out of ammo without a couple hammershots thrown in at key points in the rotation.
