  1. Does anyone know if this is a crafted item or a world drop? Are there any similar cannons? Thanks.
  2. If you leave Karrels alive, do you ever see him again? Also, you get a a letter later concerning the confirmation of his death. His son that survived was rescued by bounty hunters. Does anyone remember the son's name(s)? I know the surviving son was mentioned in the missive, but I foolishly deleted it.
  3. Spending two or three hours looking for a group in vanilla WoW wasn't fun and it's not any more fun in this game.
  4. You can get to social rank 5 in a weekend speed running Esseles/Black Talon with four people. It's honestly not that bad. I've done it on two characters now.
  5. I have a Razer Naga mouse. What does that make me?
  6. They have over 1.7 million active subscriptions in the U.S./Europe. They haven't announced numbers for the other regions where they just launched.
  7. I was hooked on the game after running the first Flashpoint. I think it would be prudent to let trial players get that far as well. To be blunt, the opening quests are the same boring slog that you get with every other MMO.
  8. The Collector's Edition is available in physical form only. If you manage to get one, you just enter the code under your account information and it upgrades your game.
  9. Base chance of 5% Additional 5% at max affection Crew skill bonuses add additional percentage (1-5%)
  10. I don't understand why people are comparing TOR at launch to WoW in it's current state. If you compare to two at launch, TOR comes out on top, no contest.
  11. Give away the razor to sell the blades.
  12. Tera looks great, but at it's heart, it's a button mashing action game with no story or depth. It's safe to assume that's why the teentards in this thread are raving about it.
  13. I play the game on ultra settings (sans shadows) on my 2 year old, 800 dollar Gateway gaming laptop. The only performance drop is in huge world pvp environments, where everyone lags no matter what rig you're using. I can't imagine dropping almost 2 grand on a computer so you can play one game at max settings.
  14. You can turn your legacy name off, making it annon-issue.
  15. That's the Omenbringer set, most of which are rare world drops. The chest and legs are quest rewards. The dropped pieces can be sold on the trade network, so I'd check there. Expect to pay several hundred thousand credits for the bracers and belt (unless you're really lucky). http://www.torhead.com/search/omenbringer
  16. Bioware can't fix the fact that people have work and school. Try logging on at prime time instead of early in the morning.
  17. Bladestorm Belt and Bracers for Sith. Battleborn Belt and Bracers for Jedi. Did you even look?
  18. There are huge changes coming to all the crafting professions in patch 1.2. Then again, power leveling a craft at level 50 is pretty trivial anyway. I think Cybertech is the skill to keep, especially with all the new social gear on the way, as well as future patches that unlock the new assassin droid companion.
  19. I agree. What they should do is give each class multiple specs and different choices in the skills they have. Perhaps, once you reach a certain point in the game, you could pick from two different class paths that advance your character in different ways, or "advanced classes," if you will. After that they could give us the option of specializing our characters in several different ways. Other games did this by using something called "skill trees." If each class had several of those, we could pick skills to define our character. Try posting this in the suggestions forum. Maybe they'll add these features in 2.0.
  20. All this information is found in the stickied guide at the top of the page.
  21. They were designed for tank companions. Lightsabers are the weapon of choice for Force users.
