  1. Ok man not gonna argue or insult you, your welcome to your opinion. I never claimed to be an authority on anything, but as i do have a 50 sentinel, and vanguard, and assasin i will just stick to my vanguard and sin would beat my sentinel 9/10 times on my 27 sage i already am seeing how i could do the same. That said not alot of combat sentinels in the game, most are watchman which have no chance against a sage as far as i can tell if im wrong do let me know. As for combat yeah that spec is pretty rough for sages, lots of roots im not going to argue with you and say that you dont know how to play a sage, since im assuming by the tone of your post you have a 50 sage and you pointed out i dont, but ill simply say that if your not using yoru knockback or stun against master strike, against a combat sentinel then your not playing up to your classes potential. Thats all. Also after you use your knock back if you take half a step forward he cant leap to you due to min range. Just a side note. Many many other things just in the little rant you went on that your doing wrong but those are the most obvious imo. Explain to me how a watchmen sentinel doesnt get crushed by a full cc speced sage, seeing as watchman is by far the most played tree of sentinels atm. I can play this game too.
  2. I have no idea what class your playing because i dont think you said, also who elses point of view do you want me to speak from. I have 3 50s, there all battle master, sentinel is the easyiest for me to deal with. Yes from my point of view, is your point that i need to sit here and explain how every single class in the game should deal with a sentinel i really dont think so. Even on my low level sage its really just not that hard he pops cooldowns i use my stun/instant cc/knockback/snare and stay in the 10 meter magic zone. Plain and simple its just not that complicated, he pops these "over powered defensive cooldowns" he gets a cc of some kind. On my lowbie scoundrel same thing he starts poppin cooldowns in invis, wait, and procede to rip his arms and legs of. Now granted my scoundrel is only 43 and my sage is only 27, but ive played enough to know its just really not that hard. Call it what you want but its how i see things. Aside from maybe Commandos, only maybe, every other class that i have seen/played has more than enough tools to deal with this and compete with sentinels, and beat them.
  3. Seriously i have a 50 vanguard, Sentinel, and Assasin. Theres no way my sentinel beats either of my other 2 50s 1v1 period end of story. Everyone complains about all these defensive cooldowns that sentinels have which are really nice, watchman sentinel which is by far the most common played has 1 leap, thats it just 1 stun him snare him light him on fire, when hes at 40 percent stun him, burst him. Thats it folks nothing else to see here its just that simple. I have 2 stuns on my vanguard even if he survive i and uses guarded by the force i just stun him again keep him snared never move out of the magic 10 meter zone and hes completey screwed. 1 stun and guarded by the force is trash, done and overwith. Against my assasin its the same game he starts poppin cooldowns i either invis till there gone, stun him twice until there over, snare him and sprint, etc etc etc my sentinel is fun to play now, and it was fun to play before 1.2 but i really dont understand where all this hate is coming from its really just not that hard to counter them they have no stun at all, they can channel force stasis or use awe but either one of those completly locks out there damage. I mean were talking about a class that has no stun, and if caught in a stun without his defensive cooldowns is screwed, doesnt seem that complicated to me. Watch the animations know whats happening and you can have success.
  4. This isnt a class balancing thread, classes are balanced as good as the person playing them in most cases imo. That said, what happened with this last patch and who is making the decisions for pvp in biowareland becasue this is god awful. You have set up a system where you get between 0-20 commendations for a loss, fine i guess i think thats a little low considering gear cost 500-1500 for BM and the fact that you can actually earn nothing i think is a tad bit ridic. but w/e i can deal with that BUT you also have it set up so people can leave the WZ with no penalty. You have literally set up a system that encourages people to quit, thats exactly what it does. If anyone sees another way this is supposed to work please let me know i dont wanna get flamed i just really curious, because i have to tell you it really really really seems like bioware just wants the losing team to leave and be done with it. Secondly why the expertise damage buff, first off pvp is supposed to be about skill vs skill not gear vs skill that said im not a huge fan of the expertise system to begin with. However if your going to run this system your goal i would think is to bring the gap from entry pvp gear and high end pvp gear closer together so that players with superior skill can have a chance. so basically giving and edge to the people in the top tier stuff but nothing crazy. As of 1.2 im pretty sure this is the biggest gap yet. And i think its probaly harder than its ever been to aquire new gear with system mentioned above. Good idea to make champion gear a starter set and available to all 50s for coin, just now champion gear is much much further behind BM gear because of the expertise buff. At the end of the day pvp is supposed to be fun, i wanted ranked warzones i really did but i can live with them not being here, but before 1.2 pvp was more fun imo this new system is more of a grind, more of a gear disparity, and encourages quitting more than ever before. Im sure this is not intentional and will be fixed hopefully sooner rather than later.

  12. In less that 3 months, because my server populations have litteraly gone to virtually nothing, this is horrible. I feel like im on the titantic. So many horrible decision from BW/EA I am really afraid that this game is beyond recovery. It makes me sad because i love this game. I have rerolled again on The Fatman which has a healthy population. Me and my buddys got our lowbies going and my friend said somthing that really woke me up. This is 2012 i shouldnt have to reroll 3 times because your game is so badly managed, your communication is so bad, customer service is so lacking, that you cant even maintain a reasonable population on your servers. Thats not my problem, thats not our problem, and we shouldnt have to pay for it. Im out. Peace.
  13. In anyone having an issue with there stuns just not doing anything since last patch, not increasing resolve, not stunning the target just not doing anything. I still see the animations going off, but nothing happens. Im running fraps and i will try to catch it on video doesnt happen all the time maybe a couple times a day. Im sure im probably just missing somthing. Thanks
  14. Maybe theres already a thread about this if so a link would be great. Thats said does off hand not scale at all with STR? If it doesnt it this a bug or working as intended? Thanks
