I think, this system is what they've designed to keep us busy between Chapters. The next Chapter is Jan, so they've given us a solo grind to do until then. At which point they'll add a few more companions, prolonging the grind until the next Chapter. Then rinse and repeat until they give up on the game.

Tacticals are badly balanced, harder than HM FPs at the moment if you have low levels with you. As for everything needing groups.. all the H2 content is easy to solo, you don't need groups for that.

I expect them to leave her until last, given she's much harder to deal with than the rest. I also think they'll probably fail miserably and just default her to DS for all non-SW characters.

Planetary Heroics are now weekly grind content for level 65 characters, they made them easy so people wouldn't complain about having to do them over and over again. The new dailies essentially. BioWare don't expect you to do them for leveling.

Combat Still Too Difficult, Suggestions Inside

The sarcasm is strong in this one... -
Choices matter..........but they really don't.

Yes, there is the odd line of companion dialogue which is different because of your choices. You can tell which choices matter after the fact as the Influence confirmation message is accompanied by "XX will remember this decision". But, at least in what we've had so far, it doesn't actually change what they do or where they do. Koth is still there for you whenever you need him. This to me, feels like the Quinn situation all over again. BioWare have finally relented and let us kill off companions, but only companions that are unlikely to have any future value. So, if you wanted to kill Koth for example, you won't ever get that option until BioWare decide to write him out of the story. At that point, they will either kill him themselves, or give you a choice, where if he dies, he's gone and if he lives, he never has any more story dialogue. The choices BioWare talked about are just illusions, none of them are meaningful and I never really thought they would be, but they made such a huge noise about the story in KOTFE. -

Influence with companions goes up regardless of what you decide as well, it just slightly varies the amount. I've not come across any choices that matter. -
When do we get old comps like Nadia Grell back?
darkov replied to Moriendor's topic in General Discussion
You get them after KOTFE from the terminal in the HQ, but the terminal is broken -

I would expect live/die to be options they give to players. How involved companions are going to be going forward remains to be seen, but it is likely only new companions are going to have continued involvement in the story. The only companion I think has a really strong chance of not coming back is Jaesa, because of her dark/light mechanic. -
Play the one you enjoy playing. It might be a tired line to say, but in my opinion, I really hate the energy building mechanic of the JK/SW, so whilst I played them for the story up to 50, I'm probably never going to do anything else with them, because they are painful to play. On the other hand, I have a Shadow, a Sage, a Sorcerer and an Assassin, all at 55+, because I really like how they play (and happen to enjoy the stories too). Personally my main is a Shadow and my most played alt is an Assassin.

The Knight story is just your typical hero arc, nothing special about it beyond some of the over the top rubbish it gets up to. Least favourite story by far, because it is completely out of whack with all of the other stories.

Lana won't send a letter. You have only flirted with her. Her romance actually starts in KOTFE. Wondering whether I should send in a ticket about my romance with Nadia not being recognised

You can (when it is fixed), use the terminal after Chapter 9 to summon the old companions back. When (if) Nadia returns through the story remains to be seen, but I doubt it will be any time soon. -
I didn't get one from Nadia I feel cheated now, knowing that I should've!

Do you get stabbed if you use his power in that fight? I used his power the first time it was offered (when he said Lana would die), but not after that and got stabbed in the fight. Afterwards Arcann noted that his father seemed weaker than before as well. I'm not sure what to do with my next character who is a Trooper. Tempted to use it, but don't want him to take control of me.

Was very disappointed that my character (Shadow), was thrown around so much. They could have done something more interesting there, a dodge or deflection of some kind that each class could be capable of doing. I also think the relative power is messed up from one scene to the next. At the start Lana took forever to barely open the blast doors in the prison, but Vaylin comes along and rips it to pieces easily. Previously our character (force users), have ripped much bigger blast doors to pieces as well. But then later on Lana's force powers seem to increase a lot as she starts showing off lightning and saber skills.

Tactical flashpoint harder?
darkov replied to Darth_Crisis's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Tacticals are all over the place, they clearly didn't do any kind of a balance pass on them. Expect they will slowly be fixing these over the next ten patches. If you're 65, it isn't a big deal, but lower characters seem to be struggling a lot at random points throughout the Tactical Flashpoints. -
Bioware?? Why didn't you listen in the beta??
darkov replied to MajikMyst's topic in General Discussion
Why isn't this 20 Warzones or 20 Flashpoints or 20 {Dailies or something} -
The patch better fix this.

I actually assumed the Eternal Fleet was a legacy of the Star Forge and the Infinite Empire. It's been 30,000 years since the Empire fell, the fleet could have the same self-producing, self-repairing, technology of the Star Forge and other Infinite Empire works, which led it to be called the Eternal Fleet.

***? You've made a point of having a voice for the player character then take it away? Not impressed.

Cutscenes are baked too, changing the weapon on them and they still use their original in the cutscenes.
