    What about the daily? It makes sense that they increase the rewards as the amount of games that eneds to be played for War Hero gear is obscene.
  2. Also, take this type of posts with a grain of salt. Honestly, unless a person says "I have this card and I get consistend 45-60 FPS in WZs and 25-35 in Ilum DURING Zerg vs ZERG" don't take these seriously at all...
  3. I have this exact same card. Well mine is Sapphire 5850 1 GB. I get 25-30 in WZs and 6-9 in Ilum. Anywhere else is fine...
  4. I might give this Ramdisk a try but I have a question. Does it also increase your FPS in Ilum zerg vs zerg battles? Like 60 vs 60, etc? Other than this I dont have FPS issues mostl of ths time.
  5. I think most people are forgetting one important fact that is the Operative is worse then any other class when it comes to specilization. What I mean by that is when it comes to healing, OP is worse then a Sorc/Sage, when it comes to AoE Damage they are worse than many other classes. Most people expected this and knew that OP would be a high burst, hit'n run type of class. However, that is all changed when the nerf bat hit. My main is a Champion geared Marauder and I have never lost a fair 1 vs 1 fight against an OP/Scoundrel even with double opener. I also have a 50 Operative who just recently hit 50 and in a mix of Cent/Tioenese gear. The way the class plays is just way too predictable. There aren't variety of CDs, like other classes or any utility skills for emergencies. On my Marauder I have access to 4-5 different skills that I can use at any given time in no particular order to beat pretty much any class 1 vs 1. With an Operative there are so few options available. Also, these "beast" operatives that people are refrring are just going above and beyond to make this class viable. I mean, how ridiculous is that when one of these guys pretty much integrates Flashbang, cover/bomb into their routine. an OP has no business using cover and it is not the way the class is intended to be played. Using Cover mechanic as a gap-closer? This is not a viable the-way-it-is-intended type of gameplay. Sure these guys make the class work and make it look good by gong to extremes, however, like many other people said, they will be much better of playing any other class...
  6. I am sorry but this is not the case. There are plenty of BMs on my server that wear very little BM pieces, to not get DRs on stats by wearing full PvE Gear. I have talked to a few and they confirm that wearing mostly Rakata/Columni gear is far superior to wearing full BM for PvP which is absurd.
  7. Unfortunately, this isthe truth. A person in Full Rakata gear is more powerful, in PvP sense, then a person in Full BM Gear. BW needs to increase the diminishing return on expertise to start around 20%.
  8. I am running a Optoma HD33 #D Projector with 155 inch screen in my basement. I mostly play PS3 on it and watch some 3D movies. It is truely a great sight to behold and really the only way to enjoy 3D at your home. However, the lack of 3D games and movies is a bit bothersome.
  9. I'd be interested to see a video AFTER the surge nerf. It is kind of pointless to have a video showing 5.5k crits when you can no longer do such a thing. Btw, what was your surge per and post? Isuspect pre around 95ish and post around 78ish? Can you also elobrate how has your dmg on HS and BS changed by the surge nerf?
  10. I would like to know if anybody else noticed this. I am in full Champion gear and it seems like even with 0 Expertise, wearing close to full columni gear with Rakata Implants etc. seems to increase my DMG by quite a lot then just wearing full champion gear. Also, there is so much more endurance that is on the PvE gear, which I have no idea why since Endurance should be primarily a PvP stat... Some people argue that not wearing expertise is worse since you do more dmg against players as well as receive less. However, by going strictly PvE route my dmg against equally geared Champ Marauders on my server is significantly more and I have much more hit points than them. I feel like BW should put more Endurance on PvP gear as well as increasing the effectiveness of Expertise. Something like 20% expertise in full BM gear should be the cap instead of 13%.
  11. Eh to be honest 250k - 300k is more the norm for any warzone. He was only able to dish out that much damage because the other team had many healers that keep healing. Think about it. On average, with no heals, my fights lasts maybe 7-10 seconds. Now imagine the same fights lasting 30-45 seconds because your target is keep getting healed. He is able to spend the majority of time being in WZ DPSing the same targets. The total amount of damage done has nothing to do with him being a ****wtfpwnzor Marauder but rather him being able to keep DPSing for a longer period of time due to other team having many healers. Also, my post is not an attack on OPs skillz but rather an explanation as to why he has done so much dmg...
  12. Why should it change? Winning and losing are outcomes that result in people taking place and participating in WZs. I very much encourage rewarding "participation" rather than "winning-losing". People shouldn't need extra incentives to Win. Winning IS the reward...
  13. honestly, I don't see why you are trying to force people to play the way YOU want them to play in WZs. I encourage this change and would ilke to see it happening. It caters to both crowds. Thos who would like to complete objectives can do so as well as those who just would like a good fight, you know player vs. player and not player vs. environment. If both playstyles are equally rewarded, I don't see the problem... I agree with your second point about deserter debuff. I fI want to leave, I should be able to leave and If I feel like rejoining again 2 minutes later I should be able to. Not EVERYONE who leaves a WZ do so because they don't want to be involved in a failed WZ...

  15. On the contrary, it "is" ALL about gear disparity. I play Cent/Champ geared Marauder and there is no way in hell an equally geared Scoundrel/IA can kill me. None...
  16. 6 from saving 1000/1000 and buying one before 50 6 from 2 weeklies 2 from dailies 14 I believe which gives you enough commendations to almost fully gear yourself with cent gear. I may be wrong though.

  19. I watched this and thought the #1 problem with Operatives/Scoundrels at the moment is the fact that getting out-of-combat to re-stealth is buggy as hell... Otherwise, it seemed like you do a fair amount of busrt from stealth. Also, I play a 50 Marauder and 47 Operative and think that as long as it doesn't take me forever to get out of combat, it is fine.
  20. I know right! Can you imagine just yesterday I ran into this Sentinel that I 1 vs 1 frequently and just when we were fighting, another republic joins in. He instantly stopped attacking me, which I thought was amazing and got teary eyed a bit
  21. I have been out there for weeks engaging in zerg vs zerg, roaming solo to find other soloers etc. Bioware can only provide the play-ground and you must make an effort to play...
  22. I am sorry but this is simply not true. We have many times where Republic is camping our base. It all ends with the players and what they are willing to do. Also, one of the best PvP guilds in our server is on Republic not to mention they destroy Empire in WZs frequently.

  24. I haven’t had this much fun since the Old Frontiers days of Dark Age of Camelot. Look I understand that many people are frustrated with ILUM. The amount of problems that everyone, including myself are encountering, be it FPS issues, disconnects, kills not counting etc. However, nobody can deny the fact that Bioware did something WoW has stopped trying many years ago. To engage and encourage people in Open World PvP! Some people complain that it is just a big stand off and involves BHs pulling people in to get kills, but I have encountered, at least on my server, many great pulls and pushes, flanking from the sides, and other tactics being deployed to make the most of this experience. I also think the majority of the player base simply do not know how to PvP in an open world setting. Just to give you an idea, we were engaging republic in a stand off by their base and the usual BH pull/kill scenario was playing out. Couple of us suggested that everyone pull back to the center and have people watching for Republic coming out of their base. As soon as we get the word that the Republic was coming out, we went around them and flanked them from behind resulting in a completion of weekly in a matter of minutes. I don’t know about you but I am having great fun even with all the issues present in ILUM. I can’t imagine how much more fun it would be once Bioware fixes these issues in due time…
