  1. Here's the bottom line. Do you enjoy your operative? If you said yes then continue to play it don't worry about what everyone else thinks its all about what makes you happy. Rated WZs well we will see when the time comes. You know your doing things right when ppl in general cuss you for killing them 12 times or more a game. Your an operative pissing ppl off comes with the class it's kinda like Paris Hilton bad publicity is better than no publicity :-P. play what you like and forget about everything else.
  2. I am however very fortunate to have some very nasty operatives on my server. Some DPS bots dishing out incredible damage and others who like to play objective to obtain the W. I find it very unfortunate that ppl consider operatives a lost class with 0 utility as I have known many games have hinged on a single heroic operative moment. Grabbing the ball at the last seconds, setting up touchdown passes with less than 30 seconds. Countless ninjas/plants. I can't imagine a rated 8 man team without one tbh.
  3. I would love to argue with you for day's but you have already made up your mind right? Assassins are better in everyway and operatives are just a lost class with no skills at all. Fine by me, we can always convine later and talk rated stats, post pictures, whatever you would like. I can't change your mind obviously your a stubborn one at that.
  4. No I haven't actually, just from what I have seen in WZs. Well there you go man you have answered your own question that has been churning in your head the entire time. Play your assassin let your OP die out. There are many of us that will continue to push through and I'm certain will do just fine. I am by no means the greatest on my server but the guys who are like Sark, Genn, Score, and Busy will no doubt have very high rated teams. Bring that sin over to Iron Citadel and I promise you those guys will make you change your mind. Utility or not :-P
  5. I never questioned your credibility just curious on how you think a DPS sin can out DPS an operative? I thought maybe your gear was wrong that's all.
  6. BM ear, rakata implant, BM implant (enforcer), orange bracers, matrix cube, BM 380 power relic. Full BM enforcer core pieces with mods/enhancements ripped out and changed. Orange belt. Stack power, surge
  7. Do you have your operative geared correctly?
  8. Better DPS? I cannot agree with this as no assassin will put out more DPS than a geared operative. Well I havent seen such anyway.
  9. With full BM, Relics and the whole 9 I have 703 expertise. I have it on Fraps where a jugg in a duel has hit me for 6700 so yeah maybe 7k but it's still extremely close.
  10. I'm just as guilty early on complainIng about Huttball. Stealth up to an enemy pop adrenal/relic to get punted off the rails to work your way back up to the rail to be punted again. Yes I have cursed numerous times. Solution stick to the middle and camp your endzone if need be play to your strengths not your weaknesses
  11. So what do you want? Help me understand a gap closer like a force leap? Humor me and say we get a force leap then all you will hear are complaints that it's on to long of a cd, or the range isn't right. I do agree with you that we have issues navigating the Huttball WZ but it seems to me like you guys want everything.
  12. Man I still don't see it, even with assassins and the utility you can counter it all. If you open on a sin which is quite easy since stealth really is quite broken in this game you should win every time. What do most sins do when they start to lose? Stun and force speed away right? Save CC breaker and have server tendon on keybind. Yeah it is 10 meters but we are a melee class right you should be that close anyway. They do have a nice 3 second immune they like to pop near death......rifle shot/overload shot goes right through it. It's about knowing your class and knowing your opponents class. If you feel like you need all this extra utility to be on par with an assassin then your playing your class wrong. If you want to really complain about a class then complain about Juggs/Maras because a 7k smash on 700 expertise is ok, not to mention undying rage.
  13. You guys are going about this wrong. So your right operatives are at a huge disadvantage in Huttball point taken and noted. What about the other two WZs where as an operative you can literally swing the game in your favor all by yourself. Assassins have stealth and all this awesome utility so what if they can't kill the target before they scream for help. So ok I'll give ya Huttball is that all you want?
  14. Yeah it's true we lack any sort of pull, gap closer you name it, but do knock backs effect you that much? Maybe it's the 100's upon 100's of matches played but you can re-position yourself to advoid this. Sure they will push you off every once in awhile but just try it. Next time open on a sorc and as soon as debilitate is wearing off position yourself and jump when they go to knock you back. It works wonders :-p
  15. Best thread so far I love seeing all the replies. Alright my turn, I also play a valor level 83 concealment operative. I have pulled every accuracy enhancement and replaced with the champ enforcer glove enhancements. I have also ripped out all the BM mods and replaced with BM enforcer helm mods to stack the extra power. I currently look something like this self buffed with stim. 7800-9400 503 expertise 34% crit 76.01 surge. With all that said so many of these posts have been spot on. Yes I can easily kill a sorc/sage in one stunlock via the double HS. This isn't practical but nevertheless can be done. Weebs said it best in his post about the utility factor but left a few things out that I would like to preach on. Defense.....Operatives are freaking beasts. Huttball chain CC for fire or simply HS, BS, CS, into another HS this will normally kill the ball carrier especially if he is getting wailed on by your team. Civil war/ Voidstar these are my personal favorites, stealth classes own these WZ's and yes better than assassins. 90% of your groups will leave 1 person guarding a turret or door. When you see this you should automatically smile. They can't call for help if they don't see you. Stealth in, blow them up, and cap/plant GG. Sure operatives are getting the nerf hammer AGAIN I am also aggravated by this but what can ya do? Whining on here isn't going to help not like the devs read this anyway.
