  1. yeah, unfortunately I had to make another character to be the brother of my main's father just to create a cousin.
  2. Will NPCs in 1.2 or in the future recognize a character who is related to someone else the NPC contacts? For example, would Grandmaster Satele acknowledge that a character's Consular father is on the Jedi Council?
  3. Can you take people of other classes to areas exclusive to your class from your ship? For example, I might want a healer with me when I confront the Emperor on Dromund Kaas as a Jedi Knight. Would I be able to bring another class with me there?
  4. Primary is the pre-order black-yellow one, and secondary is red. When I get to that point, I'm planning on replacing the black-yellow with the endgame black-red.
  5. I'm a guy and so is my Smuggler, and even I have a little bit of a man crush on him haha. I really like the Kira romance, though.
  6. I feel like their shouldn't be two separate preferences for default and the extended quick slots, but whatever. I also think it's weird that they moved your name and class to next to your portrait, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Really excited to move my right quick bar over to be right next to my left one.
  7. Here we go. My Jedi Guardian is my main. He is married to Kira Carsen, and they have a child who's a Sentinel. The Guardian had this idea: because Kira wasn't able to "attach" and marry him under the Jedi Council's rules, he pretended to marry a friend of his, another female Jedi. When the Guardian and Kira had a child, the female Jedi went through a false pregnancy to coincide with Kira's. The Guardian's father was a Jedi Sage. When he was in his mother's womb, Jedi near his mother felt such immense force power that they knew the unborn child was force sensitive. So, they took him away from his parents and he was raised on Tython. His parents were griefstricken, so they adopted an orphaned Zabrak, who joined the Republic Army and rose through the ranks as a Special Forces trooper (He's my Commando). Towards the end of his career, the Commando and his team were sent to assassinate the dictator of a planet on a major trade route. Towards the end of the mission, the Senator coordinating the mission revealed that the dictator had promised access to the trade route to the Senator's planet, and though the military liason of the mission protested, the Senator had a squad of Republic bombers assault the dictator's headquarters under the guise of an Imperial raid. The Commando's team was killed, but with the help of a Smuggler who was also at the headquarters to bring supplies (my Gunslinger), the Commando escaped. The Commando refused to return to the Republic, instead going to Hutt Space to become a Bounty Hunter. After performing a mission for a slaver, the former Commando killed the slaver, releasing his slaves. He eventually fell in love with one of the man's personal Zabrak slaves, and he retired, having a child with the former slave. This child would grow up to become a Bounty Hunter (my Powertech), following in his father's footsteps. My Sith Marauder is the rival of my Jedi Guardian. His father was once an aspiring Sith Pureblood student at the Sith Academy on Korriban. However, when he was nearing his twenties, his father and mother were murdered by the agents of a rival of his father's. He escaped, learning how to hide his force sensitivity, and joining Imperial Intelligence as a Sniper. Note: the Sage, Sentinel, and Sniper characters have not been created yet.
  8. Malgus had a different vision and a more direct opportunity to take control of the Empire than Jadus. In addition, Jadus had too many enemies on the Dark Council and otherwise to really sieze control. Finally, Jadus has a variable fate, while Malgus has a certain fate up until the False Emperor.
  9. Mine's not really a reference, just something I think is cool, Dracon.
  10. Not saying they will/should add new classes, but here are some ideas: Jedi Specialist: An operative who works behind the scenes, gathering intelligence, performing critical strikes, and weakening enemy forces. Base weapon is the standard lightsaber. Other equipment includes all purpose wristbands that are equipped with electric arms, poisons, etc. Uses advanced acrobatics techniques to get to vantage points others cannot. Advanced Classes Weapon Master: Expert at assassination and the quick disabling of enemies, Weapon Masters employ lightpikes and lightwhips against their foes. Mechanic: Improves upon the all purpose wristbands for additional weaponry. Uses standard lightsaber to support the wristbands' powerful ranged capabilities. Droid: A an advanced droid that recently developed free will and escapes their abusive master to free other enslaved droids. Has five models each with their own distinct appearance and ability: Republic, Imperial, Wookie, Ugnaut, and Jawa. Uses both blaster rifles and vibroblades in battle. Advanced Classes Android: Downloads Jedi (or Sith, depending on model) melee combat programs to improve vibroblade and hand-to-hand combat skills. Learns how to use techblades, electrostaffs, and vibroknives. Automaton: Hones blaster skills with Republic SpecForce (or Imperial Intelligence) programs and develops proficiencies with blaster pistols and sniper rifles.

  12. I had realized, if you have the chestguard, you can use the "bind to chest" feature that changes the color of all the gear to what the chestguard is to make it a faux Battlelord set. The Legacy set's orange anyway. I'll try to get all of the different pieces, but I may use that as a last resort.
  13. This was my favorite thing ever until I realized it was 1 AM on April first. I honestly hope this becomes something that becomes real like what Blizzard did with the Pandarans... PLEASE PUT THIS IN!!!!!!! I really DO want to kill time as C2-N2 and 2R-V8!
  14. Yep, that and blue lockboxes from Blesavis, Voss, and Correlia.
  15. It's just occurred to me that you only really need the Battlelord chest guard and the Legacy pieces to have a semi-Battlelord set. Because of the feature they're adding in 1.2 that changes the color of all the gear to match that of the chest gear. Of course, it won't be a real Battlelord, but it's a step closer.
  16. That makes two of us haha. If you're in the 30-35, range, though the Polyfibe set is a gray version of the Battlelord armor. There's also a black and gold version that can be crafted.
  17. Thanks for that link. The whole Legacy vendor idea seems pretty cool, but I'm most intrigued by the random Legacy item drops in Flashpoints and whatnot. The Republic exalted sets all look really cool to me, though by the time Legacy rolls out, my Guardian will hopefully have all Battlelord gear, so the Guardian Exalted set will be useless to me. The Empire ones...meh. I just hope the Birthright and Inheritance construction kits won't be too hard to get.
  18. We're not talking about Heroic Missions on Corellia. That post dosen't adress any daily missions in the least. They aren't adding new Heroics, they're planning on continuing class story arca. It's good that you're starting to move on from this, but I'd say that keeping your subscription just to complain is obessing, at least to some degree.
  19. Sigh. Here we go. Why would stopping threats to the Empire entail you going back to that spaceport, exactly? You can't go bsack there because you would never NEED to go back there. Secondly, can you post a link to that comment? Because I'm fairly certain that whenever they add a new Flashpoint, they have to bring the voice actors back anyway.
  20. Actually, ALL, if not most, of the class endings are very open ended and can go somewhere in the future. Here are a few examples: Knight- Find the actual, weakened, and mortal Emperor and kill him Warrior- Crush Republic forces as the Emperor's Wrath. Agent: Stop threats to the Empire throughout the galaxy Trooper: Continue to perform military missions. I think it's pretty general, uninformed, and inaccurate to say there will never be any more solo content. In addition, it does not MAKE you roll any alts. Even beside the solo Legacy features, it's not like you really need those bonuses. Most people are doing just fine without those bonuses.
  21. Well, for that, they establish that characters are adopted by a member of a different species.
  22. To give you an answer, my understanding is that the features still unlock from wherever your characters are. You can link you level 50 to your level 20s right off the bat when the Legacy System becomes active. The features, I believe, also unlock for your characters if they're at the appropriate spot.
  23. So excited for the Legacy System. The whole family tree concept is awesome, and all of the other features make it even better!
  24. I don't find Marauders hard to play at all. In fact, it's one of my easier characters to play as.
