  1. I love playing a Focus Guardian, though it's definitley not as easy playing, say, a Carnage Marauder. I hope these changes can help me, and most seem pretty useful. Swelling Winds being moved into Focus is definitley good, but I don't know about changing Zephyr. Other than that, though, I don't know if it'll affect my actual distribution of the skills. I've got 2 points with Stagger and 2 with Swelling Winds, so it's not a huge change.
  2. With the Legacy system in Update 1.2, will NPCs recognize your relation to characters of the same class or will the related character make an appearence in another's storyline if it's fitting for them to intersect? For example, a Consular, on the Jedi Council, meets his son, a Jedi Knight.
  3. Out of curiosity, has anyone gotten any pieces from the blue lockboxes you can buy with Corellia and Voss Commendations?
  4. Is that a Heroic Mission or Heroic Area, or...?
  5. I'm just wondering...did I choose the right spec? I use Focus because it's geared toward the Shii-Cho form, which is what I usually use. I want to inflict a decent amount of damage but still want the slight defensive boost it gives However, I rarely do any PvP, and I've heard this is a PvP spec. Can I still do well in PvE if I use Focus?
  6. In my mind, if they added Doc in early, he wouldn't be as naturally strong as a healer. Malavai Quinn, the Sith Warrior healer, for example, joins you on Balmorra (the third planet for the Empire), and he's not the healer Doc is.
  7. You might not have gotten to that point in the romance.
  8. I've heard it's April now. By my calculations, as long as they stay with the weekly 1.1.5, 1.1.6, and so on, 1.2 will come out on Apri 10th.
  9. I live in Gaithersburg, central MD, about 35 air miles from DC. I spend a lot of time on the Defenestrator server, and a moderate amount on Shien and Davik's Estate.
  10. What server are you on, because I also live in Gaithersburg?
  11. Yup, I think so too. Doc (fourth Knight Companion) and Kaliyo (first Agent companion) know each other as well.
  12. And when they add more daily missions to Corellia there'll be even more chances!
  13. Part of it depends on your spec, partly how you play. I used Shii-Cho almost all the time (I spec Focus) until the game got pretty difficult for me in the lvls 20s through 30s, then I used Sorensu. Now that I have Doc, though I use Shii-Cho more because I don't absolutely need the damage boost. Keep in mind, I barely PvP at all.
  14. It looks awesome and is fully modable so you can wear it basically forever.
  15. If you don't like 3, I like body type 2. My Knight has some pretty good proportions by my standards. I go size 3 for Sith Warrior.
  16. I just got Doc as a Guardian and am finding him to be the most useful, but I also really like Kira in general. Up until I got Doc, I had to be in Sorensu all the time just to survive, but now I only feel I need to use all of my buffs and whatnot if I'm facing an Elite or two Strong enemies. I'm not sure if I just speced wrong (I use Focus because it's more geared toward Shii-Cho and not for PvP), but Doc is invaluble, even if sometimes he heals like crazy and others he dosen't do much healing at all. Though I think that when I play as a Sentinel, I'll use Kira mostly.
  17. I really like this format of announcement. Am I correct in thinking that this means that it'll cost less to train the ability to use speeders?
  18. I always had thought it would be a cool idea. Would it be possible to have an aesthetic slot on a character that would allow you to equip skins for an item, like a lightsaber, for example, to make it look like one of the sabers from the movies? To that point, are there any ideas floating around for an aesthetic slot or aesthetic items?
  19. "Traditional"'s a little objective but I think you'd want a Sentinel, as Guardian stuff gets a little more armor oriented as you get higher, at least in my experience. And just for the record, if you're worried about two/single sabers, you don't have to equip a second saber. A second one comes in the Sentinel kit, but you can just sell it or something and retain the second saber.
  20. This is mostly a curiosity question. I always had thought it would be a cool idea. Would it be possible to have an aesthetic slot on a character that would allow you to equip skins for an item, like a lightsaber, for example, to make it look like one of the sabers from the movies?
  21. Server: The Defenestrator Character Name: Valtor Need: Chestguard, greaves, handgear, belt, and bracers I'm 15 levels too low to wear it, but I'd like to get it out of the way beforehand. I don't have many credits at the moment but by the weekend I'll probably have gathered a lot together. Send me a message in game and we'll work something out. I'd most prefer the chestguard or greaves if possible, but I'll be very happy with any of the ones listed above.
  22. I read a comment from someone who got the chestpiece from a lvl 48 Elite on Corellia. So basically you can get them from level 45+ mobs.
  23. This may be a little odd, but here goes: Not sure if this works in terms of the game (haven't played enough to finish Act 1 yet), but my Bounty Hunter, a Zabrak, is related to my Jedi Guardian. His father is the adopted son of my Knight's grandfather, who adopted the Zabrak when he and his wife needed someone to fill the void their son (my Knight's father) left when they sent him away to become a Jedi. My Knight will eventually have a son under the strict regulations of the Jedi Order. His wife will probably be a Jedi Sage. His son will be a Sentinel.
  24. My main one is the pre order black-yellow one, and the secondary is red. When I eventually make another warrior that'll go all good decisions, they'll probably have red and blue or green and orange.
