  1. Maybe it's just my play style, but I always get my behind handed to me in PvP when I play Focus, even though I love playing it in PvE.
  2. I play Light Side, but from what I've seen, the opposite of the norm of the faction (DS Empire, LS Republic) makes if easier. If you're not sure what to do, I'd go LS generally but Dark Side if it's an option presented by a military person that might be reealistic or might make the military's life easier.
  3. The Battlelord set is the one you're thinking of, but if you want a gray version, there's a level 32ish set, all with Polyfibe in the name. Almost exactly identical to Battlelord, just gray and no shoulder pads.
  4. Great guide. Really looking forward to seeing your description of the Focus Tree, as I'm one of the few who both use and support it. Speaking of which, Focus gives you Zealous Leap, which doesn't have an interrupt, but fits in nicely with the Focus Tree.
  5. Really pumped for this! Glad there's At least a few people who aren't haters that think the game'll die. Love the new companion.
  6. I've on characters of a multitude of levels regularly and haven't gotten one Legacy Item Drop. Would you mind saying how often these are supposed to drop and on what kind of enemies?
  7. I really wish I hadn't accidentally locked myself out of the romance I really wanted to do (Kira Carsen). I'd really want to see companions in the Legacy family tree.
  8. Orgus is awesome-so much better than Master Yuon from the Consular story.
  9. Until Doc, levelling a Guardian is pretty tough. After it, though, it's tons easier, at least for me, using Focus. Once you get the buffs for Force Sweep, it goes from being a 900ish attack to in the 2000s at it's highest. Add in the Zealous or Force Leap for one buff and the Force Stasis or Exhaustion for the Singularity that improves it even more and it's an incredible amount of damage.
  10. Kind of new to server transfers. Will transferring a character delete the character from the original server?
  11. I really want to use Jaesa for the romance and affection gain, but I've found it to be very hard to play without Quinn.
  12. I'm anticipating the hood down feature, but I hope it doesn't just make the hood disappear. I'd like to see the hood down like they have on the Jedi Knight character creation models. If the hood disappears entirely, I won't even bother.
  13. I had some green ones with a multicolored pattern on Them. Unfortunately not orange, but I got them from a random drop on Balmorra and kept them until the end of Belsavis. Don't remember the name though, sorry, but I'm sure you could find them on Y TORhead.
  14. :/ He was pretty easy for me. Maybe it's because I had a tank, but just taking out the adds while the friendly NPCs distracted Krannus was easy enough, then I beat him pretty quickly.
  15. Yeah, I find the saber throw move far superior, in animation as well as damage and the distance it can be done from--it's 30-10 meters. I think it's a little odd how you can only use dispatch on an enemy that has less than 50% health.
  16. I personally use strength just because my strength, with stims, is about 100 below my endurance.
  17. Definitley an 8 to 8.5. It's an awesome story-puts you in the role of the galaxy saving Jedi from the movies, which I love. Of course, there aren't any super unique experiences lik the Sith Warrior or the awesome twists like the Imperial Agent, but I love it just the same.
  18. I don't mind Force Sweep, though I wish it was Force Push. Hopefully it'll be powerful enough; I'm Focus specced so I'm used to it doing a LOT of damage.
  19. I would've romanced Kira, but I accidently locked myself out of the romance. She's hillarious and just so real...kinda like a fanboy's dream. Especially her combat shouts: "Feel my force!" "Eat lightsaber, jerk!" My SW is romancing Jaesa. I know she's a psychopath, but...I'm just attracted to her for some reason.
  20. It's not automatically hood down, you've got to equip the headgear. I'm not super upset about this, but I would like to see the option to have the hood down, not gone entirely. Sort of like they have in that picture you talked about or the armor the character wears in the Jedi Knight character creation screen.
  21. Other than the loss of Zephyrean Slash, I've been fine, maybe even better off with the 1.2 changes to Focus. And while I'm happy I don't have to sacrifice a skill point to make Master Strike uniterruptable, it was interruptable before and it's still interruptable now.
  22. It's not a different set; that video was released when, in the Beta, there was a Battlelord-esque set earlier on. Plus, all but a few Guardian armors have the hood up. They did a lot of promotion with Guardians with hoods down, but it isn't really like that. Unless you equip the headpiece which makes the hood disappear entirely, almost every armor has a hood.
  23. I played Carnage in PvE and PvP up to lvl 31, and I don't know if it's because of 1.2 or me respeccing incorrectly after my points were refunded, but one I'm finding Annihilation to be a lot better. Before I could barely take on regular enemiesvand strong ones two levels below mine, but with Annihilation I was destroying elites.
  24. I alternate between them, and I'm Focus spec. Doc I use when I'm facing people above, on, and a little below my level. Scourge I occasionally use when there are semi-large mobs of regular/trash enemies.
