I didn't even know about the extra line of dialogue. I was talking about the bonus quest during the battle on Voss that auto completes if you've done the veteran SFs. And something else during the battle of odessen which I've forgotten now, was a while ago I did it. The point being if you're gunna do them, its pointless to do them after the fact, when the entire purpose of them was the KotFE/KoTET storyline.

There is a reason to do veteran SF before waiting until 75 with full gear though. It should be doable sooner because its tied into the KOTFE KOTET story lines where you get bonuses in the story for having completed all the starfortresses in veteran mode. Its utterly useless waiting until after the fact. This is one FP that should not scale up to be difficult at 75 in full gear.

I could never get past the Voss one solo, did get past all the others though. Voss was always more difficult for some reason, I can't recall off the top of my head what made it harder. Going in duo makes a big difference though, with just 1 friend and 1 extra healer its suddenly much easier to do veterans without the headaches.

Exactly this really. They mess with storymode difficulty in one small section of the game, required for story progression, then wonder why half the people are struggling and can't do it and are getting stuck. I was one of the lucky ones who played back when we had to know our classes just to get by in the most insignificant quests. This is so not the case for many newer players. They went from an empty pool to a full pool in the blink of an eye without teaching people how to swim, then wonder why they are drowning. If they gradually increased the water level over a few FPs, to give the people time to learn how to swim, no one would be drowning.

Use Heroic moment when the snipers spawn. Gives you time to take them out while it heals you and comp.

Whats the reward difference between heroic and veteran? Veteran SF is only one of all the FPs that was designed to be soloable. It presents quite a challenge but is managable. I'd personaly stick to veteran for SFs but thats just me.

You don't have to go there for the storyline. I did it once, now I skip it. Its the one thing that can be skipped without effecting anything else.

I just know I am going to fall behind in the next few weeks after ME:L launches because I haven't been able to do all of the objectives in the past couple of weeks - and probably won't be able to catch up after. Shouldn't be this bad that missing a week or 2 out of 5 months is going to screw up the ability to finish a thing without spending lots of $ most don't have. This is where not having the ability to choose what objectives we do essentially screws players over. Expecting 100% attendance over 5 months is unrealsitic.

It's not needed post SoR. All SoR and earlier fps were group design, so they put the bot into the story fps for storymode rather then changing the difficulty of these. All post SoR fps were created with an easier mode from the get go so no bot was needed for them.

I like N and the descriptions it has there of each character etc. It does do more then just summon. It also has quick travel to advisors and quest npcs from alliance alerts and what not. And if I am not mistsken all the alliance alerts go there too.

My thought was maybe a different level designer did SoV then did the others. The idea was good in theory, biggest issue being everyones different skill levels, gear ratings and a few bugs. Plus some classes seem to have an easier time then others. I walked through it pre and post patch on characters until I took my operative through, then the whole thing was a struggle.

Very few are asking for that. All I see most (including myself) asking for are options. Content is either super easy or super hard. There's no middle ground in places like flashpoints and chapters, where options are available, to take a middle ground 'normal' option. For those who want to be challeneged without having to have the best gear, sets and augments. Story content right off the block is all set to easy, even though a lot of story is in flashpoints these days and could also offer options other then a one setting fits all easy mode. You don't even get to pick a difficulty for these at all during the story phase. All most want is the option to choose in places like flashpoints where it's viable to do so and a middle ground normal mode for places that already have easy, veteran(hard) or master(nightmare) modes.

We've been asking for more significant content for vanilla companions for 6+ years now, maybe even longer. They started doing it with KotFE then stopped. I think if they were going to revisit it they would have done it by now . Won't stop me asking but pretty much given up hope of ever having any decent Aric, Vector, Torian again and now even Theron is getting less and less.

It's funny because I was the oposite. I found running all the side missions totally killed the flow of the class story and that by the time I got there I'd forgotten where I was at and what the story was about. Nothings stopping you running them all though. Just ignore your level and do it. Contents all easy mode either way, they took out the difficulty a long time ago.

When you choose quit game rather then swap characters it's literally only like a second longer. Have never had it take any longer then that to feel the need to alt f4. Just choose immediate rather then the countdown. Some games are programmed to use alt f4 as a regular menu quit, others aren't. Don't think there's any real way to know which category swtor falls under.

They should make craftable -xp augments for those who want it. Can't imagine it'd be that hard when they can do +xp stuff.

Why do you alt f4 as opposed to using quit game on the menu as it was designed for? Alt f4 is a force quit of the game, no wonder it goes strange.

I personally love my strongholds. On Yavin i have different rooms setup, ones a quiet reflexion room - mostly copero decos, the main room is mostly Jedi stuff with a couple of research tables (plenty of jedi world drops around), another rooms setup as KotFE Skytrooper research room (star fortress deco drops). Then theres one bedeoom. Outside is all plants, gardens and animals with an outdoor eatery. The small rooms outside ones a bunkhouse (star fortress bunk beds + general vendor decos) and the other a medical center (Not sure where the med consoles or medical bed came from). I don't have many cartel decors. Worked with what I did have. Entirely possible to get a decent setup, without spending big. I dont have big to spend. Mines at 74% because I dont generally add things that dont 'fit' with the decor. As new rep vendors, fps etc are added that do fit it increases. Occationally I'll add something from the CM with my monthly 500cc that also fits, with 6yrs of subbing though that does add up if you don't spend it on packs etc.

It's closer to normal mode, or was before they dropped the difficulty. Its def not veteran/hard mode

Tbh I have hardly touched the GTN in months other then to sell some crafting mats and buy one dye that was about 300k. If you aren't into farming or using the gtn to earn and just play the game you just don't get that many credits from just playing anymore. They nerfed all that - which essentially nerfed story players into the ground for creds. I'm really not personally bothered by it though. Got the appearnce armor sets I wanted ages ago when they were still cheap. I have almost 4k CCs just from saving monthly sub reward - more then enough for any new sets that might pop up that I want, and I get to spend my time doing what I enjoy the most, story!

Yeah, I haven't specifically gone after any of the reps for those decors or done Ops. Did farm the Copero and Star Fortress decos for a bit (even earned some creds from Star Fortress decos back in the day!). Copero has some of my favs.

There is a double xp event on right now. There is a droid on the fleet that can remove it for you. What you ask is in fact already an option!
