Even if it was their intent it's not like they haven't made decisions in the past that was a miatake or poorly executed. CXP is a perfect example of a poorly executed system and look at the mess it made. Which they later fixed by listening to players suggestions. I agree that kill x bugs was literally the most boring content they could have put in there when theres a whole list of story mode chapters and story flashpoints far more interesting. Also agree its not a very smart system when you get stuff like Blackhole dailies two days in a row. It needs to exclude stuff you already did that week and give you something else instead. But EA knows what its doing and doesn't make mistakes or execute things poorly.....

Doubting sabetours as well tbh, just saw that one today. I hope it's not the case but it was pretty dismissive. Sad. I'd happily romance him on some sabs. Since theres 2 stories running now though maybe theres hope if all republic characters get him that he will have continued content.

The biggest exodus in this game happened when the command xp system went live. The system was tweaked to be better over time, but took too long and the damage had already been done. Most didnt come back. Full healthy servers became literal ghost towns.

I've played MMOs for 23+ years, seen plenty of people quit over anger and frustration. More then boredom infact because MMOs by design generally always have something to do.Most mass exodus from games are caused by stupid, frustrating game systems put in place during an update. If you're getting angry and frustrated at a video game everyday its not healthy and its def time to quit. Some people are just smart enough not to keep putting themselves back in those situations. A video game isn't supposed to be a stressful second job, one of those a day is enough for most. Also seen people quit over constant dissapointment at not being able to reach goals they'd like to reach.

He has already been included in everyones story since all my toons got the conversation with Lana re: the missiles and Zenith.

I had this happen on day 1 with heroics. Said I had completed the heroics because I'd already done a couple that day and gave no points. If you roll it into something you already did that day, it auto completes and gives no points for it. Rather annoying little oversight.

Or at least for them to stop asking the Alliance for help. They must be pretty despirite to keep coming to my agent with missions. Loving it though really, especially blaming everyone else for her 'failings' but my hope is for her to be a fully fledged republic supporter soon!

Tried it on my Operative when I was dying over and over, it doesn't work, the snipers just move. When you get truly stuck, pop heroic moment when the snipers spawn, it heals you and your companion and stays up for more then enough time to kill the snipers. Didn't need it on all my other toons, but it was the only way I got my operative through.

I had the taskbar bug on my Sentinel, but I never went back into the flashpoint and it seems to be locking fine now.

In Everquest soloing was actually looked up to because it wasn't something everyone could do and do well. Took a fair amount of skill to fear kite, quad kite and charm kite - one mistake would usually mean death of the player. Even that games changed now, sometimes I miss the good old days of MMOs!

People grinding like that are choosing to do so, when there are other options available. One could say thats a hole that they've dug for themselves, only one to blame there is themselves. Instead if they could pick and choose - they could simply get the rewards whilst doing what they are already doing now and just get extra for it. I'm also okay with a few solo options being added into the weekly rotation - currently there are none. It would at least give me a few extra points now and then, allowing some leeway if I have to go on vacation for a week and can't play, or have days I need to spend with family. I can not do PUG situations. Being pushed in with a bunch of strangers triggers anxiety which triggers panic attacks. It's not even healthy for me to because the panic attacks raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels (stroke risk etc). It's easy for people to dismiss this stuff when they don't live it. Doesn't make it any less real for others. I can sometimes do unranked, if my ping allows it. Interactions there are vastly different. Just the odd 'help defend xy or z' and a bunch of people suddenly show up to help. Have never been bullied or treated poorly there and the cordination works very differently to a whole group working to take down a boss. Ranked is more strict (and because of it more hostile) so it's out.

There's definitely something wrong with my operatives DPS but also the companion wasn't using his CC skill at all on my Operative but did when I was on my BH, which helps hold off some damage taken. Walked through it with my BH last night, 270 gear, in half the time. Had no real issue with the final boss etc

I liked some aspects of it but not others. The setting was great and the game play of the flashpoint was fine. The story is interesting and clearly leading to something, which is always good. As for the rest, I'd rather they used companions (or at least a companion) we already have then keep introducing new ones. Got a list full of companions on every character that are never used. At least my BH got to see Torian in SoV even though I hate the actual flashpoint. Dissapointed he didn't get a kiss though when Theron and Lana both did.

My Trooper needs her Jonas flirts! I hope his presence doesn't continue to be gated behind the sab storyline. Troopers saw him 1st!

Exactly this. If your force players into content they don't like, for goals they want to reach, they just get frustrated and annoyed. They end up hating that the games turned into a second job instead of a fun game for them and quit, which helps no one. Also whats being ignored here are the people that physically and mentally can not handle certain aspects of the game because of disabilities beyond their control - suddenly you're turning what could be a fun system for them into something that could quite literally induce a panic attack, cause them physical damage or into something that they just can't ever do.

When will we get another character slot sale? It's been like a year and a half now since the last one. Been waiting to drop some extra $ on a character slot sale so long!

Yes, the entitlement is unreal. Imagine demanding more free stuff after already being gifted hours of enjoyment for nothing..

They could double or tripple the number of bug kills/heroics/chapters/solo flashpoints and I'd still rarher do that, then spend 5 mins in a PUG or GSF.

We have a bunch of other characters already under used I'd rather see before I want to even touch anyone new. If they take the new route over giving them content, I'm done. Yes, I could handle Theron taking a backseat for a bit, but only if my other LIs are bought forwards to fill that void. Theron appealed to me as a romance because he was Bastila's descendant, I was all over that. Jonas appeals because he is an old character being brought forward and my Troopers always flirted with him. I could get on board there but I'd have to make a whole new character. The rest? Zero interest at all. Arn, the new sith guy etc just no interested in romance with them. Well except Kira if they give her more f/f content but again she's an older comp not a new one and I'd have to make a whole new char for her too. It's a lot of work to get new characters up there now, and chars I've invested a lot of time in would be shelved, so it may not be enough of a reason to stick around.

I have all of them and I agree. No problem at all with others being able to work towards getting them. It's not as if they're just handing them all over for no effort.

To be fair, bioware is offering a pretty sweet deal. It's really not upto them to cater to those who cant afford to drop a few $$ now and then. It sucks but it's reality when they can't make the game for free tp begin with and are running a company. The number truly in the boat you're talking about who couldnt even manage 1 mo out of 5 is small. Most are probs already subbed to other games and choose not to make swtor their primary (like me when I play Everquest ftp because I choose to keep my sub with SWTOR). I'm just grateful to be able to play Everquest at all when I can't afford 2 subs. I'd never consider asking them for more when they already give so much for nothing. That would be like being offered to go out for dinner, them being willing to give the main meal for free but asking you to pay if you want the 3 course meal. Going there and eating the meal then demanding they give more for nothing instead of thanking them for the free meal. I'll never understand that. Biowares giving the main meal for free, yet peeps are still demanding more instead of being thankful for what they're being given for nothing. But I'm 43 and old school like that.

They could just save up to sub for the 5th month. Unlock the stronghold and take the chance to use up all those creds locked away in escrow at the same time. Anyone who is really that worried about the CQ. It's still a 1 time payment and theyd get a bunch of CC for it to unlock other stuff as well. Doesn't seem like an all out bad deal to me.

They could add a 1 time unlock for some of the SHs into the Cartel Market. FTP was always supposed to be more like a demo of the game then all of the game. More like a try it out, if you like it consider investing in a sub - type deal. FTP already get a lot more then they used to, which was all class stories and locked at lvl 50. No expansions etc The more they give for free ... the more people want.

If it does come to that I'll just quit, that simple. Tired of new comps just for them to end up like rest in the long run. Plus not at LEAST having Theron scenes is a deal breaker for me. He's the only reason I've stayed this long while the others have been shelved. One extra set of lines per update is not that much.
