  2. In games that do that, you wouldn't include any powers that work on both. That's why I think the BH mechanic is unfortunate. It means they will likely never implement either a "ally target/enemy target" system or even the simple "target my target's target" system - both of which reduce the need of changing targets every 3 seconds.
  3. Playing your class should involve the enemies in the game being the challenge, not the tools being the challenge.

Noting that you are making hasty, unsupported assumptions does not mean that I have to immediately make the polar opposite hasty, unsupported assumption. You're trying to exclude the middle to make me look as silly as you look.

  6. Again, you are speculating. You should not make statements of fact when you have no access to relevant facts. What that sentence should say is "No, they like ... I don't know what they like since I have no special source from which to get this knowledge."
  7. Clearer than plain English? Hmmm. Let me think about this one. Those games were popular. They could have been popular because people like watching static, CG heads talking. They could have been popular because people like the stories and would have been fine with the story delivered in a different way, and the rigid talking heads were incidental to their popularity. You don't know. You are attributing the success to the voice overs because that would support what you are advocating, even though you can't know the real reason.
  8. How do you know that? Your only evidence is that people like those games, without anything pointing to the cutscenes as the reason. Also, I can't figure out what the word "but" is doing in your post. "No I'm not, but I'm not" doesn't really work.

  19. No, you load then because the textures required for the inside of your ship are different than the ones required for the space port. You load to go into the hanger because it is class/character specific. There are three options here in how it could have been done. (#1 is what they went with) 1. have the ship and hanger be separate zones - so you load once when boarding and again when leaving 2. have the ship and hanger be the same zone. This way, you don't zone again when boarding the ship. The downside of this is that you do need to zone when you fly from one planet to another. It has to dump the hanger/tatooine textures and load the hanger/alderaan textures. Then you would be able to leave the ship without loading. 3. have ship and all hangers be same zone. This way you have to have all hangers use the same textures, since you need ship + all hangers be in a single set of textures. This means you don't need to zone when going from hanger to ship or when traveling or when going from ship to hanger, but it also means that nothing can be special about any of the hanger zones.
