  1. Glad I don't play my Assassin anymore.
  2. So I'm browsing the forums looking at all the guides, builds, skills, pro-tips and pvp streams and I can"t find a single mention of cells. What cell should I use as a gunnery commando? I'm assuming AP cell and plasma for assault. Pro-tip for the pro-tippers and guide writers, include stances (cells) for the sake of being pro.
  3. I leave if there's no chance of winning and the other guys are just farming medals, I'll also leave if an obnoxious premade is /spit /laugh /flex 'ing at people.
  4. Assassin needs it, if they buffed it to FOTM it would play like the other classes. The way it is now you need to best buffs, stims, adrenals and Surge trinkets to kill anything.
  5. I still see the same Operatives and Scoundrels dominating warzones, I don't know what you're doing wrong.

  10. The Assassin is very underwhelming, even at 50. I have 400 expertise on mine and he's still got like zero burst. Out of stealth he gets dropped with a quickness too. I used to just do the Ilum daily/weekly until Ilum got screwed up, now I don't even play him. I will say my 31 Powertech is the bomb!
  11. It's not an exploit, it's an intended mechanic, what sounds like happened was these guys were farming some noobs in their spawn and one got blapped. Good. The OP clearly stated he was taunting a player that couldn't kill him. If it happens repeatedly, it means you are repeatedly in their endzone long enough for someone with a pull ability to come out the gate. Why are you in their spawn area soo long? Farming medals, that's why.
  12. I will put Guard on a healer lookin type at the start of a match but I have no idea where they're gonna go so half the time Guard is ineffective. If I'm near the ball carrier I'll switch the Guard to them as it should be. Which brings up the real problem of premades. Premades will have these things planned out so the Guard will have 100% uptime on a healer or so. The problem is premades, not the ability.
  13. I did not come from WoW. I have never played WoW. I played Everquest 1 from '99 till now. I play EVE Online also.
  14. I think Creeping Terror needs some kind of graphic or animation. Nothing is more annoying than being rooted/ unable to move and keep clicking your autorun button wondering *** why am I not moving?
  15. It takes me about 3 days to complete my "daily" and I'm an Imperial! Whenever I go there it's about 20 Imps chasing 6 Repubs around.

    Huttball is one of the most amazing maps in any MMO. The sheer amount of strategy and teamwork you can put into a match is incredible. It's like a course on the Art of War. I hated huttball at first as well until I developed personal startegies for the situations I commonly encounter for the class I am playing. You can do some incredible things in this map. Check this out- a match begins, I am on my 28 Powertech. I run down to the middle and pop my bubble and crit trinket, I always stop on the lip of the acid pool, the enemy zergs to grab the ball first ofc. I grapple the guy who grabs the ball and pull him into the pool and immediately Rocket Punch him, the rest of my team finish him off and the ball defaults to me. Someone on my team immediately Guards me and I run around to the side ramp using los to keep from getting hit by enemy ranged attacks, by the time I get up the side ramp, a team member had the forethought to ignore the zerg at the start and hit a side ramp and get into passing position on the enemy side. I pass it to him and he waltzes easily into the endzone having his CC break and defensive ability ready from encountering zero resistance. This all take place within the first 15 seconds of the match. Half the enemy team ragequits thinking we are a premade.
  17. Because the 50 bracket is terrible unless you're in a geared premade. I, however, have been having a blast playing my 29 Powertech. The 10-49 bracket is amazing. I love it.

  19. I would much rather they fix Ilum, existing bugs and existing systems long before they think about something like Arena. Do a couple expansions and level cap raises too.
  20. Forum posters have zero effect on design and balance decisions, these are made by observing in-game metrics. Highest hits, damage done per match, damage done per attack, team comps for winning teams, etc. People on the forums noticed a problems with Ops/ Scoundrels long after BW did. They get to see it more closely than we ever can.
  21. Trying to plan for this and develop a team wide strategy based around it as the OP suggests just isn't happening. I have been able to pull this off on occasion but I just so happened to be spawning, as the ball runner was entering the endzone and his resolve bar wasn't completely full from half my team following him and trying to CC him. It's not as common an occurence as the OP suggests. Does it suck when it happens? Sure, but it also sucks when I get cc'd in the fire, knocked in the acid, knocked off the ramp when I'm close to scoring, or have a Jedi with the ball force leap to me when they're in our pit and I just dropped out of our starting spot along with all the other hazards in huttball. That's why it's my favorite WZ. I've also been booted from warzones and gotten zero reward from trying to get a pull off from loitering too long in the endzone, it's not like it's a risk-free move. You risk losing any reward from the whole match if you're gonna try it.
