  1. Gear should give you a minor advantage, not a major advantage.
  2. I'm a Jedi Guardian. The only way I seem to get a kill reward for daily/weekly is to personally do damage to a target that dies (a little difficult with only one decent ranged attack ). On the other hand, I've had friends tell me they've gone afk for 5 mins and come back to new kills. They told me I needed to buff the group, but casting force might on the group doesn't seem to help. I also had a healer tell me I just had to stand in their healing circle while we were killing folks, but that doesn't work either. My best bet atm other than sneaking out for some sabre throws and hoping whoever I hit gets killed, is to jump in, force sweep and hope my team lands some big aoes on top of me to finish some of the ones I dmg.
  3. Torn. I think its a good idea to give medals for objectives, but objectives are singular whereas achieving them requires teamwork. i.e., If I and a friend rush right on Alderaan, kill the single Imp who ran that way together, and then he caps while I watch ready to CC anyone coming who could interupt him, we've achieved that cap as a team but he got the medal and I didn't. Very similar situation say with planting bombs. Huttball often requires a lot of teamwork, with only one scoring the actual goal, things like that. So I'm not against the idea, just maybe needs some refinement. I do think current objective medals should be updated. I'm fairly sure if you Cap Alderaan and then defend that point and theres no counter for the whole game, you get maybe 3 medals? You've done a valuable role for the team, its not your fault the opposition didn't try to take your turret. Huttball has some strange ones. Theres a defender medal for hanging around your goal line (i.e., the one where you spawn at), which is a horrible plan as it gives opposition an easy target to leap to, but I'm fairly sure theres not one for hanging out near the other goal-line giving your team a prime passing target.
  4. East/West is fairly obvious, but I still tend to use left/right since by now most people know what they mean.

  6. Maybe you should make some friends and run some pre-mades, rather than relying on randoms to do what you want and punish them if they dont.

  8. Kills mean you did any damage to them. So if 8 people do damage while killing someone, then theres 8 kills recorded, and only 1 death.
  9. Yeah, healers def get the raw end of the stick if they just heal.
  10. Sure theres always going to be someone in better gear, but we'd like to close the gap a bit.
  11. You're right OP. Skill shouldn't matter, just the number of hours you put into the game... You're acting like they're just giving away free gear. It still needs to be earned, they're just taking the randomness out of it, which for some (hopefully most) will also result in it being faster, but nowhere near instant.
  12. Man, if they'd mentioned in the note that the change include Champ commendations in the champion bags it would have made things a lot clearer.
  13. And yes, this would either promote afk'ism, or medal farming (depending on what they do), but we already have an issue with people quitting losing matches.
  14. I'm all for healers getting more medals. That should be done regardless of any change to daily reqs.
  15. How squishy are you? Most hybrid builds go for Commanding Awe for the 4% damage reduction, as we don't take the shield or inner peace per full defence specs. This one looks interesting. I miss the Command skill with my current 12/29 build.
