There are different versions and areas which people refer to ability delay, they are likely different issues but may be related. Like the abilities not firing comes into this category also the abilities using the GCD and not doing damage, animations starts then stops (gets interrupted by something when its meant to be instant), and the ability delay where abilities are delayed by longer than the cast time or animation. People have just generalized ability delay to the mount thing. The real name given to this issue should have been faulty ability response.

I am still getting abilities not working, i can press them 10 times the animation will start stop stuttering then finally casts it. Also sometimes the GCD will go off but the ability will do nothing. This small patch update did nothing.

Anyone who does NOT get really bad fps in the PVP area of ilum speak now or show a screenshot. Yes i know it is an MMO and with the amount of players and abilities going off there is obviously potential for low fps. But is it really fun for basically the majority of the community to see this area of the game as a slideshow? Not like most of the community own super high end machines. Or do they want to take the plunge and test the survival of the game so that in future when people do get upgrades and better hardware comes out, that this area will be smooth in gameplay. I wouldnt call standing in 1 of 2 big groups, with the ranged spamming their aoe moves, watching a slide show "decent world PVP".

Yes its lag when you press an ability and the GCD goes off but does no damage. Must be lag for an ability to not go off when pressing it 10 times, the animation starts and stops. With a decent ping and decent fps, must be lag.

My abilities are still not firing.

I just played my guardian in HM esseless, 10 *********** presses for a taunt to go off, force sweap starts n stops animation 100 times. ABILITY DELAY/NOT FIRING STILL EXISTS!!!

It has become normal for people to think "every other game released had bugs so its ok".

1.1.1 update, the fix is there. Currently on the PTR, they have not said when it will go on the servers yet. Check the sticky post they made about it.

I reported one with as much details as possible, then i spoke to one in the chat of the ticket system live. He told me to take screenshots and email them to bioware, so i think he is saying it is the communities job to police them.

I get this alot on my guardian, videos of this was posted into the ability delay thread. I think the ability delay, people are talking about different things which is where some may get confused and not understand the issue. Bioware did say they found a few different issues in this area so hopefully the ability stutter is related and was fixed.
