  1. A lot of those are covered in the Huttball 101 sticky that's referenced in the guide. I did not want to duplicate work already done well.
  2. I've noticed this as well, I'm not sure if it's still working.
  3. I don't necessarily agree with this and I'll say why. If for example scoring the huttball granted medals, then people would have more incentive to just try to tank it to the goal line than pass 3 times to a score. Trying to get players to pass is bad enough, but giving them incentive to try and tank it and not pass would be worse. Same for alderaan and voidstar. You'd have 5 people trying to cap the door for that badge instead of stopping oncoming enemies. Thus I don't think the system mentioned above would really benefit the objective part of the game. Maybe you could do something like if you score, everybody on you team gets a badge? But then people would claim unfair because a few people did all the work while the whole team benefits. They would have to make an exhaustive system of medals to include everything possible towards contributing to the objective in order to make it work. For example you would need medals for some of the following: -Healing the ball carrier -Pulling the ball carrier -Guarding the ball carrier -Reducing dmg to the ball carrier -Dmg/Killing someone attacking the ball carrier -Stunning someone killing the ball carrier? -Being the ball carrier -Passing the ball etc. etc.
  4. My control of english? I'm typing on a forum, different than other things. Also if I was speaking it you wouldn't be able to tell how I was "spelling it" would you? If I said "Twain" how do you know if I was saying "Twain" or "Twane".....you don't.
  5. Pretty much this. And equally skilled healer shouldn't die against an equally skilled dps. The fight should just go on forever. If a healer can't kill you, then you shouldn't be able to kill a healer 1v1. A lot of people have the misconception that you should be able to kill a healer 1v1. If this was true than the healer should be able to kill you as well. If things are "equal" and "balanced"...if a healer can't kill you, you shouldn't be able to kill them either.
  6. This is just your opinion, it doesn't support your claim. Additionally, if Wrestling was 4 guys on a mat vs 4 guys on a mat it's be harder. 1v1 you just have to worry about the other guy. Team games you have to worry about 4 other guys and 3 teammates. Thus Team anything is typically harder as a whole than Solo Anything. Maybe they'll have a Solo Queue Rank and a Team Queue Rank (GASP). Who knows, stop complaining till you know.
  7. And the end result of his post is? So you say nah, that's cool, but saying Nah without any sort of reasoning isn't really providing much information or convincing argument.
  8. This makes no sense. It already exists today. It would be simply moving threads into a more focus forum. Instead of one forum with all types of threads, there would be 2+ with centralized threads. 40-50% of the current pvp forum's threads are Class Balance/Nerf threads. All these threads already have the "l2p" "baddie" "bads" "herp" "derp" in them. Thus you are not creating anything new by moving them.
  9. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. This is all being changed soon. Valor and Commendations from medals will be capped at 4 medals. Thus it won't matter. /Thread
  10. English is not my strong suit, but thx for contributing useless information and bumping the thread.
  11. No because the "Corner" is a "bad place". This is just separate two independent topics with PvP. Class Balance/Nerfs is pretty independent of the rest of PvP. Whether you like Huttball has nothing to do with if a class is OP or not. I'm not saying either are not legitimate. I'm just saying it would make for a better environment in the forums to have them separated out. Some people dont like nerf threads, some only like nerf threads. This would allow you to focus on one or the other, or both. This would also allow more visibility for both sides.
  12. Stop spreading this BS. Nobody knows yet. Final Answer: NOBODY KNOWS YET
  13. I have the following idea and I believe it would make a better environment for the PvP Forum community. The idea is very simple. Split the PvP Forum into two or more sub-forums One Sub-Forum could be "Class Balance/Nerfs" The Other Sub-Forum could be "Everything else" Basically the topic of "PvP" is too broad. Splitting up the forum would allow a more centralized location for common topics. Class Balance/Nerfs is about 50% of the threads on this forum and are fairly independent of the rest of PvP. As there is limited realestate for the front page of the PvP forum, this would allow balance/nerf threads and other PvP threads to co-exist without drowning each other out. In theory, if all the threads are battling for front page spots, only half of the information is actually being viewed by readers. By splitting the threads you are effectively doubling the efficiency of the PvP forum and the information viewed by players. Additionally, a good portion of the forum community doesn't really care about class balance/nerfs and would like to discuss other things and vice versa. The abundance of "unwanted" threads (for whichever side) discourages players from using the forum to discuss topics they are interested in. Class forums already sort of do this by splitting a class into two advanced classes. I think this would be a really simple way to increase the usability and efficiency of the PvP forums. What are your thoughts/opinions? Would you find this useful?
  14. This is so fail. Half of competitions in life are team based. Most sports are team based. It is HARDER to play team vs team than it is 1 vs 1. Thus if you truly wanted a challenge (Which you don't) you'd prefer a team vs a team. The only way your post makes sense is if it was 4 vs 1. Since this is not the case, your whole post is complete fail. There are many reasons to support Solo Queuing, this is not one of them. All you did is harm your cause.

    They're working on it.
  16. This is ironic as the only one not in reality is you. Reality: BW hasn't confirmed or denied ANY of the claims you make. Even if you believe BioWare is going to disappoint you again, it isn't necessarily going to be in the manner you believe. Basically you are spewing non-sense and creating angst for no reason. Just wait 'till the release notes and then you can start rants like this.
  17. Are you still using hybrid after the patch?
  18. Actually he didn't say that. He said two different tiers of Commendations. That's it. What those commendations get you is still a mystery.
  19. Again if this was true than what I stated shouldn't happen on a normal basis. Gear is not greater than skill, that is just a false statement. If you want to rant about gear, it should be done so on it's own independent front like T3 Gear is too great against T1 Gear. Not T3 Gear is better than skill. It's independent and false. As far as the whole thread goes this is all that needs to be said: NOBODY KNOWS HOW IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED YET. STOP CRYING/COMPLAINING ABOUT THINGS THAT HAVE YET TO BE DETERMINED. The only facts that are current is that there will be Rated Warzones and They will have separate commendations. Nobody knows what gear will exist, if it will be cosmetic or not, and if it will ONLY be achievable by ranked warzone commendations. Nobody knows if there is a solo queue or not. Nobody knows how ranks are attributed to a person/team.
  20. I personally don't care how they do gear or whatever. I just want to PvP to PvP. However this above statement is very wrong. I am half champion half centurion geared and I destroy full champion/BM geared individuals. IF your statement was true, that would not be possible. Thus, the above statement is wrong.
  21. So this is just a huge failure in interpretation and assumptions. Nothing was said about better gear. Only different commendations. Nothing was said about premades being the only ones who can queue for ranked warzones. As such, this ENTIRE post/thread is complete heresy and a fail.
  22. I'll repeat. To those to discount it. They are quick to delete/ban/close threads on information pertaining on how to do legit exploits (like the 12 players in a warzone exploit). It is not PROOF as some of you say, but it is evident to it being intended rather than an exploit. Basically there is WAY more evidence supporting it was intended than it is an exploit, and that is all there is to it. Nobody on this forum (apparently not even the forum moderators according to some of you) can actually factually verify if it's intended or an exploit, so this is the most you'll get out of it.
  23. There were actually a ton of threads about it. Just need to dig a little deeper.
  24. Lets put it this way. It was one of the first tricks in my guide (posted in my signature) and they stickied the guide. There are even links to videos on how to do it. As such I don't think if it was a bug/exploit why they would sticky that information.
  25. This actually makes is harder for PvP. It was too EASY to defend a node in PvP. Now it is much HARDER to defend a node ONLY using DoTs in PvP. The Attacks aren't changed what so ever. They still have to kill you. I'm a dotting AC and I approve of this change.
