  1. To the Op... keep those TA's up.... don't be wasting them early on + 15% . Toxic scan with a heal is sweet.. keep it rolling. You KNOW you are going to be stunned at some stage so be prepared. To the others saying the can survive 2v1's.. well.. yes you can.. I have survived 4v1.. but I have also been wasted by 2 in under one stun. It depends on the quality you are facing. If you have 2 on you and one stuns you - you can't break it as you will be instantly re stunned. So you have to soak up 4s of damage and 8.5k damage from each is easily achievable in 4s.
  2. THE best scoundrel on TOFN does not do that damage to me. As a healer I don't fear scoundrels/ops in the slightest. 1v1 you will be lucky to get me to even close to 50% health. I want to play dps but they have nerfed the class so bad the only spec an op can use that is of any use is heals. But i'll let you into a secret of how to beat this best 1v1 class.. as long as your hots are running.. do nothing. It's that easy. Once HS and BS have gone off the dps they out put is pathetic... yes you might be stunned for 4s.. but my hots will put 2-3K back on to me in that time. Any one who thinks scoundrels/ops are the best 1v1 class is either lying to try and get the class nerfed again... a troll.. or on the worst server known to man.
  3. Not doubting you but.... your stats are slightly better on cun and pow.. less on crit.. slightly better on surge and way lower than me on exp. You will rarely.. and when i say rarely i mean 1 in 50+ wz hit some for 5.5k+ on TOFN. With relic+adrenal+wz red buff I hit some one for 607 when i was concealment. 607 with HS. Yes.. I know he was bubbled or what ever.. but on tofn it seems like EVERYONE is. It's worthless being conceal on tofn. I can only assume as it is THE euro pvp the quality is better. An example.. a certain well known concealment op popped on me in voidstar... I had all my hots running... I even didn't bother breaking debilitate... when I was able to move I thought "gonna have to work hard here to keep soandso off me".. well I was 10k health.... and he ran off.... I didn't even have to pop any emergency cd's. he knew he wasn't going to kill me. Pre 1.2 I.d have put him top 5 on the server... maybe top 2. My second "issue" with your statement is you only ever open when roided up... so you fight and then stealth for 1min 45s?????? Of course you don't. Conceal now is "ok" but other classes do all you do and do it way.. way.. way better. Heal spec is the only useful spec and that is not what i rolled an op for
  4. I run a Naga so have all 4 hotbars bound (so 48 buttons).. 1-=. shift., ctrl and alt 1-=. Wheel click for cover, back button for target next pvp target (but that seems to be some random select) and forward button for mic talk. What the 48 naga buttons are.. err.... depends on spec.. generally I try to keep combos together i.e. 1 acid blade, 2 HS 3 debilitate etc etc then some buttons that do the same sort of thing like an aoe I'll bind to say 5 and the second aoe shift - 5.. then alt 5... just so i don't have to think too much
  5. These mini games.. aka Warzones are a joke... why do them? To grind gear to do another mini game.. to err.. grind gear..... don't get me wrong I like to win but if i don't? well... I'll just queue for the next one. If I win? Well i like to win but i'll just queue for the next one. There is zero incentive to play mini games.. gear is handed out with every ca now. It's gotten that boring I'd prefer every one gets a full set of War hero when they hit 50 and there were no mini games only open world objectives. Any one here ever play EQ2 when titles meant something???? There was no reason to pvp apart from some cack title.... yet the pvp was awesome.

    From what i have heard in 1.3 they are getting rid of the scoreboard at the end of the Warzone... then a fix will get rid of all damage. Finally.. you won't be able to hit another player at all and all overtly aggressive emotes will be removed.

  8. Our guild was about 100 at launch. Now a busy night is 15-20. Most left after about 2 months. The last remaining 20 are merely treading water until GW2. Then we will ALL unsub. It's a shame as I had really.. Really high hopes for this game but zero open world pvp with meaningful objectives has killed it for my guild. Wz are mini games not real pvp... Class balance is a joke... Wz tailored for specific classes.. Still tons of bugs (have to reset my ui every time I enter the new wz)... The only mmo I have ever played where tab targeting is rng... Pvp? Class>gear>skill. And last but not least georg zoelller should never ever ever... Ever... Be allowed to speak in public... The bloke is a half wit and if what he says is 100% true he has single handily ruined this game. When EA wants to know why their shares have lost 30% And swtor has 6 fanboys still playing look no further than GZ.

  10. As much as two knifes would be semi cool i.e. reminds me of my assassin in EQ2 I actually don't think it fits in with the Star Wars theme. I know that sounds a bit cheesy but I do want some immersion.. light sabers were seen as outdated in Star Wars (of course not in the skilled hands etc etc ) but two knives?? Yes.. Yes.. I know no one could go invis in Star Wars either but two knives?!?! Mmm... doesn't "feel" right.
  11. People... stop trying to reason with the OP with such benign things as logic, facts or maths. The OP has seen it with his very own eyes (Huttball nerf and teams of none force users dominating the nerfed Huittball) and has formulated his own opinion.. on that single basis he surely has to be right. For utter dumbness this thread ranks with "get rid of healers". I played Huttball twice last night and that was two times too many.

    I have NEVER said minimum. L2R. This thread is about Ops now - why the f*** are you talking about the game ages ago??????????? What an absolutely pointless paragraph you wrote. Until you provide logs your posts are anecdotal and wrong. I am guessing you will reply and there will be no logs.. no evidence.. Combat logs or nothing.

    Combat logs or it didn't happen. I WILL quote combat logs.. I took 1.4m damage last night. How much from Hidden Strike? 0.... nada.. none.... zilch... not a single hit. Why? Because it doesn't hit for anyway near what you claim, all concealment ops have gone heals. As proved previously with logs HS hits for (on average) 2.3k. No where near these 5k hits people reckon we do. Out of the 1.4m damage what was the biggest hitters? master Strike and Smash... both maxing at over 5k with 1200+ expertise. BW literally have no idea of how to balance this game and is religiously defended by blind fan boys.
  16. A decent player on an op can slightly help, that same player on any other class in Huttball will help a LOT. An Op does not have the utility to be any good in hb. We all know hb is a force users ego boost.. I think it was designed to make them feel skilled. I have seen two players.. one a 13k jug dominate a hb and win it for us 6-0 against a better than average team. The rest of us were spectators. If/when they allow us to choose specific wz, I will never ever select huttball again.
  17. I am going to assume you clearly have no idea how an Op works I am going to enlighten you. Pov? From beta until now. But clearly this thread is about 1,2. Not hard to work out. Once an Op has popped his regen cd's they are in power management mode, you can not do another full rotation. Your power is not on tap.. you are starved.. that is one of the big problems with Ops. if your regens are down and you blow a full rotation and you target is not nearly dead you then have to start usig rifle shot. Which averages 200. So unless you can PROVE with combat logs your anecdotes with zero evidence are merely the ramblings of some one with no clue on the ops conceal spec. If you think they are "fine" it's because you A. Haven't played one B. You are bad in pvp. No logs? Don't post. You'll just embarrass yourself.
  18. Utter drivel with zero combat logs to back up your pie in the sky thinking. I on the other hand do have combat logs and have proven that the dps on a Ops conceal has reduced dramatically. Our opening hit now averages around 2.3k, it has been nerfed so hard back stab nearly does as much damage but back stab has had a 33% cd nerf. As shown previously, an average opening rotation from an Ops concealment spec using all 105 power i.e. no regens, averages 8k damage. And that requires stealth, one positional and blowing this uber stun everyone is scared of. If you are losing to a an Ops now in 1v1 you seriously have no idea how to pvp. I am now heal spec and do not fear ops in the slightest, they are by far the easiest class to heal through. It;'s rare I even bother blowing any defensive cd's. Hots will heal through their dps. I actually do not know if it's funny or sad now the state of ops.
  19. Don;t get me wrong I am not slagging off Ops as healers it's more a case of how it feels when you want to play your Op but are forced to go healing due to concealment being broke. Sometimes you do feel useful e.g I was at a turret with 2 people trying to kill me.. this went on for ages.. probably 2 mins until they gave up.. in that time they didn't get the turret and didn't get me. I felt I made a difference.. what made it all the more amusing was they were guildies in TS at the time And here is the flipside... last night in voidstar I am in with one guildie.. we drop down to defend.. he goes left I stay centre - i am instantly targeted by 4. My guildie calls one inc... so I run around for a good 30s getting pummeled yet I manage to cling on... what happens? Right gets planted..... 3 v 6 and the 3 plants?!?!?!?!? I have played a healer in other mmo's and this is different.. you don't have the raw hps to stand and take a beating.. you have to be mobile use all your defenses at the exact right time.. manage power etc. And to the poster saying below 30% they are God like... you don't play on my server! If you get to 30% you are 4/5 times gonna die. I got stunned yesterday and two jedis both hit me for over 4k at the same time (with 1200+ expertise).

Played last night in Huttball.... stutter... stutter.... no damage to target from 15m from end line... *bam* they score.. next person .. knock them off ledge to pit below.... two of us on them by the wall/ledge before the line.. no damage.. no damage.. distract.. score. FROM BELOW THE GOAL LINE. ok... this is fun.. so not only is huttball a force users dream they are cheating too. So two wz later we're in a voidstar... same premade comes in - well at least they can't stutter no damage balls over the line I am thinking. But what they can do is cap the door invis. The guild was reported. Will BW do anything?? Who knows but what is the freaking point in having rated wz when people can just blatantly cheat to gear up faster and then no doubt blatantly cheat in wz?!?!
  21. Is it strategic? No where near like being offensive. You spend very little invis.. You have to stay mobile or you stand out as the healer. It's "ok". A couple of things I find frustrating... People will stand fighting clearly getting smashed yet they do nothing to defend themselves so you waste a lot of time on one person sometimes. If you get killed you can't go back and get revenge!! Any decent duo will smash you... One will stun you and you know if you break it the other will instantly stun you again and melt you. So you have to try and stay mobile and away from people. 1v1 you will be fine. But as soon as they know you are the healer you will be targeted relentlessly. And if you are in a pug expectno guard or any help when targeted. It is not uncommon to take 300k of damage in a wz. But I didn't want to be a healer... So just surviving is no fun to me I want to be offensive. My verdict is if you want to be a healer it's pretty good if you feel you have no choice as concealment is so poor now I dont think it will keep you amused for veryl long. If BW don't fix the class very soon I won't be staying around one the other new mmo comes out.
  22. A major issue for me is if you log a ticket with Bioware you simply get an automated reply asking you to come to the forums and put forward your thoughts. So you do just that and there is ZERO response from BW on these forums. There is / are major issues with Ops.. has BW come here and even said "we are aware" to give us hope.. or even "working as intended" so at least we know not to hold out any hope. Nope. And for me I just don't know if I can be bothered to hold out in the hope they might do something. A certain new mmo that is coming will not be too soon.
  23. 2-3 gcd's... an ops average biggest hit is 2.3k (previously demonstrated with combat logs) So lets assume you are hit with 4 ca's + bleeds. and you died.. means you are running less then 8k health, Multiple stunlocks? They have one. see other threads. Post combat logs or we can pretty well assume you are either A. Trolling B. Lying C. Very... very bad at pvp. I'll say it again.... concealment is a redundant spec now. Nerfed to oblivion and only the absolute worst of the worst die to them.
  24. Just thought I'd share my experience on those not too sure what to choose. Background.. I am full BM with 2 pieces of WH (augmented).. rocking just over 1200 expertise. Pre 1.2 I just got full BM gear. I felt useful.. I isolated people and took them down. Solo kills in wz were normally 2-4 kills. Even in huttball - which I detest - I felt I could make a contribution. 8/10 wz I would get my 5k medal. Post 1.2 that all changed. I don't want to go into specifics but I started hitting like a wet noodle (with upgraded expertise BM gear). I think it took two weeks to get a solo kill. 5k medals??? A distant memory. The list went on.. an age to get into stealth... randomly popping out of stealth.. it felt like people could see me from absolutely miles away... HS didn't seem to knock people down anymore... I run out of power sooo fast. So I decided to go medic.. I ended up on 31-3-7. Ok maybe not the best but it gave me what I wanted. It is a very mobile healer.. I no longer have to bank on stealth continually.. it has it's downside.. 2min cc breaker means anyone worth their salt will just team up with one other and take you down... TA's all blown? You're in trouble. But I have to say it "feels" like a proper healer. You have to manage how you play not to burn all your energy.. you MUST keep flash bang available and cloaking screen. I now normally hit 350-400k heals and 100-150k damage.. it's not uncommon not to die in a wz.. The biggest disappointment? I have absolutely no problem with Ops.. none. They are laughingly easy to heal through. I have hots on me and just wait out that 4s stun. Then I know the damage will tail off badly. I run with another Op healer and we were talking about it last night and we can not name a single Op/Scoundrel we are scared of 1v1. (and we are on the busiest euro pvp server) And that is the biggest issue I have... I am forced to play a healer when I rolled for dps.
  25. To the OP... you are wrong. very wrong. As others have said Ops have one stun... Read that again.. one stun. It lasts 4 seconds. If you are dying in 4 seconds you have less than 8k hp. Concealment spec is now redundant in pvp as it is an utter joke. The ONLY way it is any good now is the Op seriously out gears the other player.. the other players defensive cd's are down.... the other player' is rocking 115 expertise and the Op roids up on and manages to crit and luck out on most attacks. A common practice now for concealment spec is to go looking for the target with less than 13k health.
