  1. I'm looking foward to it. I dont care if i have to change my name, whatever. I just want stop seeing tumbleweed on the fleet and be able to find an active guild/group of players with similar in game interests.
  2. it would be less popular if there was anything else to do on dead servers.
  3. just my own experience. in wow when i queued as a tank/dps i was chosen as a tank. when i queued as a healer/dps i was chosen as a healer. 100% of the time. i dont really see any reason that the population trends would be any different here. i guess the possibility exists and maybe this games population is more balanced than warcrafts was, but i doubt it.
  4. that is a bad example, because if you que as a healer and a dps, you will be chosen as a healer.
  5. if you're worried you could always wait till paid transfers since you only log on to play with each other anyway.
  6. i dont really enjoy space missions. i would much prefer a jtl style update. do i do space missions? of course. why? well.. theres the crafting materials you can get from comms, and the fact that there is nothing else to do atm.
  7. i was really hoping bioware wouldnt adopt blizzards policy of nerfing based on pvp qq. /sigh.
  8. i was originally against x server anything. ive changed my mind. and hey mr. erickson, i think its about time to start considering some of those last resorts before its too late.
  9. players just need choices. i dont mean dialogue choices, i mean choices on how they want to play the game. its why they have walls around sandboxes. to be able to decide how you play, what you do, within a greater boundary, and not play a 'game on rails'.
  10. character attachment to me always has revolved around how much i enjoy playing said character, and really never had anything to do with aesthetics. therefore, at this moment, i am quite attached to my swtor toon, and completely not attached to the many wow toons i still have cause i got baited into the annual pass.
  11. @op i pvp level pretty much, eventually going back and doing class quests, or questing on the few planets i still enjoy, but i always go back just before i outlevel actually getting exp from the quests. so you'll see me 4 or 5 levels above the suggested level for the planets. there are alot of players that do this. add in space missions, and you can be way up on levels.
  12. while i do think ranked warzones will be a good thing, i would prefer they are done right, rather than released early to appease a bunch of whiners. i also highly doubt there are 400,000 subscribers hanging on just waiting to not get ranked warzones in 1.3 before they unsub.
  13. because of what legacy was supposed to be and what it turned out to be. all it is now is a credit sink for buying convenience items.
  14. as much as i enjoy swtor and have every intention of continuing to subscribe, if they went f2p i would quit, immediately.
  15. you do know that appealing to bw on these forums is pointless right?
  16. i think their understanding of how we as gamers differentiate between casual players and hardcore players is pretty off. i think what they meant by casual was "oh, maybe ill give this game a try, whatever." not exactly what we term as a casual player.
  17. i think its a good change. if you win 3 in a row, you're done. no more doing 12 warzones just to finish 1 daily quest. i really dont see a negative.
  18. there really is no denying that marauders are over the top right now.. well you can deny it but everyone knows the truth. id like to see them nerfed into the ground so the only ones that still play marauders are the ones who didnt fotm reroll, and then bring them back up. i really think the reason for such and outrage over how strong they are is because of how many there are. or, alternatively, bioware could overbuff a low pop class to get all the fotmers to reroll that class before bringing it back to normal. lol.
  19. i have no problem with good players being good, my problem is when a class creates 'good' players simply because its strong. id be perfectly ok with marauder being just as stong as it is right now if it took just a teeny bit of pvp-ish talent.
  20. id like the space combat, a little more sandbox, but veto on player housing unless its done like eq2.
  21. i dont think the legacy system was a failure. the only part about it i dont like is how we were able to level up our legacy levels to the point that it didnt matter what level we were before the system was in place.
