most? i think you're overestimating the pull that funcom has. but yea, one weekend isnt gonna give them much info. just move us. and please, dont take the last 7 empty pve west servers and create a half assed semi populated server of pissed people just waiting around for paid transfers.

im hoping the last 7 dont get mashed together into a standard pop server full of people pissed about it and just waiting for paid transfers off. that would suck.

i certainly do not think that casual players ruined any community. if anything, they make it better. there is nothing like asking a question and getting a polite answer instead of 'l2p n00b'.

i hope we dont all just get blobbed together into a group of 7 dead servers. it'll just be a bunch of people waiting around to transfer off. kinda like now.

so im guessing whats going to happen is the remaining few us west pve servers are going to be lumped together into a pile of dead servers. heres to looking forward to paid transfers!

QQunsubWTF!!! seriously though, it would be nice to know where and if the rest of us are getting the opportunity to transfer. im like 99.99% sure they have their list all done anyway.

i think most people have just chalked ilum up as a failure and a lost cause.

id like server forums, provided they arent just another forum patrolled by kindergarten cops who only allow guided conversations.

they could have made it so any chars below say level 10 or any inactive accounts can't block someone from their name. heck, eq did that like 8 years ago.

one thing worries me, and that is this: sending all the really low pop servers to servers with already healthy populations is great. what im concerned about is what they do with the slightly less low pop servers. its easy to take an already solid server and make it better, but when they run out of already successful servers are they just going to lump the remaining dead servers together? it may or may not work, but im a little concerned that we will end up with a bunch of good servers, and 1 red headed step child where everyone is just waiting for paid transfers to get out. it may unfounded, i hope it is.

queues go away, im sure theres extra people on tonight simply because of the xfers. i dont see any queues up that are more than 10 minutes atm.

i remember when everquest did their first round of server merges. in the case of name controversy, the character with the most /played time got to keep their name.

wow. the only thing this video makes me think of is how fast id get fired if i sucked that bad at my job.

i havent played wow since i was invited to swtor beta in september of last year. ive logged on once or twice but never for very long and definitely nothing i would consider playing. swtor helped me quit wow, and i will never go back. if swtor doesnt work out for me, maybe i can finally quit mmos completely after having played them since eq was released.

at this point, i kind of agree with the op. take em down, and just fix ****. all of it. from my own perspective anyway, this is a great idea. its not like i do anything but space missions anymore. my guild is MIA, as is most of the rest of the server. also, yes i realize this is just my situation and opinion, and its not realistic to expect bioware to cater to me when there are healthy active servers out there and many many players who actually do have fun playing at the moment. but hey, having dreams is what makes life tolerable right?

remember, just because you dont mind playing swtor as a single player game doesnt mean everyone likes it. dailies and space missions stopped being tolerable a few months back. for me at least. server populations might not be that important, servers dont need to be jam packed with players to be healthy. they do need some players though.

im guessing the day after i finally decide enough is enough. it would seem fitting.

since this is just the trailer, i dont think it warrants a number on how 'epic' it is. its an ok trailer. the actual event though, has a chance at being epic.

i certainly hope they are quick about this. paying to not play is just not working out for me.

is bioware sending out emails when your server becomes eligible for transfers? ive just kinda been hanging out waiting for a transfer, and now since i really have no idea when ill get one, id just assume be notified by email so i dont have to keep coming here.
