  1. I guess I wonder why the rated teams on my server with the best records are not stacked with Maras and Pts then ... maybe because DPS numbers don't win matches?
  2. You also have to account for the price of moving the mods. Either way you have to buy the original War Hero gear for the mods. So you could add an augment to that for around 75-100k. So I guess it would come down to which is cheaper the MK-6 kit + 30k, or the cost of moving all your mods to the already augmented piece + the price of the orange armor.
  3. Um ... I didn't send any requests to any devs to make any changes in this game, and believe it or not I don't think the devs give a crap what my opinion on this matter is. I have played enough PvP games to know that the StunWars are not making this game more dynamic or less boring lol. I would be happy to have Illum and adrenals back to. I just think BW could have done a MUCH better job with the CC and roots in this game.
  4. A troll is someone who spends time on internet forums responding to things with comments like "weak sauce". How exactly does anyone do enough PvP in this game to get War Hero gear and never experience other classes, or for that matter see who is at the top of the DPS charts when they are done?
  5. The point was before 1.3 you couldn't augment your gear, so if you wanted augmented gear you had to get it crit crafted and pay to move all your mods from your regular War Hero pieces. After 1.3 it is kind of useless unless you want to look a specific way.
  6. To be fair I think people are used to pretty much every other game where anything used to "control a crowd" is considered "crowd control". I get it BW has their own weird version where making it so someone can't move in anyway is not "crowd control" but you can't blame people for not realizing a game the copied most of the rest of the concepts has this one so far off from what most other games do.
  7. In organized ranked none of this is a problem, this is a problem in normal WZ where you are not communicating and have no control over where the other people are or what they do. Of course in a ranked WZ when I am on mumble or vent I can simply have someone there to pass to. That is why I said that if you can't even walk 5 meters without relying on certain other classes to play their part huttball shouldn't be part of the PUG WZ's, I think it is fine in ranked when you can plan for it.

  9. If you are only seeing PT's and Mara's top the DPS charts you are either A) a Troll that never really PvPs and just complains on the forum or B) are on a server with horrible players

  11. Ok well if my break shouldn't even allow me a step before not being able to move again then what is the point? In my opinion if I can make it across the map with the ball and I save my break for that one fire trap and even use it as right when I am stopped it should be useful enough to get me a step or two or what is the point of it even being there? Yes in 10% of matches there is someone else to throw the ball to, in the 90% that there isn't I should just ground the ball, because if there was a proper jump around and run through fire traps ball carrier I wouldn't have to have the ball? I'm all for some people being able to carry the ball better but if you have one break on a cool down and you save the thing for one five meter patch it should at least be useful enough to get you 5 meters. Otherwise what we are saying is that some classes are spectacular at carrying the ball and others should avoid it at all costs, which if that is the case they should take huttball out of the pug rotation.
  12. So what you are saying is that only a few select classes in this game should ever run with the huttball? So what do you do when there is no one in front of you and they throw you the ball? Ground it if there is no one near you every time? If you can't jump up to the enemy line from the pit there is no way to the goal without going across the fire. If there is no one in front of you on your team you should do what exactly? I don't have any speed, jump or immunity and one break that I can be rooted within half a second of using. I realize there are classes that will be better at running the ball but it should not be set that only some should ever even attempt it. If you don't have those classes in your Pug do you just drop the group? I'm sorry but if there is a 5 meter section of fire and I use my one and only CC break in the middle of it I should AT LEAST get the other 2.5 meters before I am frozen in place again.
  13. CC and immunity to it in this game are working perfectly and they were horrible in every other PvP game that has ever been put out, including the ones with notably better PvP. Better?
  14. Because they are by far the most powerful and game changing addition to a WZ that not being able to track them would basically make it so the team with the most healers wins every single time. I'm not saying it is far from that now, but it would be 100% more healers = win without a way to track them. People in PvP die far too fast in this game without healers and with good ones can live far too long. A competent group of healers can make people almost unkillable, and with the amount of WZ with 4+ healers in them the ONLY chance of stopping this is to break people apart and have someone on each healer shutting them down. I have been in plenty of matches with 5 people that can put out a lot of heals, some of them might have been heal/dps hybrids but once they are start healing there is no way to stop it without being able to properly focus. The way this game is setup you can't properly focus on 4+ healers without marking them. Otherwise the game would become 6 healers and two tanks win everything.

Great so you call it out in chat and you have 8 enemies flying across the screen, jumping back in forth, popping in and out of stealth, then you are grabbed and pulled around the screen while watching 16 people some with HUGE titles trying to figure out who is who, getting slowed against people with speed abilities. How on Earth are you going to keep track of 4+ healers in a system like that?
  16. This game is more absurd than any other PvP game I have played when it comes to CC. I can't for the life of me understand how a root is not CC either. Stun and the entire other team can literally kill you before the stun wears off and no amount of damage breaks it? Really? In huttball If I have the ball I can step on a fire area, stun full resolve, break it and 99.9% of the time I am rooted again before literally one step and get caught in the fire. My CC break is almost completely useless because the second you use it you are rooted. Not to mention almost every class has a slow on some spammed ability. With full resolve I am still not able to move a huge amount of time, yet I can try to grapple people without full resolve and have it work maybe 20% of the time.
  17. Healers are by far the biggest game changers in PvP. They should be marked because otherwise this game would get pointless real quick. With the absurd amount of people being pulled, jumping across the screen, stealthing in a fight, CC, roots, very fast deaths, ridiculous titles and not a very good system of telling who is who on a battlefield, marking is almost necessary in this game to keep track of targets. It can become near impossible to keep track of your own healers in a PvP match without marking them. If this was like other MMO's where you were not constantly CC'd or thrown across the screen and people didn't die every two seconds I could understand it, but in this game marking is something that needs to be here because otherwise it is near impossible to keep track of more than one focused target.
  18. Once you have capped snow or grass there is a direct speeder that goes right to that point. I should add for the team that capped only.
  19. So far legacy has been one of the biggest letdowns of the game for me. Great I can do all this work so that I can level in to something that does nothing for me other than open up another endless credit sink. I have played these games for over a decade and I have never had as many problems with credits as I do in this game.
  20. Voidstar is way more equivilant to a race than a scored sport, time wins not points. They say the fastest one wins not the ones with the most points. What is another thing that the person who finishes a certain set of objectives based on time and speed .... oh yea .. a RACE. 1. There is plenty of room to put a score if it was a score, they put one in huttball, they display the "life" left in all the other WZ why would this one be so different? 2. There is no score you just want it to be a score so you can feel 0-0 is a tie and not two teams failing completely. This is a matter of achieving objectives in a certain amount of time .. it is a race if anything. An equivilant would be a NASCAR race where not one single car made it to the finish line. They don't say we all tied 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 lets split the money or pretend none of us lost. 3. The map indicates how many objectives you achieved, like in a race how many which lap you are on
  21. Basically I would agree with you but then we would both be wrong. I guess if you feel like not planting a single bomb but stopping the other team from doing so equals some type of draw or victory then feel free to think that way. The way I look at it is that you have two teams which both completely failed to understand the point of Voidstar. To make it simple BW thinks that doing this is worth just as much chance of a loss as a win.
  22. What about relics? Now that the WH has 113 Shield/Def is that worth giving up the power for? Since those are basically direct tradeoffs. 113 Def/Shield for 226 power. I believe the other stats are the same? I know the one relic in all DPS gear except a shield adds over 4% defense chance alone.
  23. Defense does come in to play, but only when you have achieved at least one objective. I am against the random player winning, but I also am of the opinion that anything other than a loss when you didn't do a single objective is a reward Yes and your one and only goal in Voidstar is to overcome the defense and plant a bomb, you do this or fail. The other team is doing their job by defending, but unless they also plant a bomb their defense makes no difference towards accomplishing the objective of the WZ. No one is saying defending doesn't have a place in Voidstar, I am saying it isn't an objective. Once you have failed all of your objectives in this WZ defense is your only hope at what? Having both of you fail at the objectives? What you are describing is two teams that failed to have a team makeup and strategy for Voidstar. IMO the second team should fight to plant a bomb so they don't lose points and the original team should lose some no matter what the outcome of the second team. So you are saying if you stop the other team from planting your "score" goes to 1-0 because you accomplished an objective of defending? If not you didn't get an objective point you might have got defender points that relate to medals but nothing relating to objectives The game may say 6-2 at the end, but if it was a score it would be displayed on the screen like in every other single warzone. If it was really ending with a score of 0-0 then there would be a scoreboard like in huttball where it says 0-0. That is nothing more than a display to show how many objectives you did, not a score. Simply put you already said it, calling defending a success would not change the winner because the only objective in this match that matters is getting to the datacore or as close as you can to it. No, you should have a strategy that allows you to both plant bombs and defend them from planting them as quickly as you did. If your team is stacked on the defense to the point that you plant no bombs then you deserve a loss as your team was made poorly for the warzone you were in. That is the entire point of rated PvP that the teams that have the right makeup and strategy and perform the best win.
  24. I agree with that it would never fly around here lol. I'm just waiting for someone to give me a good argument why they should enter a rated PvP WZ with only one objective, fail to do that single objective and leave with anything but a loss.
