Mm, yes you can. You'd have to filter through 50 posts, all complaints, to find the one post that is actually a valid complaint. It's easy to write off every complaint as being nitpicking from your typical self-entitled brat, and much easier to apologize for jumping the gun when the complaint actually turns out to have merit.

I fail to see how that's any more shameless than a camera zooming in on someone holding an iPhone, and then panning around to show the Mercedes logo on the hood of their car. As well (as you say, I don't watch NCIS so I wouldn't know) Skyrim was mentioned. If taken in context, Skyrim is a single player only game, right? So, the character saying "they are both online games right?" renders it somewhat redundant.

Would that not be the sound of speeders flying around? You say you can hear it pretty loud in Fleet, which is one of the biggest areas for speeders to congregate in.

Would be, I agree, and I enjoyed the achievements when I played RIFT. However, I disagree that the game "needs" them "bad". Unlocking Codex entries grants bonus and titles that, due to incompetence, aren't even awarded. An achievement system would only follow suit. Achievements will also inevitably become ridiculous, and have requirements that serve nothing else than to make you grind, which some people (not including myself, the grinding doesn't bug me) already seem to take issue with. Do you really want to go kill 50,000 womp rats just for a title that won't actually get awarded?

You mean like the sound, flash and announcement when you hit a new level? Achievements are a cosmetic novelty. Fun, yes. Essential? No.
