  1. I dont understand the the lightsaber weapon choice for gree event, pls explain the difference of this weapon from any other lightsaber in game. The only visible graphic during game play is from color crystals correct? So is the point of obtaining a gree event lightsaber for when someone inspects your gear? Maybe a color crystal thats lightsaber class specific would be more motivation or excitement for the helix's and use/aquiring?
  2. The new space combat missions are confusing me I guess, am I suppose to be trying to fight the controls from someone for my own spaceship on this rail bound flight? Ya I get the whole rails thing, but these new missions I just can't seem to shoot and target with my mouse, and also use my character control keybinds for left/right/up(forward)/down(backword) to control my ship from flying straight into every other object infront of me. They work against eachother and Im wondering if my game has a glitch because I just cant see this as game developers intentions to program a game were moving your targeting mouse also controls your movement of your character in direction of mouse movements, while needing to move your targeting device/weapon at different locations of the screen opposite of your desired pathway of your character. I move to avoid an astroid with my keybinds to the right while needing to target an object above me, wich then moves my spaceship upwards towards mouse movent and I hit another astroid. Not sure if im explaining this correctly, because its hard to explain something that doesnt make sense to begin with
  3. So what happened to the sticky that asked this question of us here on these forums? So guess what planet they chose after all the great posts you posted in response? None. They made up an entirely new planet that has never been mentioned in star wars lore previously. It's fine to go this route, but to manipulate or decieve players and get them excited in anticipation of soon being able to explore a world they have been familiar with for years is just exactly what EA has come to be synomonous with. Yet again EA leaves thier customers feeling misinformed and purposely mislead. At this point I'm just sad watching just how a superior game that you can tell the developers and programmers put thier hearts into and has so much potential, being just completely ruined by missmanagement and some of the absolute worst displays of corporate ineptitude, and who gets the shaft? Not the suits at the top, nope, once again its the common employee who had to suffer the reprecussions. Lay off the people running this great game into the ground, the people who are calling the decisions and making repeated mistakes that any employee in a lesser position would have been let go long ago for.
  4. This is the question bioware will not answer and avoids at all costs, every (now biweekly) ask the dev's session this is skirted and/or simply ignored. The reason being? YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY TO GO TO THE SERVER OF YOUR CHOICE, THE FREE XFERS WILL BE TO A LIMITED LIST DESIGNATED BY BIOWARE. So you will have to hand over even more money after purchasing initialy, and x-amount of months of sub paymnets, to simply play the game as it was designed....a massive multi player online game. I have 10days left after the generous one month free from bioware (and i say generous without sarcasm, this was something I give bioware 100% credit for doing and two thumbs up for), I seriously doubt I will resub because why? Paying for d3, and then paying for guildwars 2 leave me little spending money to basicaly throw away on a game i only log onto to now once a week to only be reminded "oh ya theres 30 people on fleet right now, I cant do sh**)
  5. So after a short search on forums and webiste, I am unable to find any posts by bioware for a list of /commands the game uses and other default keybinds not listed in the preferences sub menu (such as reloading the ui is control+U twice). Where is information like this hidden and why is there not a sticky for basic controls/commands such as these? This extends to patch's now too, only a brief explanation of changes is posted in patch notes and players are left to figure out on thier own how the basic mechanics of the game work, I'm thinking of the orange crafting crit gear and transferring set bonus' and what can and what cannot be done. I still hear different theories on this subject, some say only one augmented piece can be used, some say all oranges can have set bonus' xferred to them so long as it is pvp set bonus' being xferred to them, some say only post 1.2 gear can have set bonus' xferred (wich was finaly acknowledged by bioware after thier initial post of stating how now you can xfer set bonus to crafted gear....again vague details given and needing cleared up later).....and were is the detailed sticky of a full explanation to be found? so when are the dev's of this game going to get thier act together and present this game in a more professional manner to thier customers? These are basics that any independant company even knows the importance of. Clarity on how the game functions and detailed information on changes made to game are basic customer service/support and P.R. You need to communicate ALOT better to your subs, it's embarassing really. If it has been fully explained, and it may have been, why can I not find it easily on thier own website and forums? The point is the information is not easily and readily accessable by the consumer.
  6. With the continued down time to servers every other day, I and many others are given some time to reflect and vocalize our displeasure that would otherwise go unheard. Keep up the down times and give more people an opportunity to voice thier complaints about the game, solid strat for sure, win win.
  7. So gamebreaking item noone cant deal with for a week? I've dealt with a few months of not being able to play content due to bioware's failing to cosolidate servers, didn't break the game for me and I was able to work around it. A week, datacron matrix cubes, gamebreaking item, BIG PROBLEM, LOL. People cant do thier dailies without that cube? I bet top guilds couldnt progress in HM denova this week because of matrix cube since its an item needed? Gamebreaking I cant do my dailies without a relic slot
  8. you may not care about the server down time, but a lot of people do.... see what I did there?
  9. datacron matrix cubes? What's the stats on those again anyways? Gamebreaking, truly gamebreaking item. This is the comedy I come to the forums for, ty so very much for the good laugh
  10. break it down to basics the carrot on the stick there is no carrot on the end of the stick here at end game. there are few choices to even concern yourself with gearing endgame, if any at all. The amount of content once you hit 50 is redundant in a matter of days, save for the raid lockout wich forces you to come back another week or two to fully experience it. Anyone who games knows there is HUGE void at endgame here, forget for one second the IP and pretend this was a noname title......even a blind man could see the non existence of content
  11. the game is great as play through one time experience. as far as mmo and long term playability, you have to be truly ignorant of reality to argue this game has it. List all the content for endgame players below please. There simply is nothing besides a handful of dailies, 3 raids - one of wich is pretty much for children with downs (EV), one wich is I must say pretty good and fabricator fight was original, and the 3rd is the exact repeat of "the sunwell" from WoW - few guilds raiding it and over tuned for the sake of being over tuned. Now you can also play huttball nonstop with the occasional alderan, nova, and void star. And? well that's it isnt it? Alts? ya cool for the first one to 50, then? If this amount of content keeps your mind stimulated and intrigued enough to log in regularly, well more power to you, keep chasing your own tail in circles and enjoy yourself. I actualy kinda envy the simple minded sometimes.
  12. For me it's simple, I log in and there's nothing to do. Warzones are comprised of the same individuals in the same 4 man teams if you choose to pvp, gets old after the first week playing the same 5 to 10 teams over and over. PVE? non existent as far as operations go and lvling alts for flashpoints. Yes it's great bioware has server xfers coming, but I am not going to pay them a monthly fee to sit around and wait for it be implemented, who in thier right mind would when what I have stated is my game play experience? Had this game had the endgame content to keep players busy besides the same wz's over and over, and had they compressed server populations after the initial launch boom population had burst, this game would have been a true hit. Over all the game is really good, but the aforementioned problems leave me one choice, to unsub.
  13. Man I envy you being able to get 4 to do torvix, on my server at peek hours this friday, there was 3 people in the new blackhole area for dailies. No f-ing joke, 3 people........servers are fine and healthy....yup...../wave goodbye to the diehard's.......sometimes I wish I could be fooled easily too....sometimes
  14. I've met alot of real cool people here and I think we are all surprised we are leaving this soon into the game's launch, we tried to be the stubborn ones and stick it out and believe the game's problems were due to it being a new game. There is simply nothing to do when loggin in now, a guild of over 100+ people and only 14 log on to a server whose peek times boasts 60 people on fleet. Had they compressed the population of servers once the initial boom of launch poplulation came down to its true population, we wouldnt be leaving. Thank you bioware for the free month and allowing us a chance to make sure we were making the right choice, I would of been bitter had I actualy paid for this last month of logging into to do nothing, but ty again for the free month
