  1. Really appreciate the post friend. Think I'm gonna play a little AP and try it out in pvp. I do love and will miss JC a lot. But I think that will be lessened by the new HO talent come 3.0. Thanks again for everyone's comments.
  2. Interesting. I've never played much of Advanced Prototype to be honest because it seemed like a less spec compared to one with ticking dots. But then again i definitely don't know any better. AP may be something I have to try out as well.
  3. Title says it all and time for a short story. I used the 12x exp boost to finish leveling my PT to 55 and immediately fell in love with the AC. It's the class I want to take to 55 and eventually gear out for pvp. I've been ST for a while now and am starting to get some pvp gear and understand more of a ST role in a warzone. You may say that I just haven't practiced it enough yet and that I need to L2P and get better gear, and your absolutely right. I'm new and still learning and am probably very horrible compared to the vets of the AC. But that is just my point. If Pyro (which is still a lot of fun) Is going to be the best option for pvp in 3.0 I would like to start practicing it now. I should tell you that most of my pvp will be solo as well. So How are PT's looking for you in 3.0 so far? Do you prefer ST or Pyro when by yourself? What's your opinion on there state post 3.0? Speculation of other class changes aside. Thanks for listening everyone! And look forward to hearing your opinions/answers.
  4. I'll keep playing ST until I get more info. I love both Pyro and ST and want to practice with one before the changes hit. But I guess it's a moot point atm.
  5. That's a good point. I suppose it will also depend how Jugs change in 3.0. Maybe I should start practicing Pyro now though just in case.
  6. Hrmmmm I'm a fresh 55 and have been loving Shield Tech for pvp. But AP sounds like it may be amazing come 3.0 Someone have any thoughts on how ST will hold up in pvp post 3.0?
  7. Well Thx guys. I may just get my Merc to 55 and judge the PvP for myself. Thx for the input and if anyone has anymore I'd love to hear it!
  8. This do to there lack of glow sticks or lack of strength?
  9. Title says it all. I've been loving my Merc while leveling so far but am concerned that there PvP at 55 will be lackluster. Any input from pro Merc players on how they're currently fairing?
  10. Hrmmm interesting. So there pvp is good at endgame then?
  11. Tile says it all. Having a ton of fun with both classes but would love some input on which ones you guys prefer for endgame pvp. Or which you enjoy more. Thx guys!
  12. Bet it's nice to be on a server that gives you that option. As it stands now if I were to break my leg on the imperial fleet I would die before someone would notice and rescue me. But keep talking about your new modern day science sport. I'd love to hear more.
  13. I"m Currently on a server where there is 2 guilds that run premade PvP groups and neither are looking for other members for pvp. (I've asked trust me) When they run a group if your in a pug at the time you don't win. PERIOD. Pugs can try to coordinate all they want on chat, but that still will not compare to the coordination of a premade not including there superior class composition (You ever joined a pug with no healer against a premade with one? One guess how it turns out.) Yet again I love the idea of premades and think they're a great and needed thing for MMO games. But sadly the more this game dies and the more Bioware does nothing to fix it the more and more this will turn into a constant premade versus pug scenario. Again, Premades are not the problem! It's the small population servers that have no choice to play against them over and over and over again. (More and more servers are becoming these every day) I can only imagine the new people just getting to 50 in recruit gear trying to farm gear to be gaining only 40 to 50 Commendations a match as well as losing almost every single game. Bet they're having fun......
  14. Exactly this. I"m Currently on a server where there is 2 guilds that run premade PvP groups and neither are looking for other members for pvp. Pugs can try to coordinate all they want on chat, but that still will not compare to the coordination of a premade not including there superior class composition. (You ever joined a pug with no healer against a premade with at least 3? One guess how it turns out.) Yet again I love the idea of premades and think they're a great and needed thing for MMO games. But sadly the more this game dies and the more Bioware does nothing to fix it the more and more this will turn into a constant premade versus pug scenario. 15. LMAO! A sniper nerf thread, Now I've seen everything. I'm sorry friend but unless your a level 50 with 0 Expertise you should have no trouble fighting and killing snipers. I play a Commando witch has been hit hard by many nerfs recently and I absolutely destroy them 90% of the time. I have fought some skilled Leth ones though that can put up a great fight.
