  3. You do know that reusables are not being buffed and will eventually be replaced by better items that are no reusable, right? You also know that for min/maxing that Rakata is worse than Exotech which anyone can use?
  4. Guard doesn't work well in PvP unless the tank wants to die really fast.
  5. What does 'produces an additional unit on a crit' mean? Does that mean you will get two implants instead of one if you crit or does additional unit = augment slot?

  7. So what do we know about Biochem? 1. At one time it was the best Crew Skill bar none (no argument there) 2. Rakata Reusables were nerfed and Exotech (or the other blue ones) were buffed to be better than Rakata reusables 3. Bioware announced that new Reusables would no longer be offered in Biochem and current reusables would eventually disappear as newer more powerful Biochem consumables (stims/adrenals/medpacs) replaced them 4. Medpacks will only be usable once while in combat 5. **Rumour** - Biochem Implants will no longer have augment slots???? So 4 & 5 are new. Medpacks usuable only once in combat makes nerfing or getting rid of reusables arbitrary now but also hurts Biochem even more because the demand for medpacs from Biochem will go way down. Implants won't have Augment slots? ***? Is this just new implants or will augment slots be removed from existing implants as well? Comments?
  8. Who is the better tank for Foreman Crusher Nightmare? Jugg or Assassin? We usually use a Jugg because Juggs are terrible for picking up the adds but that aside if there were no adds, which tank would be better? Juggs seem to have the better defensive cooldowns for his enrage, no?
  9. Don't forget that Darkness has slightly more survivability as well from talents and by recovering 12% of your health when you successfully cast Force Lightning.
  10. Thanks for the comparisons. I do have a question though about the methodology. Shouldn't the comparison also have similar if not the same test durations? The first test shows 1930 DPS in 9 secs while the others show much less DPS but over much longer durations. Is this not like comparing apples to oranges? I mean I can use use one ability that crits for 3k damage and the duration would only be 1.5 sec and technically that would be the highest DPS test. Should we not add another ~9 sec to the first test to see what the comparison is or did I miss something? Is this just a burst damage comparison? Edit: TheRagingPwner beat me to it!
  11. I agree with this. Guard uses the defense of the person you are guarding so the more undergeared the guard target is, the more damage the tank takes. I only guard for medals right now as I drop fast when the guarded target is DPS'd. Guard really needs to use the defensive stats of the tank and not the guard target.
  12. As what was said above, Electrocute is not part of your tanking rotation. It is a CC and not usable on bosses anyways. Generally there are two rotations for Assassin Tanking, one that includes Thrash and one that does not. There is still a debate on which one is 'better' however the Thrash-less rotation flows much easier. Basically Dark Ward>Shock>Wither>Shock> (to 3 stacks HD) Recklessness>Force Lightning>Saber Strike The Thrash version adds Thrash in the rotation to proc Energize so that your next Shock Crits however the downside is that it does Focus starve your rotation more while yuo are thrashing which then means you are not getting 3 charges of HD as fast which also means you are using Force Lightning less (Force Lighting heals you for 12% of your HP). At less than 30% you would prioritize Assassinate right after Dark Ward.

  14. What does interrupts have to do with your damage rotation? Assuming you are talking about PvE tanking with 31/0/10 Get 3 stacks of HD up by using Shock/Wither/Shock then use Force Lightning (with Recklessness when up).
  15. I just want to make sure that I understand. I use a Focus rather than a Shield Generator for Darkness PvP and I pretty much never use Dark Ward. This is correct right? Dark Ward does nothing without a shield equipped.
  16. What are the other classes that can debuff armor? Snipers can use Shatter Shot for 20% debuff. Others? I didn't realize that the armor debuffs stacked.
  17. Any comments on which relic would be better for a MM Sniper? I assume both cannot be used at the same time because they have similar functions.   18. Bioware, please fix Tab Targeting in this game. It is awful. Also, it is very hard to click on NPC or other faction players as you always have to be so precise. The click-able hitboxes need to be made slightly larger.
  19. You don't need a tank at high levels. Just you Lokin and you can kill anything.
  20. Still bugged for me too. I couldn't talk to Watcher Two but that was fixed a few months ago. Since then I have completed all my class quests EXCEPT for the Assassin's Fortress quest where you kill "The Eagle" on Tatooine. Every time I kill him, I am sent to use my ship's holo terminal and when I do, Watcher Two tells me to return to my ship and that they will cleanup from there. I am already on my ship. Resetting the quest does nothing for me. I have opened multiple tickets and the last ticket I received told me that maybe a future patch might fix it.

  23. Butt hurt? I'll be sure to jump the gap from now on with my Assassin.
  24. Snow and Grass work great in Civil War, regardless of the directions you are facing. Left and Right work great for Voidstar when referencing from your spawn point, regardless if you are attacking or defending.
