  1. Huge nerf to assassin tanking in PvE which looks like assassins may be the worst tank now. Also: Just unsubed.
  2. Mitigation is better than Endurance in almost all cases. Go Absorb.
  3. DoT's are there to keep stealther's from re-stealthing. That is one of the benefits of using a DoT on a class that can stealth. I see nothing wrong with this.
  4. Even if the adds are behind you, there is a good chance Discharge may beak cc because it is an AoE. If you don't want to break cc near you, skip Wither and Discharge and just use Shock and Thrash. Other options are moving the mobs that you are tanking away from the cc or moving the cc away from the mobs you are trying to tank. One trick you can do off the pull is pull the mob to be cc'd to you using your Force Grip, then someone can cc that while you continue to run in and pick up everything else.
  5. PvE: Tanks guard others (often melee) to reduce the guarded person's threat and damage. A tank should never be guarded as they would lose or have reduced threat. PvP: Tanks guard other players, usually healers or those that are being attacked to reduce their damage.
  6. Well it would be helpful if you provided more info like what class/spec your are, what gear and expertise your are at, etc.

  8. Please fix tab targeting. Even with "Auto Target Closest Enemy" turned on, it still has pretty bad AI.
  9. Bioware, could you add a Artiface Crit upgrade? As a Imperial Assassin that has Artifice, there is already a companion with Artifice efficiency but none with +crit to Artifice. +5 scav efficiency / + 5 cybertech crit +5 arch efficiency / +5 synthweaving crit +10 inv efficiency / +2 armstech crit +10 biochem efficiency / +2 diplomacy crit +10 artifice efficiency / +2 treasure crit +10 armor efficiency / +2 underworld crit
  10. Power has no diminishing returns like Crit and Surge do.
  11. There is no way that 4 additional augment slots beat the 2/4 pc bonus for a tank. No way.
  12. As darkness, does guard do anything when using a Focus and stalker gear?
  13. Is the Quesh +4 Endurance datacron bugged? I click both the east and west panels but the force field never drops on the south entrance to leave the room before the poison gas kills me. Edit - This datacron now requires 2 people to activate the east/west panels at the same time.

  16. Thanks. Is there a link that you could provide to show the comparison of willpower, power, crit, willpower, strength, etc. as far as damage/dps goes? Also I supposed these numbers may change depending on the the spec and the advanced class (assassin or sorc)?

  18. Never played Madness yet but interested in doing so soon. There is another thread stating that the following two Madness specs may put out more dps/damage than the standard Creeping Terror spec and may be even easier to play.   19. Doesn't 18 willpower give 18 power as well as crit?
  20. Power > Crit for Darkness however I don't recall if the FM lightsaber has accuracy on it or not. My plan was to get the Force-Master's focus and implants however it looks like you can only trade BM stalker gear for WH stalker gear and you can't choose something different.
