  1. If all they are looking to do is Story Mode, and early HM's he's fine. At that gear level, knowing your class abilities and rotation will be far more impactful then going from 334 to 340. Not to mention they already have 340, with the exception of relics and implants. Doing research on boss fights if doing anything past Story Mode would also be wise. I'd focus on getting your 2nd implant, just because set bonuses are important.
  2. your fine for starting Operations at that gear level. The Operations were all balanced around 320-330 item rating in 7.0. You'll be fine in 334.
  3. I don't know if they do this for PvP, but I know GSF gets 0 Blueprints. So for my playstyle (and I refuse to pug even simple sm Ops), I get none other then from the weeklies or using those Jawa Intel. For those that gladly pug Ops all day, blueprints won't be an issue. For me this means I actually have to pay attention on what character I pick those 8 up from the rewards track, because I don't want them on some unused alt unfortunately.
  4. Flattax is incapable of understanding that he is simply wrong, and refuses to believe those of us that tell him when he (or she) is wrong.
  5. lol. This is not monetized for what this discussion is about. You can't buy Blueprints whatsoever.
  6. You will need to use the 8 Jawa intel items from seasons rewards and farm mobs for an hour per to make up for the fact Broadsword didn't put in enough blueprints in the weeklies. It's foolish we need to go out of our way to complete that 1500 achievement in such a manner. Farming mobs or doing other activities we may not enjoy just for those. We should get enough just by doing the 7 weeklies alone. I know this has driven me to spend a lot less time doing season 6 then in previous seasons. A lot less time in Swtor in general.
  7. Felt fine to me. No issues getting multiple characters done with conquest in a very short amount of time. I could easily see getting 5-8 characters done in a day if I felt like putting in the effort.
  8. If you have the 150% SH bonus after tomorrow's patch every heroic will give you 5k conquest. They made the heroic conquest objective infinitely repeatable. Meaning doing all 4 Coruscant heroics is 20k, plus any points if you get the defeat enemies 1, & 2.
  9. This game is nothing like a grindfest MMO. Even with the nerf to the rep tokens getting conquest is so easy to do that it's not that much of a grind. I can think of 11 impside heroics that are quick and easy. Unless your actually trying to do conquest on massive amounts of characters it won't take that long. I don't play that much pubisde, but for any trooper or smuggler I can think of at least 7-8 easy ones, (take out 3 for jedi classes), and that is without remember 90% of the heroics on republic side. Try playing the old school sandbox MMO's and tell me those weren't a hundred times more grindy then Swtor is. I know SWG sure was, as is shadowbane, WoW, and I'm sure so many others.
  10. Your forgetting this from a few Months ago. https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20231011 I had the name wrong, and I apologize for that, but Rob Denton is definitely in a higher position.
  11. They do have someone different overlooking Keith now. If you remember correctly he was one of the original developers of Swtor. I forget the name of hand, but Denning or something similar rings a bell. How many are higher up then Keith is other then just that one person? Do any of us actually know?
  12. Just because you don't think it wasn't broken, doesn't mean they agree with you.
  13. oh. I'm not saying it should not have been in the patch notes. Far from it. All I was saying that just because BW was fine with it the way it was, doesn't mean the new Broadsword management was, and since 7.4.1 was one of the very first patches all it's own, they may have wanted to change it. It definitely should have been in the patch notes. There is no question about that.
  14. Different company, different Management now. Remember 7.4.1 was the first content that Broadsword has made, that was not already in progress already when the changeover happened.
  15. It's an MMO. Just because they designed it this way yesterday, they have the right to change it tomorrow. MMO's change all the time. If you ever looked at class balance in WoW it was done every few months. One class would be OP, then ground into the dirt, and most people that played that class would change to a different class and adapt. MMO's are all about adapting to change. We know things will change at a moments notice. And they were never going to put it back to the original value. If they felt it was to many points that it deserved a nerf, the best thing you could hope for was a compromise.
  16. Yep I had made a suggestion of raising the rep tokens up to 20k-25k. But the majority of people thought that was unreasonable.
  17. As a GSF player. If people go AFK in the matches they deserve 0 conquest points, 0 credit for the weekly, and 0 of any reward associated with it. If you want the rewards, you should be actively trying. I don't care if your not as skilled as others, but at least TRY. I would not be opposed to Broadsword making it so you needed so many medals in a match for someone to get credit for that match for the daily/weekly or conquest.
  18. Actually Dxun came out when 6.0 launch on 10/22/2019, but that is still just shy of 3 years from Dxun, to when R-4 came out on 8/2/2022.
  19. They already ticked off the Ops people. 4.0 had 0 Operations the entire expansion. Most raiders left during that time.
  20. I'd add black Box impside as well is fast. Skip the bonus and go to the tent. Very Fast.
  21. Star Wars really needs to just stop bringing dead characters back to life. If they die, they need to stay dead.
  22. Solo+ came out at the same time, and has always been far easier then Solo. With that being said you couldn't get the achievements doing it on Solo+.
  23. There are many things in this game I'll never be able to do for whatever reason. I understand my limitations. That doesn't mean what I can't do needs to be nerfed. If people are telling you the balance is fine, with some practice and work you can do it, that means it is possible (not counting specific disabilities). Content is not balanced around someone's disability, but on the average player. The average player that can do Vet Mode Operations or Master Mode Flashpoints (or a player looking to do either) can complete eternal championship.
  24. As you've seen people post. You can do it alone, it just does take understanding of your class (Rotation, and DCD's), a ranked up companion (ranged companion is a better option), and understanding of the mechanics of each fight. There are guides to help with the boss mechanics out there, or used to be anyway. It is not something you can just walk into and have your companion give you a free pass at for you to solo it. knowledge of the fights is the most important part of it, then rotation, and knowledge of DCD's so you know when to use what.
  25. For those doing the Eternal championship 1 bit of huge advice any of us can give. Don't use a melee companion as a healer. Use rdps/heal companions Shae is the best DPS, and a solid healer companion. Zo-om is decent at dps (below shae), but is best healer. If you don't have either of those companions use a ranged companion double blasters usually have higher dps, and decent healing.
