  1. You can still do it that way. I was looking at the bag/reward/upgrade method as a second way to get gear upgrades alongside trading in comms. Now I'm not even going to bother.
  2. I noticed that too when I made some spreadsheets about which stats were in which spots for each set of gear on the Rakata Vendor...at the entry level. Bounty Hunter / Trooper = Boltblaster armor. Accuracy is on Chest / Legs Agent / Smuggler = Rakata Targeter armor. Accuracy is on Helmet / Boots Warrior / Jedi Knight = Rakata Pummeler armor. Accuracy is on Gloves / Legs Inquisitor / Consular = Rakata Force Lord armor. Accuracy is on Helmet / Chest. As you get to Rakata 340, the skin changes, and I think the stats do as well. I'm working on that. Slowly.
  3. If that's RNG at the end of the path of all of those bag conversions, which of course it is because games LOVE RNG...it's completely not worth it.
  4. This would be a great idea. They could even do timed "training courses" similar to (WAY WAY back in the day) the original Star Wars Space games, X-Wing and TIE Fighter as part of this...for flight training. But please, please, build in flight stick support. My Saitek X-52 is literally gathering dust from the lack of Star Wars space games
  5. I'm not really sure I understand the bad feelings about the new bag / conversion system. I look at it as a way to move people away from the method below to doing group content to keep the queues popping. BUT...for the solo players...here's the breakdown: With enough lvl 80 alts doing conquest you can get 2-9 (depending on which gear you choose) pieces of rakata gear, from a VENDOR, each week. No bag / conversion math needed. 30 alts maxes it out each week. 2000 conquest coins = 175 OP-1 = 3x bracers / 3x belts / 2 of most everything else. 10 toons doing conquest = 2000 conquest coins. No groups needed. Takes, on average, an hour per toon.
  6. Yeah, there's a sniper rifle I picked up on both accounts today that I wouldn't have ordinarily paid for at full price.

  8. Yeah, there's been enough time to "let the server grow into its own" where it's "ready" to be just like every other server. A 200CC cost to transfer toons there is completely a good idea. How many people still want to, though?
  9. Speaking for myself... 1. I've never liked GSF. I'm sure it's gotten "better" since the beta period, when I tried it out, but honestly the fact that they didn't include flight stick support for a Spaceship based flight system has always annoyed me. The PVP only aspect of it also annoyed me, but w/o the built in flight stick support, I wasn't going to, and still won't, play, no matter what incentives they try to put out there. 2. Uprisings. I remember when these were supposed to be "flashpoints w/o the story" meant as group content that went by pretty quickly. Hammer Station takes less time and gets better rewards. Same with a few others. They'd have to significantly increase the rewards to make people run them, and I don't mean JUST more conquest points....actual drops/rewards.
  10. I wonder if unspent CC coins works the same way, at the accounting / balance sheet level, as unused vacation/pto does in (some) real world businesses....as "debt" that works against the company's "bottom line"
  11. So, what I take away from the change is this....and it caused me some concern at first too since I play across multiple servers and MANY alts. The ONLY People it will affect are those who log in a toon who has a conquest reward window pop up and DO NOT claim anything. Why you would do this in the first place, I have no idea. But it sounds like people, a few people, would do conquest then the next week NOT CLAIM rewards (closing the pop up window) and complete ANOTHER week of conquest, then the next week (week 3) have TWO sets of conquest rewards pending...ignore them as well...doing a THIRD conquest for that toon...and on week 4 getting THREE conquest reward windows. At that point the other part of the way the game works is 3 pending reward windows (of most types) means you can't start another mission. So...nothing that will affect the majority of players.
  12. I picked this up. Pushed my sub out to almost a year (next May). I do 6 months at a time anyway...so it balances out. Not sure what I'm going to use the Dyes for...they REALLY need to be fixed so they can stack. 5 of each for each toon??? Stacks are a must, and MUST go over 99 count.
  13. It would be really nice if the official forums were the TOP Priority about announcements like this. I understand there are other social media outlets that have substantial user interaction, but these forums have been the primary source of news for subscribers for over a decade.
  14. Any chance of making Hyde and Zeek unlocks on your Legacy instead of individual characters? It's not really a "change" since you can transfer mods via legacy gear. it's more a QOL change to make the same end result happen with fewer steps.
  15. I tried farming these last night for the first time. Not because I am hunting the achievement, but because of this thread, and another, elsewhere, that I'd seen earlier. I bought the buff from the vendor on fleet and used it on my Agent with Commando combat. 30 minutes on CZ198, solo (no companion), resetting the phase over and over again. I got about a dozen. Then I went to DK, just outside the Temple (where the last part of the DK story takes place) and farmed the mobs there. After 10 minutes w/o my companion, I summoned it and just did it that way. That second 30 minute period netted me about 30 blue prints (compared to the 12 or so on CZ farming rats). So...40 (or so) in an hour, just grinding mobs (and xp...got almost a full level doing that...72 to 73). I agree with everyone saying the drop rate needs to be higher for future instances of GS. Or just do something else instead.
