  1. I was kind of bored in all 3 episodes personally. Out of the 3, the last one was the best, but that isn't saying much.
  2. Bad comparison. What one may think is unwinnable in a PvP or GSF match may not actually be unwinnable. I've had massive comebacks happen over the years where I thought for sure I'd lose in the beginning of the match. We all stuck with it and kept fighting and we won.
  3. I have nothing against date night, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it once the companions I romanced are added. I was just pointing out that to expect massive amounts of content for any playstyle at this point is unrealistic. No matter how much we all want new content in whatever style we enjoy.
  4. This game was never putting out the consistent content that WoW does even during the prime of it's existence during 2.x when it comes to group content. To expect that now after the Dev team has a fraction of the staff they used to have and a fraction of the funding is the wrong mind set. Do I want more group content? YES, but to expect 26 raid bosses, numerous FP's, PvP maps, GSF maps since 7.1 is not a reasonable expectation. If that is what your expecting, then you should have left Swtor 8 years ago, and gone back to WoW. Here is a simple question. How many Devs work on Swtor roughly 80? How many works on WoW? I suspect that WoW has at least double what swtor does.
  5. But saying they are an exploit like the one poster said is flat out wrong. and BW specifically raised the limit for how many SH we could have because many of us had so many duplicates. Should not be hard to raise it again if needed.
  6. Comparing this to WoW is unrealistic. WoW still has Millions of subs (and no real F2P option) and they actually put $ back into the game. While we haven't seen much group content since R-4 came out (definitely no raids) we have at least gotten a new FP (Shrine of Silence) since that time. I wouldn't say this game is doing well, when it comes to group content, but I wouldn't quite put it at maintenance mode. We don't know how long Broadsword has had to work on new content since the change was finalized, and we are still on content that was from Bioware. 7.5 was said to be a Spring launch, and that is when we can start to determine how much maintenance mode this game is in. 7.5 and after is all Broadsword content and not bioware content.
  7. Agreed. A parked bomber is definitely an easy kill for most Vets.
  8. You missed the 2nd part of my comment. We shouldn't be required to delete something that may have cost people possibly CC's. I know I bought many SH's in the beginning with CC's, so if I did a server transfer the cost was 0 for it. It was a free activation.
  9. WOAH there. It's not an exploit for people having 2 of the same SH from server mergers. BW was the one that freely gave us those SH's we had from both servers when the merge happened. And no we should not necessarily be required to Deactivate them because we paid for them in the 1st place. We paid fairly whether with credits or with CC's on more then one server in the 1st place.
  10. I'm starting to think the people that are making some of the decisions are not even considering that they have players that may have a vision disability. Just another terrible decision, just like removing the Very Low graphics was.
  11. I've just started leveling a new alt, and noticed how tiny the Quest symbol is for exploration quests above the NPC heads. Truthfully I don't even notice them anymore. Is there a setting to enlarge them to what they used to be or is this just another poor decision by Broadsword for when it comes to people with poor vision?
  12. 1st boss isn't hard. Don't stand in circles, have Zo-om as a healer comp, and use HK-55's abilities.
  13. I don't mind people necessarily there for the rewards, however those that are intentionally sabotaging matches for those rewards either need to be banned or they need to consider how to stop such bad behavior. Whether it's changing the coding so it makes it harder for them to outright ruin matches like that, reduce rewards (or remove them) is something Broadsword needs to look into. I do understand that sometimes GSF needs everyone they can get, but another way to help queu times would be to reduce the number of people needed per match. Instead of looking for 8 people per side, what about if it required only 6 per team, but could still go up to 12?
  14. Wrong on multiple counts. 1) In tdm's people would still Self Destruct, as they did during Galactic Seasons because they don't get anywhere near as many medals as going afk on a sat during a Dom match. 2) New players wouldn't necessarily have an issue depending on how it was coded. Even new players don't die that often in any match. Most I've seen anyone get while trying the entire match is 10 deaths, and not all of those was SD's. So depending on how it was done it may not hurt new players. Your making a guess on that. 3) your comment about impacting sat matches do to spawn camping. This is easily fixed. Like on Denon Exosphere put 2 Capital ship options that people can launch at for Kuat Mesas (Dom), and Lost shipyards (Dom) not associated to whether you have a sat controlled at A or C. People could then spawn from multiple spots. Most teams can't spawn camp them all, while keeping defenders on the sats.
  15. Your posts on the other threads have been seen. Your idea of Medal count for dailies/weeklies would not get people to participate, but SD in all TDM's because they can't get medals and all park on 1 sat on Dom matches farming defense medals. Getting rid of those that are intentionally sabotaging matches is a good thing. I'd prefer a better Vote to kick method like Ramalina posted in the other thread, where if you die multiple times in a short amount of time you get an increased penealty on how quickly you can launch.
  16. Op I like many of the things your suggesting, however I wouldn't do them all. 1) your Idea on Stims I would not touch. By doing them by % base it would make it even harder to Min/Max like it is now. Keep it at a stat amount, just increase it from what we currently have. 2) for your number 5 I have no issues with putting in NiM of the current Ops, however I'd still put in 16 man mode options for those that like doing 16 man content. There are people that still do that. I'd also not do the Marks of Mastery for every Operation. Those were horrible for the raids they did them on, and I wouldn't want that on the rest. Wasn't a fan of those in Dxun or R-4. Those Marks just seemed to be very elitest achievements, and fully unnecessary.
  17. By this I take it you mean the Hardmode of the week like they used to have in 4.0 that would drop BiS pieces? If so, I like that idea. Remove EV, and KP from that however.
  18. Not entirely. Gods of the Machine and Dxun have reasonable HM's. It's just not many people run them. They also have NiM versions. Only 2 Ops that don't have a NiM (not counting EV/KP) is Rav/Tos, and R-4.
  19. Personally I suspect they never put out a NiM R-4 because not enough people are even running it on Story Mode or HM. If not enough even run it on SM, then either A) people don't like the fights, B) Simply not worth the time to do it compared to other Story Mode Operations, or C) is far to difficult for the average player these days. Could also be all of the above for some people. I cleared it once on sm, and haven't felt the desire to ever go back in sm, but then I never liked R-4 because the place is to dark since they removed the Very Low Graphics settings. Yes I did do some of the HM bosses on R-4, but never really wanted to do progression on it. If I was needed as a fill in fine, if not I was good not raiding that night.
  20. Personally I like having companions that have 0 to do with the normal storyline. Companions from Sub rewards, and Galactic Seasons make great companions for crafting that can't be taken away. Those are the only ones I ever rank up.
  21. Your wrong. It doesn't promote afk'ing or suiciding. People are just using excuses like that for going against the ToS and griefing the rest of the GSF players by sabotaging matches. And yes Griefing is against ToS, and that is exactly the behavior your defending.
  22. Because they want you to subscriber of course.
  23. that depends on what you call rewards. Many people feel it's very rewarding to see how well you can do Vs a very superior team. Setting a goal like see how few times you can die, while still putting up a fight. Or how many of the enemy you can take out even if it is a loss, or even see how close you can make a match. Can you make a 10-50 loss more like a 30-50 loss. Rewards aren't all about conquest or tech frags. There are plenty of ways to make a clear loss feel rewarding
  24. Clearly that shows you are only in GSF because of the rewards and that you don't know how much fun the game is if your actually playing it. The game is so much more then just some random rewards. Learning how the mechanics, and strategies work is so much more then that.
