  1. well for those of us with a lot of characters, we don't want to go through every single thing. The double XP weekends allowed me to level 2 characters (missed 1 weekend) to 50, that I never would have made or leveled without them. They are awesome for people who have been playing for awhile and have many toons and seen it all multiple times.
  2. If they implemented a tax for guild banks that would absolutely suck. I never use guild banks in my guild, and never will. I farm my own mats if i need something crafted, pay my own repair bills, and always craft stuff for free (I farm mats for guildies if they need something crafted). Why should I be taxed whenever I make creds? I help out anyone who needs it. people need creds, ask for donations. 250k a month is not even 1 day of dailies.
  3. Punish people for leaving is 1 thing, but I've found many times I'm in a wz, and DC to desktop. This is an automatic kick from the group, so I'd be punished for leaving even tho I had no intention of doing so. How would they set it up so those who DC don't get punished for DC's?
  4. Honestly the bubble stun isn't a cheat. It is 1 of the very few survivability things Sorcs, (especially healers use). even when used on groups, it really doesn't do much, except for making dps immovable for a couple of seconds. (OH NO!! you have to stop spamming keys for 2-3 seconds!!!) Even with this power, it rarely stops dps from killing the Sorc healers anyway. If they remove this ability they really will need to add something to help out Sorcs/sages for survivability.
  5. I do see 1 problem with having the guild ships with the features you've listed. Nobody would ever go to fleet except once per day to pick up the daily/weekly quests. Crafters wouldn't be able to spam general chat and have people see what items they can craft and make a profit from it.
  6. Something I keep noticing from Expertise is that no matter how much of it you have, you're still getting pummeled by 6-7k hit's. seeing you've reduced healing in PvP. (I say this because when I heal in my WH gear on fleet. i crit for 5800 or so, but when I heal in a WZ I crit for barely 5k, why don't you completely take out the Damage boost mechanic involved in Expertise? instead make Expertise just as a Damage reduction bonus for people. My sorc with 1318 expertise is always getting hit for 6-7k, I'd think with that expertise level, those numbers should be far lower. 4-5.5k perhaps?

    Lol that would definitely be funny if they did that. they'd lose out on comms as well as XP. Still kind of silly to twink anyway. may as well just do PvP at 50, or just delete the toon and start PvP'ing from 10 again. (depending on if you prefer low level PvP Vs 50)

    there really is no way to twink a low level character out. Unlike the game that won't be named, you can't turn off your XP. so even tho u may have the best gear for your level, you'll eventually hit 50.
  9. As long as it is Optional and doesn't give anything for it I have no issues. If it drops loot or something, forcing people to do space missions in an Operation would be boggus, especially for those who do not really like space combat in an MMO.

My healing sorc has 126 Crit rating (buffed/ Rakata Stim) 34.92% 342 Surge Rating (Buffed/stimmed) 77.36% (this is above the soft cap. 222 Alacrity rating (buffed/stimmed) 7.18% This give my DI a 2.3 second cast time. I used to have Activation speed at 10.19% and DI was 2.2, so Alacrity really didn't do much. Willpower: 2258 Power: 1073 ( I use 2 WH relics for 113 Power each) Force Power: 1346 Bonus healing is at 807.3 granted these numbers are my preferred, you can still lose a bit of power if your looking for more crit, but Personally I like having my base heals as High as possible.
  11. The simple Solution to this is to get rid of the CC break (which is completely useless) and add an internal Immunity that is 3 or 4 times the length of a stun every time your stun breaks. Yes this method wouldn't allow you to break a stun, however you wouldn't be able to be stunned for the remainder of the fight allowing you to still kill the enemy. This would also force people to use stuns far more carefully.
  12. Personally, unless a fight like HM EC Kephess (haven't done it yet) suggests it, I always guard the top dps (Sentinels for my guild). Healers never pull off me, so the threat reduction doesn't really have any effect on a healer whatsoever. even in random FP pugs I always guard the best geared dps.

Have to fully agree on different Skill tree's for PvE, and PvP, and how Abilities should work differently between PvP, and PvE is the better route to go then completely removing PvP from the game. Personally 1 of the changes made due to PvP that I didn't like for PvE recently is the shorter range on CC's. A sage in PvE should never need to be within 10 meters. It just goes against being a ranged character.

Personally I see Alacrity as a useful stat for sage healing, tho trying to find the right amount of it yet, because I see Deliverance as being a great spell for tank healing in combination of rejuv and healing trance. Salvation I use on healer/rdps mainly. (great for Noble Sacrifice for Force) From my understanding sages want there Alac somewhere around 8.9-9.3%, tho I can't seem to get it in that range myself. If i remove 1 Alac enhancement i go from 10.07% down to 8.7% which i'm reluctant to go that low on. I've alrdy hit my surge cap of 75% so it really is a minor difference.
  15. I've also been trying to figure out my secondary stats for my Healing sage. I've gotten my surge up to 75.11%, my Crit is at 37% (after the 5% buff. above the cap atm.) power 900, and my Alac is at 10.07%. The last time I had heard there was no diminishing returns off of power, but that may have changed since I last looked. The one thing I've noticed for my character however is that my Willpower is only at 1851. What is the DR from power, and if there is one, should I be lowering my power to add additional Willpower?
  16. well I use the War hero relic for 113 Def (+ augment), and the Absorbtion Campaign relic that gives 405 Absorbtion when it procs. I use the War hero due to the fact to me the strength isn't important as a tank whatsoever compared to Mitigating the damage i'm taking to help the healers out, and the loss of about 20-30 end on the WH relic isn't a very big loss of HP's so the 113 def I deem is far more important. the Campaign relic I prefer over relics you click, because I don't have to worry about it, and it procs enough that I have a lot more overall mitigation then from a relic that I can only use once every 2 minutes or so.
  17. In fact this is not correct. just because you may PvP, doesn't mean you'll have anywhere near max on Ranked/WZ comms when you hit 50. Most people do not purely level through PvP which is the only way you would be able to do that once you hit 40 to transfer to ranked comms. Most people quest as well, if not do far more questing to level then PvP. it is far faster then only PvP for XP.
  18. Hate to tell you this, but while some people may do enough PvP to maximize how much rwz, and reg wz comms for when they hit 50, most don't. Most people get into PvP once they hit 50. They may do matches while leveling, but not fully level off of PvP. You'd almost have to be Valor 40, at 40th level, and with the 30:10 conversion rate PvP level the last 10 levels, maybe doing class quest in the mix.
  19. 1) Dual spec- important for people who fill in needed roles for guilds on any given night. 2) Continued Class stories 3) Legacy levels past 30 meaning something (whether reducing Perk costs or something worthwhile). 4) Legacy bank for all characters in your legacy.
  20. if you delete your first character before chapter 1, and have no other characters at all on that server, that character no longer exists, so whatever character you make after that will be considered as your 1st. You'll have to complete chapter 1 on that new character in order to unlock your legacy.
  21. I don't see Shadowbane as a flop at all. it was a game for a certain type of player, that lasted for over 6+ years. Pure PvP. that is all the game was based on, and I have seen no game since that had PvP machanics to match. No game since has held my attention for PvP. everyone else has gone to the CC breaks, (which are utterly worthless, with 2 min CD's) instead of putting Immunity for a certain amount of time after you were stunned. A lot of people don't like going around automatically flagged for PvP, which was what that game was, no PvE servers. If any game would go back and use the same Stun/immunity machanics as shadowbane, i'd be far more interested in doing PvP.
  22. while I may be wrong, I thought I read on the PTS forums around patch 1.2 someone had mentioned fleet comms capping at either 2-3k. no clue on the others.
  23. Actually you cannot get a schematic from RE'ing one of the generic Mk-1 Armoring mods. it says not available if you do.
  24. not sure on the Denova part, but I can verify that you can not RE Armoring mods from black hole gear. they do not give a % chance to learn a schematic if you RE an armoring mod from them. not the vendor pieces anyway.
  25. Personally I don't see where this will affect to many people who play ToR. Content will be different for people who are subbed, compared to those who aren't. If you look at what is there, Operations are Sub only, as well as other things. Anyone who wants end game content will stay subbed in order to do it, which means BW will keep making $ and continue to make new content.
