  1. The sorc bubble is suppose to count towards healing done as far as I have heard, so it's possible. Easy enough to test, pull anything like medpacks and any other heals off your bar and do a WZ.
  2. its not a bug, just how the talent works. Poison skills don't have some unquie effect its just internal damage, only the tooltips call them poisons.
  3. here is a good question about the internal damage relic, does it proc the 2 energy regen when it crits. I am pretty sure culls internal effect does when it crits so figured the relic might too.
  4. Rapid fire is ok, but I think for it to really shine you need alacrity to make the channels shorter so it really pushes out dps. With the other changes to MM, like the sniper volley upgrade the spec is really strong and reliable.
  5. So far it seems bioware wants to make the 31+ specs far more appealing then they are now, nearly everyone runs some form of hybrid and it's generally more effective then the full specs.
  6. Are you talking sustained or burst dps? Also an excellent way to compare damage is to do a raid and look at total damage delt by each player to one boss, looking at "dps" numbers doesn't alway paint a clear picture. You could have the lowest dps and still do more damage then the highest.

  9. This is accually something I like becuase it's no longer a must have talent, a sniper now has more room to play with specs
  10. Ya that's a harsh craft, but gotta admit its a cool name for a rifle. As for the new orange recipes it's a matter of how to get said recipe.
  11. In 1.2 when you call pull barrels off pvp and pve gear.... HELL YES, when it has an augment slot it is the best weapon you can get, where did u get the recipe and what is needed to make it
  12. Sorc chain lightning can hit for alot, and it hits twice. There it alot of aoe skills out there, and chances are we all have been hit by them when a teammate decides to run in our direction.

Siege bunker talent in truth is a massive damage midigation upgrade. yes most would move out of the way of targeted aoes when given the choice, but sometimes those aoes are used in an attempt to force use to move to cancel entrench and ballistic shield. As for the amount, it's alot when u add additional defences like ballistic dampeners (30%) and ballistic shield (20%). All those together add up to 110% while I doubt they will stack like that it will still add up to alot of defence. Now when u consider every other aoe in the game that doesn't have a big glowy circle on the ground it is an awesome talent upgrade to a skill you use anyway.
  14. For a start your cunning is a little low. should be in the 1600 range, and u could have a bit more surge, aim for 72% or so. Judging from your ranged damage you need a better weapon and off hand.
  15. Tips for lethality. first cull doesn't accually seem to do more damage with 2 dots over 1. Second weakening blast work on culls damage increasing it by 30%. 3rd use the talents that increase the damage of the dart and the decreased cost making the build very effecient damage.
  16. engineer HAS uses but its situational, any other spec works all the time. engineer to me looks like an attempt at making an AoE/survival spec, but turned out far to gimicky and low on dps. there is alot of good things in the tree which makes it popular for hybrids, but higher talents are very lacking or in the wrong tier to be effective (stroke of genius + followthrough = awesome, but not enough points)
  17. eng/leth hybrid does steady damage and can be energy effecient so long as u stay away from spaming cull, just pour on the 3 dots and watch the bosses burn. full lethality is somewhat like a sorc madness line, except its 30% per tick vs 20% from deathmark for sorc.
  18. i would LOVE a pet/summoner class, and its not even a far stretch for the story line, u hear of sith alchemists making different creatures with the force in several quests and then there is always things like droids for a counter.
  19. Right now these AC have no way to keep on the move and continue fighting in important situations like flash points/operation bosses and WZ. There is 2 options for entering cover, natural cover and crouch. Natural cover is extremely limited so most just use crouch my idea is for a 3rd option that behaves like a mix of both. Cover can be used to quickly roll into natural cover a short distance away which can be used to gain ground or put distance on a target in theory, but in reality not easy to pull off. My idea is for a skill, let's call it "Take Position" for now, when used it allows the user to select an area up to 15m away and roll to a crouched cover. This would have a cooldown of like 15 seconds or so but could be used from cover as well to reposition as needed and grant the enter cover bonuses like ballistic dampeners and ista cast buffs.
  20. The 5 points spent on the crit damage bonus doesn't seem to add up to much. cluster bombs kick *** though it's like 5-6k possible damage at the cost of 1 energy. It's to bad most the rest of engineering isn't that great.
  21. Healers are easiest to kill when u catch them healing someone else. I have killed lots of healers, sorcs and ops healers aren't to bad to kill, merc ones are a total pain in the but. Best way is to spec for cluster bombs, they rip ppl apart. First explosion is 3.8k and every other one is up to 700, it's alot of damage when combined with the shots used to detonate the bombs.
  22. I love the MM spec, and it is an art. My greatest masterpiece was a void star match that I hit 580k damage, so much fun. MM works very well, u just need the proper rotation and to learn to love cover.
  23. when u consider that SoS is our single strongest skill, being able to use it 3 times in a row is awesome. i have hit players for 2k per hit, if all 4 shots crit its 8k damage, 2 SoS will kill most, a 3rd is just insurance.
  24. true less BASE damage but it crits harder, much harder. CG does not get any crit damage bonus talents, Plasma probe gets a 30% crit damage bonus, and costs much less, hell it can cost 0 energy which makes it efficient damage.
  25. The whole engineer build is more or less a survivability spec. While yes it has some very nice damage skills like cluster bombs, the real advantage is more then double the survival rate, shield probe has an effective 1 minute cd, u get 6% heal every minute, more endurance and the ballistic shield upgrade. Oh and plasma probe is deffently makes melee think twice, even more so with a healthy helping of orbital strike.
