  1. Tip for heal spec merc; there is a talent just above kolto missile that makes your heal scan (17 heat per use 10 secondish cd) proc a bonus that makes your next rapid scan (25 heat) have 0 cost. To get even more out of that use super charge to make heal scan have no cd, the do that rotation for low cost heal spam.
  2. ya u could do that for now, but that will get fixed eventually, so after that then what.
  3. Presently the sniper class can earn the fewest medals in a WZ of any class. The reason behind this is the fact that we only can earn damage related medals, every other class can earn damage medals as well as other medals related to healing and guarding. i have seen were ppl claim that u can get guarding medals by using ballistic shield but i have never seen this happen. seems rather unfair that sniper gets to have the slowest valor gain of all 8 classes.
  4. frag grenade isn't to bad for an aoe, it knocks down a target in the blast. Eventually u get suppressive fire which hits 3 targets. Snipers best aoe is orbital strike, it can deal massive amounts of damage, MM line has talents that decrease its cast time and CD, engineering has talents that increase its base and crit damage.
  5. Ya it knocks them out, so does any stun. And leg shot can keep them from entering cover as well. Best thing to do is exp probe and plant orbital strike on them then flash bang if they try to move, boom 5+ k damage in one hit. As for against melee, the 2 classes that do melee damage could just force chock u for the duration anyway.

I love the MM spec, but that skill seems like a total waste these days. majority of damage from players is tech/force so it doesn't help for the acc reduction, and more often then not I never hardly see another sniper/gunslinger anyway and it's not like diversion is the best way to get them out of cover. So is it worth the talent or better spent just about anywhere else.
  7. Snipers in WZ are there to kill the enemy, and thats about it. Even in huttball best thing u can do is to send as many enemy players to the waiting room as possible, it means less ppl to stop your ball carrier and less ppl for the enemy to pass to. Personally i wish i had a choice in what WZ i could go to, would make deciding a build to run easier. In voidstar i would say hand down that the engineer build is the best. Plasma probe kicks ***** for defending doors but it doesn't do well in other WZs.
  8. wish i had a screen shot handy, but ive delt 500k in a WZ with MM spec. best part is the 5.5k ambushs and 8.8kish total damage from SoS. i have tried all 3 specs, i personally love cover, so MM all the way. i find the other 2 specs don't really complement the snipers normals skills very well, just throw new ones in.

  10. We got the same probe as u, entrench only prevents cc, no damage blocked. And yes snipers do good dps they are a dps class, we have no other role. Before the nerf ops out damaged me in WZ all the time. op is NOT a pure dps class, and now ur skills refect it.

  12. Ok u got no bubble like the sorc Force speed? You can talent the ability to be 15% faster ALL the time, force speed is 2 seconds, u can talent debilitate to boost your speed 30% for 4 seconds. No pull or aoe knock backs. Oh well. Try to talent heals, for sorcs heals to be good they gotta spec it too. Both purges are the same and both have a talent upgrade. CC wise u probably get more when u talent the knockdown. Channeled slow? Try ops aoe slow, yes you gotta talent it. There skills have a large usage compared to regen rate, also because u need tactical advantage to use certain skills the energy needs are cut in half compared to normal Your ranged too, just not the hardest hiting skills.

  14. It's annoying listening to one trick wonder players whine cause there tricks no longer works. I suggest to every op/scoundrel that u look at every skill u have and your talents and who knows u might find something new that works just as good if not better.
  15. They don't listen to you because it's useless whining. The nerf was a good decision on BW's part, op/scoundrel is a UTILITY class, u don't deserve to have stealth, heals, purges, AND the highest burst damage in the game. You get alot of skills, learn to use more of them and u will realize why they nerfed you.
  16. I hate to say things like this but I have to this; L2P Believe it or not snipers wreck ppl in pvp 50 bracket. Also cover is your friend always was and always will be. When your in cover u get one of the most reliable damage midigations in the game, so long as your NOT shooting yourself it's nearly 100% block. One of the best things about cover is the buff gained called "unshakeable" normally you see this on bosses, it makes it so u cannot be interubted by any means even the interrupt skill are useless. As for dealing with pll getting close, when u see them coming put down orbital strike around yourself and they will either hesitate giving you time to shoot them down, or forced to soak up the aoe to try to kill you making it easy to burst them down.
  17. i had an idea for a free for all warzone that would be a fun alternative to huttball. Speeder demolition derby rules are fairly simple everyone is on a speeder equipped with several weapons in a small arena and points are scored by destroying your opponents, highest score wins the match. every speeder has the same amount of health so regardless your lvl everyone is evenly matched. you get the same skills while riding a speeder. first is a blaster mounted to the front. medium damage but good fire rate, the standard weapon during the match. second are mines you can drop behind you. high damage but long cool down, only remains on the track for 1 minute. 3rd is a charge. high damage but causes your own speeder a small amount of damage in return, when used you cannot turn your speeder. lasts 3 seconds. 4th is a repair over time. when used the speeder loses 30% of its speed and you cannot attack until its canceled. 5th skill is based on class. force users get a aoe push around the speeder, low damage but can knock opponents a fair ways. tech classes get a aoe emp blast that slows the nearby opponents and causes a small amount of damage. might be fun change from always doing huttball.
  18. my rotation goes; shatter shot, laze, snipe, ambush, depending on remaining health either series of shots or take down. i get follow through next lvl. i generally out dps everyone else 9 times out of 10 (aoe ppl occasionally beat me) my highest burst averages 4k, getting the 5k burst medal is a tough one to get.
  19. Personally I feel the passive boosts are more benifical to grab first as it effects you through out the lvls. The extra skills might be nice but the 9% cunning and 6% crit boosts are very helpful.
