  1. Just read this article from MassivelyOP: https://massivelyop.com/2023/07/07/hyperspace-beacon-why-swtors-move-to-broadsword-has-brought-me-back/
  2. Maybe it was because I never actually logged out of the forums when I changed to preferred.....perhaps if you log out, you may not be able to log back in again?
  3. It's the middle of winter here - seeing people running around in skimpy outfits just makes me feel cold! 😆🤣
  4. @WayOfTheWarriorx I have always been very interested in and appreciative of the depth and breadth of your knowledge. Truly, I am in awe! For this game, though, I'm just happy to have something Star Wars-flavoured. For me, it doesn't have to follow strictly to the letter of the law in terms of the creator's vision (Lucas), just has to have enough look and feel (i.e. set in a Star Wars universe of some sort) for me to lose myself in a galaxy of Jedi, Sith, smugglers, bounty hunters of all different xenotypes. My characters all have different back stories about who they are, where they came from and how they ended up on their respective starter planets - head canon is great as it stretches your imagination and lets you be who and what you want to be at any particular point in time. There's no wrong or right way to play a game like SWTOR - you play it your way, however that suits you. If you want to follow canon as much as possible, go for it. If you want to have a Jedi consular shooting Force Lightning, go for it. And don't forget, if you're subbed to the game, you're paying to play it however you want to. It's entirely up to you. Do what's fun for you.
  5. Preferred can post also. I was still posting here while preferred.
  6. He has a voice I could listen to for hours - he could read me the phone book, and that would be just grand!
  7. Oooh I see....no wonder I was having trouble. Thank you - greatly appreciated. @eabevella Thank you, yes I've done all that - just had to find the missions. It would be ideal if the names actually matched, though.
  8. Thanks so much for your reply. I'm at the Gormak Worker Camp, and the only clickable mission terminal (with a mission triangle) is directly in front of the medical services droid to the left side of the camp, and it's only offering the missions A Cantina in Crisis, It's Really Piling Up, and Security Reboot. No sign of the three missions that I actually need - Kitchen Work, Cleanup Crew and Security Repairs. Do they change each week or rotate out or something similar? Still looking for these blasted missions!
  9. So, I've gone through the main story line for 7.3, and have one mission left - Joint Efforts. For this, I need to complete 3 missions: Kitchen Work; Cleanup Crew; and Security Repairs. I am, however, unable to find where to pick these up. I've checked the main board in Interpreter's Retreat, and the ones listed there are Let Them Drink, Easing Anxieties, and Ongoing Threats. I've also checked the mission box in the field close to the Shrine of Judgment, but that also offers 3 x different missions - none of which are the ones I need to complete. One sounds close ("Security Reboot") but that's not the one I need. Where do I find the mission giver for these three that I need? I've looked pretty much everywhere in Interpreter's Retreat, and am a bit tired of playing hide and seek now....I just want to finish this.
  10. Unless you're Vitiate/Tenebrae/Valkorian. Or Malgus.
  11. Or have a line for crafting skills (including level) showing below the class for each character at character select, as well as their current location (where you logged them out). EQ2 does this, and it makes life so much easier.
  12. Sorry for double-post (I don't know how to do a double quote in the same post) - I was wondering if Lana's VA was getting over a cold or something similar. She's a bit husky. I was toying with the idea that Lana was actually Darth Nul....until the story developed to where I realised that she couldn't be as Darth Nul was hundreds of years before her.
  13. Am I the only one who thinks that he's wearing his pajamas and a bathrobe? Not that it's bad on him, just that was the first thing I thought of - freshly out of the 'fresher!
  14. So true! It's the long, drawn out "Vay-caaaaaation" that makes me smile every time!
  15. Don't care, not interested, this has nothing to do with Theron appreciation which is the topic of this thread.
  16. Can everyone please just take a deep breath, step back and give it a break? Can this thread also get back on topic, which is a Theron appreciation/love thread? Personally, I don't care what other characters are in any particular scene, and how they act or react in conjunction to Theron - it is the player character's actions and reactions to Theron that should be the priority. No one has the definitive, unarguable *canon* about a Theron romance - it is purely up to each individual player character how they construe it and what works for them. It's nice being able to share different perspectives on the relationship with others. I've learnt a lot about how other players see their romance with Theron - it has certainly expanded my own character's contexts.
  17. I've just played partially through Old Wounds on my LS SW, romanced to Arcann. That is one of the best reunion scenes in the game - so sweet, yet not sickly, and with evident depth of feeling on both sides. The part
  18. Suggest you look again - you absolutely can buy season level catch up with credits. The character I'm currently logged in on is at level 38, and to catch up to (for example) level 40, I have the option of paying either 1,062,252 credits or 200 CC. Unless you're saying you can't use credits to get to level 100, which is correct - I can use credits to level up to the 'current' level of 51 (104,233,760 credits) but not higher (because GS hasn't organically got to that yet).
  19. I've got nearly 20 years more on you 😆 I also have a niece older than me!
  20. Confess I had to look up what 'ship' meant in this context.....feeling very old.....
  21. Enjoyed it - you really have to watch where you're stepping! Agree with DeannaVoyager - had to look the puzzle up also.
  22. It's incredibly jarring not having my character speak during the black bar dialogues, when the NPC's are able to talk (or use alien speech). My agent with the most elegant, sophisticated voice just stands there, like a silent idiot..... Yes, I get it - voice actors are expensive. So it would be better to have none than only half (and the wrong half, to boot).
  23. Yes, I got the exact same thing happen with my agent as well (non-saboteur).
