  1. Now that op/scoundrel is soon to be completely broken (removing the burst dps from a burst dps class), wouldn't it make more sense to re-roll as an assassin for the increased survivability, better sustained dps and force sprint etc?
  2. time to re-roll sorcs, best damage, best heals, and because most people play them they will get the least "zomg nerf class x" threads
  3. come play republic so you can be constantly zerged by infinitely better geared imps!
  4. 1. you're not an operative but nice try 2. they are designed to be a top 1vs1 burst dmg class, and they do that well, but the game is not about 1vs1, only wow kids think it is 3. any reductions to damage to the class will render it obsolete, because then you will have an assassin/shadow, a medium dps stealth class, but without the sustainability of the assassin/shadow (ie a gimped class)
  5. 1. in your abilities under look for a hutball throw ability 2. drag it to your quickbar slot 3. assign that quickbar slot an easy key to access on your keyboard (because when you are trying to throw the ball you will usually be being zerged and chain stunned, knocked back etc so make it a really easy key to get to! (i use q)) 4. when you are getting ready to pass click that hotkey repeatably (because you will keep getting stunned/interrupted), you will notice your mouse cursor becomes an ability animation, move your mouse cursor on the GROUND where you want to throw the ball to (somewhere you can see in a reasonable range), if it's ok to pass the animation will go a certain color that i can't remember, light blue maybe (maybe someone else can mention it) but if it's not ok to pass it will go red from memory. 5. When you're ready to complete the pass spam the **** out of your left mouse button and the pass hotkey and it should slip out in between your chain stuns.
  6. It's just getting ridiculous, the outcomes of all the warzones now are just the team that has the most sorcs/sages spamming their overpowered heals wins.
  7. agree with you op it's pretty pathetic when an ex wow gamer knows more about pvp than the bw dev team
  8. I really hope not, seeing how hard it is to get BM gear now champ gear is my only hope of getting decent gear

    the unkillable healer

don't group all healers into the same group, if she was unkillable she was a sorc healer period, bh/troopers and ops/scoundrels are pathetic in comparison it's the damn bubble they get that makes them op, just remove the bubble
  10. pve in sw-tor = spend 1/2 an hour traveling somewhere (shuttles, ports, docks, speeders, walking) spend a couple of minutes killing something, then spend 1/2 an hour traveling back.
  11. 1. You dont get as many medals as a healer as you do dpsing 2. you don't get kill credits 3. the ui sucks for healing 4. no mouse over healing 5. heals receive a 30% debuff damage doesn't 6. it's boring 7. heals are so weak you cant keep 1 person alive through dps 8. even if you try and heal your team they los you all the time because heals are on such long casts 9. nobody ever stays back with you to protect you i think that about covers it
  12. smuggs/ops are by far the worst healers in the game, especially in pvp, tbh there's really no point rolling one. as a smug my biggest heal heals for ~1200 non-crit and is on a 2.5 second cast (1.9 with skills) and i'm being hit by everyone for 2k+ insta casts non-crit. the hots are worthless and use far too much energy to be worth using on people. just don't bother, only decent healer is sorc/sage thanks to the bubble and ground heal
  13. everyone demanding proof are the star wars fanbois, just ignore them, in theire rose colored glasses bw will never do any wrong, many of them have been signed up waiting for this game since 2008/2009 so they are emotionally invested in it.
  14. It's the same everywhere, idiots with college degrees (ie they went to high school for a few extra years) making decisions for things based on their studying out of date text books rather than on any first hand experience. In my business i would employ someone with 4 years experience doing a job over someone with 4 years sitting in a classroom reading about doing a job any day of the year.
  15. operative healers suck, i can kill a fully healing specced one in bm gear in <10 seconds. bh healers are much stronger, but i can still kill them in ~20 seconds, using stuns and interrupts. sorc healers are f'ing invincible, due to that damn bubble and ground slime, after 30 seconds i am out of energy and they are full health......they are immortal.
  16. and this is exactly what happens when idiots make a game requiring you to grind pvp for pvp gear.........the "wow kiddy factor". gotta reward the kids for pvp'ing or they won't do it. pvp is supposed to be about the fun and challenge of fighting unpredictable opponents rather than linear pve boring opponents, not this garbage.
  17. maybe if they cared more about community, balance, fairness and dailys the subscriber rates would be looking good, dumb executives are dumb.
  18. lol seriously? you know as well as i do there's nothing marginal about bm stats, any class decked out in full bm gear becomes god-like these "marginal" increases from expertise are the entire reason they had to give 50's a desperate warzone tier.
  19. if you are 60 you can get BM gear. (2 bags a day in dailys, plus weeklys) if you are <60 you can't get any bm gear period. what's difficult to understand?
  20. here's a clue, maybe not everyone rolled on a high pop server like you did, i know right, there's people in different circumstances than yourself, it's incredible. personally i rolled on the highest pop server, deliberately, because the highest pop server is the last one to die after the first 30 day mass exodus (as seen in Aion, rift, aoc, warhammer etc) so i haven't got any issues with queues, but i do feel sorry for the people who bw suckered into joining "full" pop servers that are now "light" (aka empty) so remember for gw2, roll on the highest pop server.
  21. they had those in game, the geniuses at bw removed them
  22. As reps what are we supposed to do, there are ~30 imps waiting outside our base, there are ~30 imps camping the middle so the crates aren't an option, and there are groups of 4-5 imps traveling around in packs on their speeders, and there's maybe 10 reps total in the whole stupid zone......if we engage them they call in their general chat one of the zergs down who obliterate us before we've managed 2 kills. **** it i'm just gunna re-roll imp like the rest of my guild is doing
  23. BW can make a side more or less appealing at their will, they've known since closed beta how vastly outnumbered reps were and they have done NOTHING to counter it, they just made it worse by adding same faction vs same faction hutball........long queues would have been at least one reason to roll republic.
  24. lol yeah it's our fault BW have put no system in whatsoever to balance population buffs, debuffs, caps, lockouts, queues.....they have a multitude of tools available to them but they do nothing, and the problem just keeps getting worse as more and more reps re-roll to the easy mode side. example: if there are 100 imps in a zone and 33 reps, then the reps should get a "bolster" buff, giving them a 300% bonus to their hit points, to make up for the fact that there are 3 times more imps in the zone. i can't tell you how quickly people would re-roll to republic if this happened, and before you knew it the sides would be tracking close to 50:50. ratios. people are re-rolling imps because it's easy, it's easy to zerg reps for valor, it's easy to farm reps for dailys, they are defenseless as it is because 10 people beat 2.
