No, items with set bonus or top tier items should be rewarded. Otherwise it contradicts the purpose to close the gap between the face-roll solo stuff and group content. Another point that speaks against this: Your entitled playerbase WILL start a whine-festival because it is to hard to beat the content and to get the rewards. This would then lead in a complete nerf of the system so that companions (the real heroes in the SWTOR universe) can solo the eternal championship while the player is making coffee.

Same could be argued about players wanting the game easy because it is a "game". The real argument behind this could be, that those players want the game to be easy to get fast and easy rewards.

This is a MMO and as such every player is more or less in competition. If someone does the heroics on hardmode and he gets the same rewards as a person who does them in easy, he creates a disadvantage for himself.

Rewards need to be tied to the diffcult level. If something hardmode takes double the time than in easy mode, rewards needs to be doubled. Otherwise this makes no sense.

This bug is going on for 6? weeks and i admit, i am no programmer and i also have no clue about it, but i managed to come up with your "theory" on myself after a few days of the bug. So for me, BW has basically no idea what is causing the bug. Server Vanjervalis Chain - Advanced Accuracy Augment 40 - not searchable after todays patch, it was before. Edit: After some time at the GTN, the last restart increased the number of non-searchable items by around 500%.

BW needs level sync to rehash content (probably the main reason they made it). So your suggestion won't happen. Just imagine they did this with KOTFE release. Since most endgame-content is rehash, the players on the no-sync server would have very little to do.

To fight with a companion is part of the game, the story and the immersion. Dismissing a companion is no solution. All other "methods" to gimp yourself are no solution either. This is a MMO and as such it is competition. A player weakening himself to have some kind of difficulty creates disadvantages for himself. It is BWs job to deliver a game that is balanced, not the players. If BW wants the players do be able to balance the game, rewards needs to be tied to the difficult level.

Skill trees, item stats, companion gearing... crafting also got a huge portion of dumbification with KOTFE. I think the video the person posted is on a higher planet, so companions can solo not only the starter worlds.

What are you talking about ? You can let your companion play the game, that has nothing to do with "cater to all players". The removing of choices and options and the overall dumbing down of the game is ridiculous.

There is more between "hard" and "my companion can solo everything except group stuff". Something like "i need to use my character with all abilities he has to beat some fights". And yes, this was the case when this game launched.

It is less work for BW. That is probably the main reason. Most changes BW made in the past had the effect of removing choices or options.

You really whine about leveling being to long in SWTOR? Good luck finding a faster MMO.

They never said class story only will be enough XP. It is class story + planetary quest line. And since you are only interested in the story, your level does not matter since you get up-synced.

If you want to play another class, i would start from level 1 (leveling is fast). If you want to play a BH again, you could also use your boost and start diretcly with KOTFE.

Hopefully not happening.
