  1. The last two hours I've been pursuing Gayem Leksende, the Czerka corp slave, on Tatooine... I find him and literally slay him in a second. WOW FEEL SO GOOD ABOUT THAT For the next 'big boss' I'm going to recruit my 4 year old nephew to press to some butan and take out the baddies!
  2. Only hardcore players want a difficulty increase, am I right? Are there even any 'hardcore' players in this game?
  3. It's almost seemed more a feature of free-to-play games to me. You introduce no obligation to pay and low system requirements and the vermin can't join fast enough. I've seen it happen twice in other subscriptions MMOs that have been ruined. Yes I'm bitter, but not angry cos that leads to the dark side etc
  4. You are 100% wrong. I've never played SWTOR but knew of it and decided to pick it up after watching the new film. I'm well aware of the state of modern MMO gaming and the race to the bottom in terms of difficulty. In games like LOTRO there aren't many 'hardcore' players left and - as I've noticed in this thread - casuals like myself are being redefined as 'hardcore' because we want even a modicum of challenge (it's all bit ) but no other game I've played comes even CLOSE to level of difficulty of this game. I'll definitely try out the PVP even though I'm not much of a PVPer... and the other things suggested in thread.
  5. But that's the thing - I'm not good at the game, I've only been playing a few days and don't even understand half of the mechanics yet. Yet I could probably 'play' the game while watching TV and still have absolutely no fear of dying and wipe out everything. It really doesn't matter what buttons I press, I always will be the glorious victor, the ultimate Jedi. Not sure how anyone could defend it tbh
  6. I'm a new player and while SWTOR seems pretty good, the difficulty level seems incredibly easy. I'm not some amazing player by any means but nothing is presenting any challenge whatsoever, even 'bosses' are laughably weak... it makes the game seem shallow, like this is actually a child's game or something. I know companions have recently been buffed but is this a permanent change? It's an incredible shame if it's like this the whole game, it's ruining it for me tbh.
