  1. What'll really make you happy is when you realize that you could have bought the Collector's Edition at your local Gamestop for $20, and gotten a free month of playtime out of it (effectively making it also $5).
  2. TYL: all trooper armor has the Havoc Squad symbol on it.
  3. There's a helm on Coruscant that you can get from one of the quests (don't remember which) - and I got one that dropped off an elite during an Heroic 4. There's also an entire matching set on Hammer Station (Flashpoint) that you can get . Generally though, if you're just solo questing, you're gonna' have to wait until the end of Taris/Nar Shadaa/Tatooine areas - between 22-30.
  4. Hey, This game does not yet have paid character transfers. There is no guild like Alpha Company on our server. So, if you want to join them, I would suggest first applying to their guild (http://www.alphacompanyonline.org/SWTOR/SitRep.html) and then creating a toon on their server (Jung Ma). I agree, they look awesome, and I really like the attention to detail and RP aspect - but ultimately, I'm just going to stay here on Pot5 with RSS, because they're really nice people and I enjoy playing with them.
  5. Yeah, but AC went down for days at a time sometimes with new patches - and then the rollbacks ... MY GOD THE ROLLBACKS! >.< "Memooooooriiiiieeeeessssssss."
  6. Install market using this guide: http://www.ehalm.at/avd-2.2-market.php?l=en
  7. Hi Noah! Press "L" on your keyboard while in game, and then click the tab labeled "Codex". From there, find the "Game Rules" section - and enjoy all the education you'll need (and all the answers to your questions). PS: Other people's choices in a group affect the outcome of the group story, but your alignment is based on your choices, not anyone else's.
  8. How to emulate Android the right way without shady websites: - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769057 Also, the point of the key generator is not to be "completely separate from your computer"; just random. If someone has complete control of your box and can see your code - they're stealing credit card numbers and person information, not your damn SW:TOR stuff. Seriously. - http://www.malwarebytes.org/ - http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage / thread
  9. No; but way to waste time posting on the forums!
  10. Nobody cares dude, nobody cares.
  11. This. You did indeed miss it if you actually did finish the Tatooine bonus series. It's curved at the end with spikey thingies on the top. Very nice indeed.
  12. Well since no one but BioWare actually has real numbers, all these sites with stats (including the one you posted) are estimated ********. You'd rather believe that then the tons of posters on here that have given you screen shots to prove their hypothesis. That seems smart.
  13. I'm sure it's easier to patch all at once. You either piss off your EU client base or your US client base. Pretty sure the US client base is getting priority (because it's probably bigger). *shrug* Deal.
  14. You dislike the game so much that you took the time to post on the forums. Attention w***e much?
  15. Chicken Little makes an appearance about every 5 minutes on this server, sometimes more frequently - always the same result: THE SKY IS FALLING! THIS GAME SUCKS, AND WILL BE FREE TO PLAY IN FEBRUARY. Obviously, over reaction is part of online gaming.
  16. I agree that there are quite a bit of spells/abilities that seem like they should be together, example: Bounty Hunter Energy Shield (gained at level 18)(1.5m cooldown): A shield surrounds the Bounty Hunter absorbing a percentage of incoming blaster fire (energy damage). Lasts for 30 seconds. Electric Shield (gained at level 28)(1.5m cooldown): A shield surrounds the Bounty Hunter that returns a small electric charge as damage to all attackers. Effect can only occur once every 2 seconds. Lasts 30 seconds. Fixed? Electromagnetic Shield (gained at level 23)(1.5m cooldown): A shield surrounds the Bounty Hunter absorbing a percentage of incoming blaster fire (energy damage) and returns a small electric charge as damage to all attackers. Damage effect can only occur once every 2 seconds. Lasts 30 seconds. With the market so saturated with people spoiled by Blizzard's over-polish on WoW over the last 8 years (not that this is a bad thing, WoW is a really great game - but so is this, and it can be even better), I think an overhaul in the skills and abilities of this game wouldn't be too bad. Considering the lack of UI customization, and the fact that every class at 50 can literally fill all 4 action bars with clickable situational utility -- this wouldn't be a bad thing. For now, keybind like a madman I guess?
  17. Such a lackluster response. Throwing that word around on a forum is like using derogatory slang in real life. If you can't come up with something interesting, why bother taking the time at all? I'm pretty sure that most people that post on this forum love the game, they're just pissed that it's not what they expected and want a change -- because, it would be sad if you hated it and truly unsubscribed, but still took the time to post. I mean, life, get one, y'know?
  18. What's funny is that almost all of them are the end-point and class-defining points (20/30/40/50/60/70/80/85) from the old trees. Really, your choice is the exact same thing with a different UI.
  19. No no, I understand that - who wouldn't want 11 million paying customers focused on rushing through your entire content process just to experience 3 or 4 revolving dungeons over and over again? I get your point, I just see the journey more than the end I guess. WoW beat every game out of the box though, and they didn't add in LFG until the end of Wrath (when they had MORE subscribers than they do now). I don't think you can attribute the success to great encounter design to the ability for people getting to see it via random engagements. I don't hate WoW. I'm not going to lie here, I saw this game and said "HOLY **** I CAN SHOOT LIGHTNING AND HAVE A LIGHTSABER?!?!" and I was sold. I played WoW for almost 7 years, and in that time I grew to really feel invested in my characters - and that was from more than getting server firsts on Kel'Thuzad, Prince, Mag, Gruul, Kael, Illidan, and the entire SWP raid. I'm over that now though - and I guess that might be why we can't agree on this "endgame is everything" part of the argument. Alas, it's just a different frame of mind. Agreed; I do respect your opinion (which is on this forum for sure!) - it's cool though, to each his own.
  20. I really like that description - that's how I usually describe my gaming as well.
  21. The LFG tool is not the reason why WoW is successful. WoW is successful because it was the first MMO brought to the Western World that anyone could pick up and play. The LFG (and now LFR) tool is all about convenience; and though I agree that it helped a lot, it's hardly the game-breaker you're making it out to be. Dual-spec would inherently solve the same problem that you're having with your lack of tanks (and no, I'm not talking about damn AC changes) - and that's in the works. Everyone who read about this game knew it wouldn't be in at launch, and immediately started ************ about it as soon as they got in to Early Access. See, I'm not one of those d-bags who says "WoW didn't launch with blah blah blah" - I'm definitely one who believes that they should have launched in 2011 with what other games in 2011 already had, to be competitive - but it may just be possible that the developers don't know how to implement it correctly, or just don't want to. Either way -- complaining on the forums about the game not being a complete WoW clone isn't going to help. If you want WoW with lightsabers - you can literally mod WoW's core files so that your Orc's sword looks like a damn lightsaber. You might get banned, but you CAN do it.
  22. That. Once it's locked, you'll just have healthbars and names. Click the part of the box that has a button with little people on it.
