  1. Player: We have some random **** from our CXP crates and it's hard to upgrade the gear this way BW: Hey! How about...We'll make a special event and tripple your CXP gain, so..now you can have some random **** more often?
  2. Why, they had been 'expanded on'!.. 2 out of 8 (JK + SI) The 'expansion' is called KotFE + KotET... Smugglers, agents or troopers? Who rolls them anyway. Sarcasm aside - when had you last seen a 'class' mission? Right, it's that tiny fetch-quest on Rishi. No 'classes' exist past Ziost. Wish it had been any different. Also, the 1-50 content is absolutely out of balance. XP rates are insane, and it's impossible to keep within the level range. Crafting while leveling is screwed too - I could equip grade 3 before leaving the Coruscant. It's impossible to sync the process with the story. Some changes in class skills had broken the class story combat designs - e.g. smuggler has a moment with several * droids, and they were supposed to use CC, which had been taken away from them, some spots were supposed to teach us how to use the no longer avaliable covers. Yeah, it does not mean much with overnerfed and outleveled encounters, but that's just how it is.
  3. I've already replied to OP in another thread, but I need to say that 'knowing the class' is 200% irrelevant during this fight. And that's the main issue. Heavy trial&error and\or google are the only way to figure the mechanics and tactics of the fight. Forcing healing and\or ranged classes into solo melee combat was a stupid thing to do. Period. And the person who thought that it's any intuitive to move inside the purple glowing area (with the rule of thumb being 'not stand in ****') has a really strange sense of humor. Not to mention that nothing on the level even remotely indicates that 'healing' zones are supposed to damage her. It's SW. Divine does not damage unholy, you know... And if it does, then why can't I bloody heal this psycho to death?!
  4. I'm a sawbones myself, and I know how you feel. Now you need to relax and read through the pages here. It's been already explained many times... The main thing to understand - you do NOT damage her with your ranged weapons. Well, you might, but it won't be any effective (and your damage is returned to you). Shoot only to get her attention. You should kite her through the green circles - they do HUGE amount of damage. Once she pulls you close - break out of CC and roll away from her. 2-3 'healing' circles should do the trick. And - yes, it's a ******, unballanced and non-intuitive encounter design. Probably wins the 'top-worst' BW fight from the Arishok Duel.
  5. - no more random class empty orange shells. No, it's not 'exciting' to get a lightsaber as a smuggler. We've got tons of cheap cosmetics on GTN + the alliance crates. - no more random rep boosters. Those of us who care about the reps know how to get them. Those who don't - they need them even less - gifts? may be, sometimes. As a bonus to the 'basic' gear reward, not instead of. Top-tier, suited for the current\most recent companion. - decorations? May be, sometimes. As a bonus to the 'basic' gear reward. Now, The Gear. You've trapped yourself with this random-box-system, and you know it. It can't be fixed no matter how hard you try. Basically you need to redesign the entire thing to make it work. - The gear must be guaranteed A seemingly 'perfect' solution to make it 1 item per crate would make it way too fast. Especially since you're about to increase the CXP flow. A week of the 'fractured' farming might end in full T3. I don't think that providing this option is on your list, and it's not my job to give you a solution for your mess. But just accept it as a fact - the player must be 100% aware of when and how they are going to get their upgrades, and that does NOT involve 1d20 luck throws - the gear must not be random.. And that includes the full controll over the gearing process. I need an option to decide which piece is going to be upgraded and how. E.g. yesterday night I was 'rewarded' with a healing relic. I'm yet to see a healer who picks the tiny HOT over the power+mastery. Or. I'm a DPS collecting the tank-gear. I open the box while DPS-specced - I'm screwed, there's no way to revert the loot. Now, the fun part! Guess what kind of system provides both features? Riiiight. The tokens. In case you've missed it - PvP already got their totally-not-warzone-commendations back. And you've even added an extra currency (which is practically useless at the moment). It's up to the team, of course, but the only way I see it working is to remove all the T gear from the boxes and adjust the reasonable rate of 'totally-not-crystals' per CXP level and prices per item. T2&T3 must also be on the list (might need some 'totally-not-another-tier-of-crystals' back too, yknow).
  6. 1 crate per 30 minutes?.. Let's say I'm playing the game (and not speed-grinding Fractured). Let's say that my que time is down to zero (which is normally 5-15 minutes depending on luck and\or timing) I'm not sure such rates can even exist.
  7. You should've used the outfit designer, really. I'm almost sure that you can only trade-in the original gear (possibly augmented).
  8. I see two options here. 1. Nope. She's going to fall as another victim of the 'Choice, that Matters'. They don't have resources to write a solid branching plot, so they'll just sweep her under the carpet. 2. Yes, if the plot demands that. But the 'Choice that Matters' is going to be ignored and 'hardcanoned' one way or the other. See Leliana and Anders - the former one is capable of regrowing a new head, latter becomes the Warden (and remembers the Warden-Commander) even if you never recruit him.
  9. Because their plot-immunity demands so. If you check the current list of companions that are 1. 100% recruited 2. 100% alive It's going to be a very short one. Lana, Theron and T7...am I missing someone? I guess not. Those are going to stick no matter what. Rest of the team won't react (because that would require writing and VA), at best someone might write us an angry letter & become 'unavaliable' (='avaliable via the terminal', which won't make any difference gameplay-wise). I assume they had been considering to make some of the upcoming alerts 'side-sensitive', and that's still a possibility, because adding an extra line to the recording of new content is not much of a trouble.
  10. Actually, 'Trench Runner' veteran is the first challanging thing I've seen in years. I'm a healer, and I had no troubles holding the group on any of the first five, but that was really something. I'm not saying like it's a bad thing, which needs nerf but it was unexpected. Especially considering how little effort it takes to heal most of theoriginal 'master' FPs and pre-5.1 uprisings (in normal and veteran alike). May be it will get better once people study all the tactics - I don't know. Sawbones, augmented 230th with 4 pieces of set.
  11. I think we NEED a clarification on this one. I don't have enough parts for now (and with current rates may be I never will, lol) but I was lucky to get 4 T1 set pieces out of the magic CXP boxes. I've augmented them (obviously). Am I supposed to grind for the entire T1 set from the scratch now?
  12. If you lose a 4v4 match you only get one. The theory being that they take less time I suspect. I lost 2 last night that we lost 2-1. With two matches going into sudden death. Sure felt like it took just as long as an 8v8 Warzone match. And we are supposed to know about that...how exactly? OP has 'golden' numbers which are '2 tokens per warzone\loss'. Patchnotes do not have anything about 'cheaper' WZs. At some point I thought that (may be) it's about the amount of medals. If it's all about time, then shouldn't we get even more for the Voidstar or Huttball?
  13. SPOILERS (OBVIOUSLY, BUT JUST IN CASE) Forced and stupid 'drama' moment. Seasoned mandalorian admiting his weakness and asking for a resque mission when a squishy girl needs saving? Give me a break. They simply needed to remove as much characters from the story-line as possible. Some might not realize it just yet, but EVERY single 'potentially dead' character has zero chances on any story content, any choice between the two actually eliminates BOTH of them. Had anyone ever wondered why didn't we have Aric (for me) around on the Iokath, with final chapter 'sniper' one-liner being his only 'content' following the specific choice? Exactly. The writing team is extremely thin with resources 'as is', and they can't waste them on the 'potentially dead' persons. Mass Effect 3 had taught them a good lesson about 'choices that matter'. Why can't we pass the Throne back to good Arcann and\or Senya? Because they can't make it happen. ONE ending to rule them all, you know. One ending for each and every class, dark or light. Some 'flavourings' are allowed as long as it all comes down to 'Valk is gone, Vaylin's dead, Arcan& Senya are dead OR turned into companion-bots'. Why do you think we had forced Lana or Theron on the leading roles during 80% of the chapters? It's 'Liara's syndrom'. They are immortal and protected with their respective plot-armors. Not to mention that fresh token players need some basic crew (which are ranged, melee, a droid etc), handy to have them as LIs too. If we bother to make the 'list of significant immortals' by the end of the KotET, it's going to be extremly short...
  14. The thing is. Why do we even need so many of them now, when PvP gear had been technically 'cancelled'? Why even bother with the *********** load of extra vendors and currency when their initial intention was (or rather seemed to be) to give people more options of the gameplay?
