I run just about those exact power and crit stats. Not sure how you can say the sustained dps takes a hit. I run 27/0/14 and my highest output has been over 550k with it typically falling in the 300 - 400 range. The auto crit from Energize puts my Shock crits well over 4k. And don't forget about the 9% melee crit bonus in the madness tree that bumps the Thrash crit chance to 32%. Pair that with the 50% crit damage increase on Thrash and I'm hitting for over 2k easily.

In pvp, people want to inflate their numbers; so, the spam nades. If you really want to inflate ur numbers, just go Lethality and dot away.

Agreed. The hybrid spec is too much of an energy hog to be useful in RWZ or against other good pvpers.

Lethality is the most mobile....hands down. After that, I'd go with Eng, but it's close to being on par with MM in regards to the lack of mobility.

IMO, it's fairly simple. If you want to just screw around and have fun, go lethality and dot the crap outta people then crush them with Cull. There's no more enjoyment than seeing a sorc/sage force speed away after a Cull, because u know u scared the S**t out of them. Also, LoS is less of an issue in this spec too. If you want to be more team oriented (once again, IMO), you can run MM or Eng. MM puts out a lot of DPS, some sick burst and the fastest target switching of the three specs (focus fire anyone?). Eng has area denial, puts out it's fair share of DPS too and will destroy the other two sniper specs in a duel (once again, IMO).

You people make it sound like RWZ pop as often as Reg WZ and that we only play Regs to roll ppl. Fact is that there's only certain times in the day that ranked queues pop; so, why would I just sit in a RWZ Q for several hours and not play any? If BW had cross server rated queues, a lot of this might go away, because of a larger RWZ population Edit** And before you start giving me, if all the premades would do ranked, then they'd pop more often. Many times, we only have 7 on or *gasp* we only have one healer on. In your world, we should just run RWZ anyway.

Two things. First, should you have just posted this on your server forum, because honestly, the rest of us don't really care what you guys do. Second, if the biggest concern on the Bastion server is a twink in a lowbie WZ, then you guys should really Q more for RWZ. Just my opinion.

I find myself kiting all the time in lethality spec. We don't have the same defensive CD's as MM and Eng; so, a lot of times you just need to book it outta there.

I say you should keep playing a deception sin.....I like having easy targets to kill in the wz.

I took a look at this. You lose a lot of force power since it's attached to the focus shell and not the armoring. In the end, the trade off didn't appeal to me.

I gotta agree with some previous post. Of all the classes out that that need to be nerfed, OP's should definitely be at the top of the list. They should be made to wear a big sign (even in stealth) that says OVERPOWERED CLASS COMING p.s. if you think OP's are overpowered now, you should've seen those fools wrecking ppl in the beginning.

I love my Sin and I'll always consider it my main, but you missed out on a lot of points in regards to the other classes. When I have more time, I'll add them to my post, but just as a quick example: . Snipers have a ton of additional damage reduction abilities. Shield probe is on a 45 sec CD and it absorbs a ton of damage (30% more in Eng spec and it can be immediately reset via EMP). Anywho, I know deception sins are much more survivable now and can put out numbers, but if we see a deception Sin in our rated match....nuked.

I agree. Juggs should have the ability to hit 5k smashes by lvl 18 at least!!! Jeez bioware do you hate Juggs or something? Please fix it and buff Mara's & Sent's too please.....they're greatly underpowered.

I've tried running this spec before and energy management is difficult. For a PVP build, I just don't think it works. You go up in the Eng tree to get IP, but applying three dots (IP, CD, CG) sucks up a lot of energy and makes switching targets difficult. Just my opinion.

This is why you have to be careful listening to ppl on the forum and just try things for yourself. He's telling us that he runs Dark Charge and then in the next paragraph tells us that he waits for Crushing Darkness to proc. I call BS Raze is the ability in the madness tree that procs CD, but you must have your Lightning Charge's Discharge effect on a target. Let's ask the poster exactly how he gets this effect on a person when he's in the Dark Charge stance? Prior to 1.2 (if remember correctly), anyone could use Raze; so, Darkness Sins were running hybrids to get the instant CD proc. Those were the glory days....150% armor, CD proc and Death Field!!

Agreed. I actually have a macro on my Naga that pops Laze and fires off Snipe. Still smooth and I don't loose any time.....plus I get a guaranteed crit.

You must not have been here for all the "fun" on Ilum. The massive lag zergs and the faction imbalance that ruled the land. Their engine can't handle massive pvp; so, we're probably stuck with 8v8 wz.

That's my thoughts too. There's no way they'll just give us 5 extra points with the trees as is. I have a Sin and I can't even imagine having Wither and Death Field!!. As for the sniper, you could be lethality and get Ballistic Dampers....that's just crazy.

I've used a Naga since the rollout of the game. At first, I tended to over use the Macro feature for my sniper. Now, I only have a couple features macroed. One macro that all Eng Snipers should use is this: Plasma Probe (mine is keybound to 5) Left Mouse Click (no delay between the clicks either) Instead of a 2 step process to drop a probe, you just point your cursor and click the macro.....instant probe!
