If you're attacking tanks it's lame, but otherwise....*** are you talking about? 1st attack: 2.4 sec cast Ambush = 5k Followthrough = 4k 2nd attack: instant Laze Target/Snipe = 3.3k 3rd attack Explosive Probe = 3 - 4k SoS = 4 - 6k (depending on crit) Sniper Volley SoS = 4 - 6k (depending on crit) 4th attack Takedown = 4-5k I can make a vid of this rotation if you like and prove the numbers above, but MM does have a lot of single target burst. Once again, if you attack tanks, the amount of burst drops dramatically. EDIT: yes, I do not open with series of shots, but after the above rotation, my next ambush/followthrough are ready for the next target.

  9. I kindly disagree with your assessment of the 27/1/13 spec. However, I still appreciate the time you put into making the post. I know a lot of new Sins will find it a huge resource.
  10. I switched over to this pve set bonus and will never go back (until they nerf it). the extra 50 force is awesome. Also, since I'm maxed out on gear now, I'm buying the WH offhand and replacing the BM armoring with that armoring. As I said, I'll never switch back.....until they nerf it.

  14. Mara/Sent & PT/Vanguards have an ability that grants immunity to nerfs; so, we need to focus on how best to nerf concealment OPs again........
  15. I've leveled a shadow & a sin as infiltration/deception, but I switched over to Tank spec for both of them. With the 1.4 changes, I tried that spec again, but after one week, i still switched back to Tank spec. As a Sin Tank now, I purposely hunt down deception Sins, because they are still easy to kill. So, IMO, just try running a Sin Tank and you might never go back to the deception tree again. p.s. if you do want to run a dps spec, you should try madness

  17. Well, IMO, for PVP, it's still not as good as a Sin Tank. I leveled both a Shadow & Sin in the Deception/Infiltration trees and I wanted them to work so much, but as most ppl, I switched over to Sin Tank. I was really excited with the 1.4 changes and I had high hopes. I spec into the full deception and played PVP for a week....I'm back to Darkness If my rated team needs a DPS, we'll still take a Mara over Deception Sin.
  18. I've played all three specs in great detail (switch up each week). My personal favorite is lethality, because of the mobility. Personally, MM snipers are an easy target for me, because I can Dot, Dot, LOS, Weaken Blast, LOS, Cull, LOS, Explosive probe, LOS, rifle shot, rifle shot, LOS, Cull, takedown (if needed).....dead MM.
  19. Yes, I understand this: AR - (AR x .2) = new armor rating But my question is this. Does a 20% reduction in armor rating equate to a 5% overall reduction in damage.
  20. Where did you get 5%? Is that a number calculated or did you just make it up? Also, that 20% armor reduction is good for anyone attacking the person; so, if you're focusing firing, it's freaking awesome (great on huttball carriers). all for the low cost of 10 energy and one GCD.
  21. Not exactly sure why you wouldn't use shatter shot. It's cheap to use and reduces the targets armor by 20% for 45 seconds. And the healing reduction is just a cherry on top. As for orbital, mine does 6,300 over 9 seconds to 8 ppl (that's without any crits); so, once again, why not use it?

  23. For me, if shock is off cool down, I use it. If the proc is there, it's just bonus.
  24. Our sorc "bubbler" did over 500K Healing from casting the bubbles on his teammates. why wouldn't you cast them on other ppl? That just means you're not contributing to the team....
