  1. Makes sense to me. I will blame anyone and anything but myself for losing and getting killed.
  2. I am not OK with this. They are so OP. I have 700+ expertise and I get 2 shot by tracer missle. On top of that Grav round takes 8 hits to kill me.
  3. The problem with making list like this is that all opinions are NOT equal. Since you cant really tell which people on the forums know what they are talking about and which people have no idea, its a good idea to just consider everyone in the latter group. The forums are a playground for crying bads. Why do you want to get an idea of what all of them think?
  4. People who script and oversimply PvP are usually really good at it. PvP is all about anticipation and counters. The only valid place to prove your script is unbeatable, is in game while you play. Oh and I think you are wrong. And bad.
  5. People are still going to leave, a deserter debuff will not stop that. So now the people suffering will be the people who willingly leave(they deserve it), the people who unwillingly leave and the people who join late to fill the empty spots. Even if a deserter debuff stopped everyone from willingly leaving, there would still be people who are pissed when they join a losing WZ late. The reason they would still be joining late is because there would still be people dropping. People need to stop blaiming other people for losing, they do it anyway they can. When you get into a WZ just play win or lose farm or be farmed. If you feel like you MUST win a WZ get a premade and expect to carry the rest of your WZ. There are people who blame themselves for winning and losing and then their are people who blame everyone else. Which one do people think they are?
  6. I never leave Warzones even if I am getting farmed. However I crash and DC a decent amount. There game doesnt work well enough to put something like this in right now. A debuff will never cause people to stop leaving. It will burden people that dont deserve it. What they need to do is make it so if you leave a warzone you cant rejoin it. The only thing that really bothers me is when I see the same person leave and rejoin 3 or 4 times.

  8. The reason behind this is the common misconception that melee are bad. These type of threads help promote this attitude. There are certain innate advantages that ranged classes have that make them easier to play in ceratin situations. It is not hard to overcome melee shortcomings, but they arent good unless you are able to.
  9. You SS doesnt really show bad PvP gameplay. It show a massive imbalance in faction population, and a lot of the blame for that can be put on the design team. Some of the blame for huge population imbalances needs to go to the playerbase though.

  11. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBad. I have scored every point in a win and gotten almost no medals and 0 MVP votes. Damage is important in every WZ people that act like it isnt are dumb. Just ask yourself what more important to you winning or getting MVP votes and medals? Seperate from your points I would agree that the MVP system is stupid. Its usually just a vote for my friend or some random person vote.
  12. This issue is a matter of perspective. I never rely on any teamate that I didnt queue with to win a match for me. If I queue solo I play as well as I can and try to do as much carrying as I can. You win some and you lose some. Dont get mad because your teamates keep leaving so they cant carry you. There are some obvious flaws in the system, like when they same person leaves and joins the entire match. Which effectively locks that spot up and makes it so your down a person the whole WZ. Again the best thing for anyone to do is pay no mind to people that are leaving, your job is to keep trying to win and to keep trying to kill the other team.
  13. I think the problem people have when try to assess operatives and scoundrels is that they always consider the class jumping on them from out of stealth. This type of class design is probably just one that people dont like. If it does too much burst upon leaving stealth everyone else will *****. If it doesnt do good enough burst upon leaving stealth people that play the class will *****.
  14. Nothing is really "OP". You will find certain people play their classes very well and they may seem overpowered, but there is always a way to counter or at least beat any class. The only problem is if you are fighting a superior team, that classes team might protect them from being countered. Anyway all classes can do very well when they have 600+ expertise. I cant think of single class where I havent seen someone doing very well with it. Now there might be some easier classes out there that anyone can pick up and do very well with, compared to some other classes that you will need to have more in game knowledge and experience with to do well. If the OP just wants people to rank classes that fine, people love to rank things. Realize that its peoples personal opinions. A lot of their opion will probably depend on what class they play and some of the individuals they play against on a regular basis.

  16. Protection also doesnt take into account the amount of damage tanks sponge up for their team when people choose them as a target, which is part of tanking. There are parts of tanking that arent measured in protection. Protection is far from a harmful stat, so a lot of a non harmful stat is going to be better than less of that stat. The OP is asking for high numbers of this helpful stat. If people cant provide proof of being good at producing this stat, maybe they arent very knowledgeable on the subject.
  17. Thats not 160k. The debate over how much protection is actually needed is a different argument. It takes effort to get that much protection is my point. If you claim its easy lets see all the times you have done it.
  18. Being a tank is all about keeping your teamates alive and, when you can, unbothered by the enemy. Attacking an enemy healer that you think you have no chance of killing just to set them back is stupid. If you are doing it to set them back, that means you are trying to keep them from healing another person so they dont die. That means the other person is the focus target and the tank should have switched to them. There is so much wrong about your second paragraph I just dont want to explain all of the reasons why.

  20. Some people cant get the right information out of scoreboards. Kills are team kills so their team was obviouls outmatched. That doesnt really matter take the tank protection out of the equation and then figure how his teamates would have done compared to him.
  21. Show me something where you got close to that much protection and then say its nothing. If you are playing against a good group they will switch targets if they find a tough one, in which case the tank will need to switch guard and do other things to keep teamates alive. Im not trying to debate if a good DPS or good Tank is worth more to a team, but it just sounds like you have no idea what it actually is to play as a tank. Trivializing protection as "press guard button and taunt occasional" you sound like you have no idea what you are talking about.
  22. This is an old issue. You can be sure smarter people than you have not come up with a good solution to the problem. If you think its an easy fix you are looking at the problem subjectively.
  23. Warhammer never claimed to have mirror classes. Lots of things were balanced between realms, but they were never mirrors. Classes in this game are designed to be mirrors, so they are different in regard to mirrors. You're wrong. Witch elves didnt kill in a single CD, but I digress. You claim that they both have "one stealth class that kills during a single CD". Even if you are right about the classes you are comparing(you arent) this game has 2, Operative and Scoundrel. You're wrong. I dont really know what class you are comparing to BWs, but I dont think this game has BWs(or Sorcs). They both have Instanced PvP with hazards, the only classes that dont have knock backs in this game are the one you just claimed could kill in a single CD. So how are those classes at a disadvantage and why does this point even matter? Warhammers World PvP had some problems at launch, but there is a huge difference between the two games. In Warhammer you had hope it would get better and you felt like if it worked correctly it would be good, I dont get that with this game. The bolster system isnt the same. Bolstering someone 10 levels max is much different than 40 levels. Then when you throw a PvP stat into the mix it makes it even worse. Bolster doesnt work well in this game, there was no problem with it in War. As long as there is CC in a PvP MMO there is someone who is going to have problems with it. They are different games and have different problems. Dont think you are insightful just because you can make an obvious connection to another game that lots of people have already made. On a side note I just want to throw out what was actually some of the worst problems with War around launch. Disorients stacking on instant melee abilities was bad. Something these games have in common was population imbalance.
  24. It doesnt make any sense? How will the zerg find the few people still willing to try, if the game doesnt brodcast their locations real time?
