  1. They fixed his loot table , lol, makes you wonder why they haven't fixed the ability for players to kite that sucker to 2 rooms before the 2nd boss. Which allows you to practically bypass the adds. (Until you kill him then they come to you)

  3. When Diablo 3 hits, I most likely gone. This was a decent distraction, but if you step back and take good look away from the window dressing, aka voice acting. The things you can do in this game is the exact same thing you'd find in WoW or any other MMO. IE do quests, hit max level, then either Run around fleet/Orgrimmar, PVP, OPs (Raids), HM FP's (Heroic Dungeons) and dailies. It doesn't help that Ops content wasn't tested worth a crap and it shows. Add the fact that they have left it bugged to all hell and back for 2 months now......Yea I know its a new MMO, but you know you should fix whats wrong with your current content FIRST before worrying about new content that will prolly be just as buggy and broken as the original was.
  4. To a point. I do agree with the OP though, they are just way too situational to be used over half the time. I honestly keep forgetting I have pommel strike.
  5. Yes they did, and yes it had problems, but you know I would really like to think that programmers do get better as time passes. Either through what they learn in school or through training courses etc.....if their still mystified by the same mistakes that WoW was making back in 2006, then I guess there ain't much hope for them afterall.
  6. You must have been on an underpopulated server or just had some weird luck, because in Wrath, when LFG was added, DPS queues were 10 - 15 mins at the max on my server. They didn't hit that 40 min mark until Blizz made drastic changes to tanks and healers in Cataclysm. A lot of people did not want to adapt to it and just rerolled DPS, thus getting you those massive queues at first. Your right in they did nerf the hell of the content and added the rewards to get tanks to even do LFG. But all this aside.... Dual specs is a good thing to have for the hybrid classes. Or even the guy that likes to do both PVP and PVE. It allows a player to have flexibility in raids rather than doing their main job 1/4 th of the time and doing their secondary gimply. (I'm sure others could come with other examples of player types that want it.) AC respecs are a no though, I do agree that in that regard. What you picked is what you picked and they do give you very adequate description (For Sith Wars and Jedi Knights at least) of what each AC is capable of, so unless you got a reading disorder or just mentally challenged then you know what your getting.

The thing is, I'm almost willing to bet if players could get 50's relatively quickly either by premades, character copy, or even just super high experience rates and start with decent gear for their class, then they might catch these things before they get released. I mean lets face it WoW's ptr most certainly doesnt get all the bugs, but they do a much better job using it than this game does. Yea they still need to hotfix stuff, but the funny thing about that is....they usually hotfix gamebreaking bugs to encounters with a day or 2. But right now EV is always a new experience when you do it every week, because of all the diffferent bugs that you can get.
  9. It kinda happened to us. He spawned the second but it dissappeared before we got off the first platform. However the first stuck around long enough for the 3rd to spawn and we were able to finish it normally from there.
  10. After looking at a spreadsheet linked in another post in PTS forums. Basically if you are 80+ surge expect to lose about 7 - 10% +. If you are less than that then the loss will be less severe.   11. Thats a little much. Besides leveling in this game is relatively fast. If you already have an idea of what your doing you can hit 50 in at least 2 -3 weeks. Probably even quicker than that if you were so inclined.
  12. Oh I see so your not against somebody changing their spec on a whim as long as it has a high cost/time for that one player. So really your argument against it is what then? RP reasons? Your already OK with respec to another role, why not just give them player a high cost ability to swap with say 10 min CD involved? And by high cost, we'll say 500k credits to buy that ability? I don't know about others but as a tank/dpser I would love that and would be happy to pay that much credits for that. Hell at this point I'd pay close to 1 million for it. You can't argue about balance if your ok with respecs. So why not just cut the middle man out?
  13. How about in raids that can switch from requiring 1 tank for most of the instance but certain encounters being made easier with 2 tanks? But for the rest of the instance that other tank either sits or pays to respec back and forth. Enrage timers aren't friendly in some encounters to allow you to have that one person doing gimp dps, especially when you first start learning the encounter.

  15. You do realize that in a lot of cases you get crit with Surge Rating on gear a lot of the times? I have 30% not counting the IA buff, and thats been getting plenty of crits as is. You also need to factor certain talents and/specs giving passive or proc crit buffs too. Rage spec Juggs for example get an extra 15% to Vicious Strike and of course the infamous 100% guarenteed crit smash.
  16. Oh i wasn't arguing that at all, I agree as it is right now its definately one of the more powerful stats to take. My dps set for my Jugg, Im sitting at 88% base critical multiplier, and Im reasonably sure with another set of mods from a Columi headpiece I could hit 90%. Not counting Surge Adrenal with that I can hit about 97% so yea I can actually understand why they are bringing it back down.
  17. If the fight is working normally then when you see the swarm of Ackleys then you just took too long. However 2 nights ago we did the Pylon boss on 8 man normal. And literrally on the 2nd button click the south side got the swarm of Ackleys. So if that's what happened to you then it bugged out on you.
  18. I know they said something about there being a problem doing premades, but why in the hell dont they just up the experience rates tremendously? And give the player the columi stuff from the get go? Surely that could be done? And yes in some ways I really do feel Bioware has unknowingly solved the repetiveness of doing a raid you can clear. My god its a new experience every week, and I don't mean in a good way.
  19. I came from there after 7 years of it. I have gone back just to talk to some friends but not to play. Whats the point the end game of WoW is the same thing as the endgame here. PVP, Raids, or HM/Heroic Dungeons. Now when Diablo 3 drops......Im outta here. Playing that on the beta, and it's nice.....
  20. Different bugs may take different amounts of time to fix, this one may just have been that easy to get a fix in for is prolly why its that small. But really the next major patch, they need OVERHAUL eternity vault..... I have seen buggy instances in my day via Warcraft. Lemme tell you about the boss in Firelands that would randomly go friendly to you sometime > But I mean after the week I've had with EV.....I dunno.....it was practically unplayable, literally. Wouldn't let half my raid zone in, trash mobs were for some reason locked into a harder difficulty than they should have. (We tested this with 2 8 man groups) One groups trash had only 30k health and went down quick, the other groups trash had 150k health and would respawn almost instantly. Both groups were set to 8 man normal.....Pylon boss bugged out....one side got the elite adds at the very start and got swamped by them before the first line of the puzzle was solved, and don't even get me started on Soa..... /rant over However I'm going to remain patient for now. Bugs do happen like mad in games like this, and I've been through it before.
  21. I do agree that I wish fly text worked like Miks, also its aggravating as hell fighting a mob larger than you as melee and not seeing anything at all unless you zoom you camera way out. And sometimes this isnt possible depending on where the mob is positioned.

  23. Suggestion: When tanking classes are in their tank stance or just as an option in the preferences menu make the fly text show hit by hit, in blue text what the threat of that ability was. For example as Jugg when I do the ability Backhand it would show XXXX threat in blue text when the ability goes off rather than the damage, unless the player wants to see both. There are 2 reason i feel this way. 1. As a tank our damage is frankly unimpressive. Granted it should not ever be as high as a dps class, but our threat numbers more than likely should equal what a DPS specced class would put out for the most part.....or at least be somewhat close. So think of it as more of aesthetic thing. 2. Practicality. It would allow tanks to have a better sense of what their threat actually is. There is no reason in the world why this should be hidden especially when keeping a mob focusing on us is part of our job description. All the other aspects of our job isn't hidden from us meaning the damage we take and how much it's mitigated so I see no reason why the other aspect of our job is hidden. Please Sign if you agree. Again Im not asking for a threat meter, just threat numbers via flytext.
