  1. Its funny but just about every SINGLE game I have ever played both console and PC most always had points where the game started challenging the gamer. Either to just beat the game or to aquire power ups and special rewards. And in those cases those same games make the gamer jump through some major hoops depending on the reward. Why should raiding be ANY different. I get that we don't want the Uber impossible **** for every boss, but come on there has to be a point in the gameplay where the gamer DOES get challenged and proves that he can handle what the game throws at him. The fights aren't that hard on story mode and pretty predictable even yes the first boss. Take a look at your raid and figure out who is doing what wrong and fix it. Nine times out of ten if the people griping about raid difficulty just did this, they would find themselves succeeding alot more.
  2. I wont lie after seeing how they've handled the last patches with the game that were much smaller than this one, and how those same patches claim to have fixed something only to either not fix it or break it further, I have to admit I almost expect when 1.2 hits that a meltdown will occur....ok that was bad Hyperbole, but still I expect problems and lots of them when it comes out, which makes me almost scared to see whats going to happen that day...
  3. Well really sit down and think about just how many skills are in the game atm. There are some skills that are fair for both worlds as they are, but there are quite a few more that aren't. Now just think about that you'd have to code each and every skill in the game to behave differently from anywhere from varying damage, to the skill maybe not lasting as long or being as effective, and also having to factor in varying diminishing returns on effects etc.... That's that a lot of stuff to get working 2 different ways....and function properly without some kind of bug going in there...I imagine the same reason Blizzard decided not to bother is the same reason SWTOR didn't bother, from a coding perspective that would be a nightmare to get working properly for all of the classes and their specs.....because that system might also have to apply for certain talents too...
  4. Um......unless your speaking of Nightmare mode, the droid doesn't do any kind of debuff that requires 2 tanks on Normal or Hard. Sure your not thinking of the 4th boss of KP?
  5. Yea the force Camo thing is a nerf to annihilation but its a buff to 3 other 2 specs which balances that out. I mean they do want Marauders to want to use the other 2 specs too.
  6. Honestly it does seem kinda meh for its price tag. Not to mention I can't really recall a game where a cross faction AH did anywhere near the business as the same faction AH.
  7. Slave trader/owner - enslaves npcs and makes them follow your orders. For example if you wanted to distract and opponent in battle send your femal Twi'lek in and let her do her thing.
  8. Well you have to look at it from a developer stand point. Its a very easy way to give a new expansion a lot of fresh content to keep players logging in. Yea it eventually runs out, and then the gear grind comes in. But really think about it, how much content did you do via Heroic quests, side quests, and story quests to advance your character VS. whatever the current end game content to advance your character is at the time.
  9. Actually I give Blizzard more credit there, considering they were paying attention to the people doing the fight and fixing it as it was happening rather than just letting it fly like Bioware has for 4 months.
  10. Ill give you props OP rather than just complain for complaining sake about the problem your trying to do something about it. Wish more people in the world had your line of thinking. /salute
  11. Think what your looking for OP is Diablo 3. You can solo that from start to finish.
  12. Fraid your just unlucky OP. The first week I started raiding on my Jugg, i had most of my Columi set and quickly filled in the rest of it the next week. Week after I had another set for my DPS spec. RNG sucks:eek:
  13. I think some of the issues with targetting might have to do with hit boxes overwriting other hitboxes. A good example is Bonethrasher and when hes near an add. I have clicked and a tabbed like a maddog at times and still can't get it to target that add unless he moves away. Another one is if the enviroment overlays the targetting circle, again this seems to keep you from clicking the target, it does seem to let you tab though so, meh I dunno.
  14. Wall of text crits for over 9000.....seriously man, break that thing up and make it legible, then maybe somebody might read it and give you a serious response.
  15. Its playstyle really, there are people that can sit and play several different games at once and be fine with it. I'll flat out tell you unless its a console game, I won't bother trying to play 2 long term games like SWTOR, WOW, or even D3 at the same pace. I can't stand having my focus broke up like that, not to mention in some cases for example if they using 2 completely different playstyles (For example Tera and SWTOR) when you switch back and forth it can be disorienting at first for some.
  16. I didn't say KILLER, I just said I think SWTOR will take a hit, if you don't think it will happen then you haven't been playing MMO's for very long.
  17. Actually May 15 is the day I actually see SWTOR taking a hit. *note not going to say catastrophic* Diablo 3 is coming out on that day and I know quite a few people ingame/RL along with myself that are looking forward to it heavily.
  18. Best trick I found is basically clicking the MGGS button again right as the grappler hits the grapple point. It causes you to restart the grappling animatation and get caught on the area you are trying to land on. But yea I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed yet.
  19. It folds out from one of the walls in the master bedroom.........I could see a few awkward moments happening from this.
  20. Well I kinda imagine thats what the story mode raid will be for. The gear you get out of that will help you in Hard Mode and so on. And considering how pretty easy the normal/story mode raids are atm, even if you were to go in with orange gear, as long as you do the encounter correctly and play your class as optimally as you can, I wouldn't see it being a problem. (A full raid likewise geared prolly should go back and hit EV/KP as well as some FP's to fill some holes)
  21. Thats kinda the point I was making. It hasn't bugged with us with our method either, and the only times it really has bugged was something you can check before the encounter starts, meaning the one click bug, and like I said that has nothing to do with you doing the encounter but what is set beforehand. If what works for you works, then by all means keep using it, but don't assume yours is the correct and only surefire way it works. Different things are obviously working for different groups. Edit: Just read the post under the quote, it seems were doing the same thing you are, you just worded it in a different way than I was thinking.
  22. Sorry but no, what your saying is no different than anything else I've heard on these boards (solve all south first, NSSN, etc etc) Doesn't mean I don't use one of the methods, we always let South side solve first on all 4 and the only time I've seen it fail was when the one click bug reared its head, and that has absolutely nothing to do with the order you solve the sides. Point is the encounter may lock up like that based on several factors, IE screw up in the code when X class interacts with the button, or it may be even basing on the raid leader it self.....I mean really who knows. If your method works for you keep doing it, but honestly thats just whats working for you, doesn't mean it will work for others.
  23. I looked at the naga but considering my hands swallow that small *** thing, I can see fat finger central in using it, but hey if it works for ya, more power to ya.
