  1. It depends on class I think. As an assassin tank, I have several abilities that are melee abilities and I believe rely on the normal attack accuracy (the base 90% one). 1. Saber Strike (basic attack, no force, use when low on force occassionally) 2. Thrash (my main single target spammable damage, my most used ability) 3. Assassinate (used when target is <30% hp, better dps than Thrash but 6sec cooldown) 4. Lacerate (spammable AE damage that hits all targets in range) 2, 3, and 4 all have a chance to proc Energize and make my next Shock crit. This ONLY happens though if i actually hit the target. IMO this makes a solid case for getting your accuracy to 100% for assassin tanks.
  2. I've figured out the same type of mod moving as other people (farmed Columi headpieces from Kaon and swapped mods into my other pieces). I plan to do this for my Rakata pieces as well, but I had a reservation. Everyone is hating on accuracy (talking PvE only here). Anything above 100% seems useless for PvE on level 50 mobs and below (aka everything right now). Should I still be trying to have enough accuracy to reach 100% though? TLDR: Is accuracy rating when you are below 100% accuracy just as useful as defense/shield/absorb rating for tanks? Note: I have about 850 rating combined between the 3 defensive stats, and my accuracy is currently about 96-97%
  3. I always assumed that the Expulsor Droid was bugged...it made Kaon the only instance dropping 2 Columi tokens on hard mode. Anyone know what he drops now on Hard Mode? I would assume it's not as good as Columi Head pieces

  5. Guy on my server was asking 500k for an inquisitor bracer a few days ago (on The Fatman). I didn't buy it, seemed too much to me but clearly the demand is there (this is the only one I've seen in quite awhile).
  6. Right now I'm using the +41 yellow endurance crystal from the Kaon 2nd boss weapon. I should note that I previously had the +41 power and +41 crit until I finally got the endurance one to drop. I prefer the highest stats possible, but if you can pick I'd go with endurance for tanking.
  7. From the same post: "Caps are rating caps, meaning they exist independently of skill buffs." Not to mention, the post even talks about stacking like 700 shield rating by itself. I'm not aware of any hard caps in the game that are really attainable, only soft caps (diminishing returns).
  8. People want variety? They also added orange, purple, magenta, etc. They even have sabers with black "centers" of the blade instead of white.
  9. I REALLY hope this is simply a troll. You are asking that DPS roles be easy mode compared to the other 2? That seems ludicrous to me.
  10. <<OP Having alternate gear is a great idea! I was only saying Rakata because that's the next tier of gear but I would love to see new stuff as well. I agree that enrage timers are a tired mechanic, would love to see stuff like adds, new abilities, etc. that require us to learn the nightmare mode of the flashpoint all over. As for the 8 person argument: I wasn't saying that I can't get 8 people, in fact we do 8 man ops each week. I was just saying that I'd like to have something to do when I'm online and there aren't 7 other people ready to go (with an unlocked op).
  11. HM Flashpoints are easy mode still. I've never run the level 50 instances on normal mode, and HM has only given us minimal difficulty, with the only times we fail to complete instance being due to bugs. Give us Nightmare mode Flashpoints please! I would love a way to still progress without needing 8 people and something that I can do more often than once a week. Even if we were able to get Rakata gear, if the difficulty was high enough and the drops were contained (like still only drops one piece per run) then I don't feel like this would be a huge upset to the game. Anyone else bored of HM Flashpoints? I honestly like them a lot more than Ops but the difficulty isn't there. Edit: Actually a one week lockout wouldn't be bad, but we would still have many (7 at the moment) different flashpoints to clear each week. Thoughts?
  12. Boss defenses removed? Don't we still have a 90% base chance on normal attacks (white damage) to hit? I was under the impression that our melee attacks (Thrash, Assassinate, Lacerate, Saber Strike) had this base 90% chance + a bonus from Accuracy rating. Is this incorrect?
  13. Simple solution: All mail with items have the BOX icon lit up. All mail with credits has the green credit symbol lit up. You can quickly scan all your mail to find out which ones have things that are useful.
  14. If it has your class' primary attribute, your roll should get +100 IMO. This way, if no one in the group has that stat people can still need, but whoever it is geared towards will always win the roll.
  15. Revan becomes invincible and vanishes in a flash of light. You notice you never see a corpse...
