  1. Well, your definition makes no sense, but since I tend to spend more time in premade pvp than anything else, I'm going to answer. Yes.
  2. Sorry, forgot to check this thread sooner. Energy damage is equivalent to kinetic damage, which is mitigated by armor. Lightning is energy damage. Elemental damage is equivalent to internal damage, which is not mitigated by anything other than specific cooldowns and talents and the inq/cons group buff. Lightning is not elemental damage. If you read the mouseover tooltips for the armor statistic in game, you'll be able to verify this.
  3. You first need to understand that all that lightning is energy damage, not elemental. Then... armor is the best defensive stat.
  4. So what you're saying is, you object to the fact that people are learning how to use their utility skills in an effective manner in Huttball, and therefore Huttball is broken? K. (umadubad)
  5. Yeah, the answer here is that they didn't give a damn about your gear level, it just happened to be a good excuse to say "no". 300 hp isn't that big a gear difference. They probably wanted a ranged dps, or a guildie just said "I'll come", or you have a reputation as a jerk.
  6. Is this thread for real? I'm the world's worst farmer, I hate dailies & such, I play a Guardian tank so my repair bills are for heavy armor and they are a tank's bills, meaning high... and I still have 2 million creds. If you can't afford 55k for repairs, you're doing something really dumb somewhere somehow.
  7. Couple of things that could create this situation... one, US servers have more undergeared scrubs for premades to beat up; two, US servers tend to get more warzones without tanks or where the tanks fail to taunt/reduce damage; three, the difference between serious and casual PvP players is more marked in US servers than EU. Doesn't have anything to do with the actual game being different.
  8. Oh. So what you're saying is that you are bad at PvP and tunnel vision on health bars instead of using cc and pitching in whatever burst you can when critical enemy targets are low. K.
  9. Probably a more accurate thought than you realized. Like zerglings, any number of marauders will explode and die if charging at a group of ranged, unless they use their personal dark swarm 95% DR cooldown. Similarly, the effectiveness of marauder swarms is dependent on whether they have an ultralisk tank with them to draw fire/cc, as well as whether or not the enemy is stupid enough to waste their effort on the tank instead of shutting down the actual damage-dealers. Alternate strategies to gain a profitable trade utilizing marauder swarms involve using the marauders to scare the target and soak damage while the lurkers get into position to spam lightning and missiles with maximum efficiency.
  10. I love when people do this to me. I will "fall for it" every time, then when they come out of stealth to plant, guardian leap/force leap back on them, and now that they're conveniently out of stealth and their support has pulled back to bait me, they go down in about four gcds. Actually the version of this that annoys me is when I and someone else are defending a turret. One person will show up, I'll be beating on them, I'll force push/leap to finsh them off, and turn around to realize that my "partner" came out away from the turret completely unnecessarily, and we're now going to lose the turret to the stealth. Happens so often with healers... drives me nuts, because I like when people heal me, but I really dislike when they sacrifice position to do it.
  11. Hey, you asked what I would do. I told you what I would do. The fact that you play a boring OP class is not my issue.
  12. Target them and spam Guardian Leap, hoping that the enemy lets up on their cc chain long enough for it to trigger. True story: it's safer than trying to pass when I'm surrounded by enemies.
  13. Deal. Don't forget to make it melee, easy to miss because of knockback/movement, require manipulation of five cooldowns, and the product of a resource system that requires preliminary buildup. We'll meet back here to see these droves of crybabies you so confidently predict.
  14. If you don't like how it plays, you probably don't want to play it.
  15. Yeah... you're wrong. I use my mouse and QWE to move. Every other skill, consumable, stance, and everything else that I've got is on a key, right down to equipping different pieces of gear for different roles. I don't always use the keys, sometimes I'm lazy and use my mouse... but everything I have is keybound.
  16. Show me where a warrior can instagib someone, because that's ********. Yes, we have one ability that has high burst damage. It's on a cooldown... if a healer can't heal that three or four thousand damage back in 9 seconds, they're bad. If you're struggling because you're sitting around at low hp and a warrior jumps on you with four stacks prepared and gibs you, grats... you would have died to the first stealth, sniper, tracer spammer, etc. to come along. Warriors are hardly the only burst in the game. And yes, one ability is that good... it's kind of like tracer missile/grav round, where the entire tree is built around that ability. They're not going to change the big hit mechanic, because that literally is what the tree runs on, and it's not unreasonable to expect you to be able to handle a single big hit every ten or so seconds in PvP.
  17. Tell you what. You go roll a warrior, get some champ gear together, make a vid, then come back and show us all how OP it is. For right now, however, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
  18. Confirmed here as well... I told my team to go mid last night while I got left, and they were all mad at me for taking so long to cap when the score was 585 to 590, even though I actually capped faster than the Imps.
  19. What this man said, except that I'd add possibly the best warzone in any game...
  20. I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear enough the first time. IF as you say, he popped up to 50% hp, then healed up to 100% with four dps attacking him, there was a healer. I don't care if you saw one, there is no possible combination of skills or items in the game, for any JK, that would account for this other than a healer. The initial hp bump makes sense if he hit Enure and a wz medpack or Rakata medpack. But if his hp went up to full after that, he had a healer, I absolutely promise. And finetop, indestructible isn't the question... it's a question of whether his health bar filled up. If you play Guardian you know that the total of our self-heals is a medpack, a talent that heals us when we use our cc break, and a gear bonus that heals us when we Guardian Leap. Enure temporarily boosts our hp and provides us with that much temporary hp. Guardians don't have any other self-healing. So if this guy's health bar was going up as described, he had a healer.
  21. Because I'm having fun, and still have six class stories to see.
  22. You, sir, are a liar. There is no possible way that you can do this with a 43 Guardian, because 43 Guardians do not have Guardian Leap... it's a level 50 skill.
  23. ... Stealthing is lame, that's why real world sports don't allow it... ... rofl
  24. Thirded. It's very well set up to ensure that every type of player - damage, utility, healing, tank, stealth, mobility, anything you like - can have a major impact on the match.
  25. Do you interrupt? I don't remember this particular fight, but interrupting is huge for every major JK fight past about level 25. And please ignore the guy complaining about his repair costs and saying that he has to outlevel his class story by 5 levels... that's incredibly lazy and boring.
