  1. The diminishing return is put in place to prevent over stacking of 1 stat such as crit or surge. The biggest problem with it imo is the tool tip never gives you your stat with the actual number where diminishing returns start, which would be nice. Sure you can ask around and get what someone thinks is correct but as it changes that info isn't always correct.
  2. Sorry but stop blaming gear as the issue! As I have said before I solo queue all the time and I often get put on teams with mostly fresh 50's and sometimes we do well and sometimes not so well. We do the best when people aren't set on deathmatch type play and worrying about objectives instead. What you really fail to realize is most of the people in the better gear have been doing WZ's together for quite some time now and have learned to work together in a way that even a full pug can crush and look like a pre-made. I mean if you are on a full pug and healers aren't healing anyone but themself then well it isn't going to go well. If you are getting focused by 3 people or more don't expect that the better gear is going to help much unless you have team support. It boils down to more than gear. Gear does help but not as much as people are making it sound. 10-49 is really bad as far as actual team work goes. I see more deathmatch happening than objectives and it carries over. Trust me once you start falling into the same pugs and get used to how they do things gear won't even be an issue.
  3. The lag switchers, speed hackers, GCD hackers, exploiters, and any other thing you can think of is already wide spread. You might not see it as much as others but it is there more than you realize.

It really don't matter what you try to contribute as a level 10 really because you are always going to have some level 49 in your face and most likely the same one thoughout a match that every time you spawn will immediately be there. As soon as you are gone they will move to the next lowest level that they can easily stomp, rinse and repeat. Maybe this is just my experience but it seems real common. Alot can depend on your class as well but the best thing I have found is for the brief seconds you are left alone throw a bit of damage in and hope for the best. 10-49 to me just seems like death match as opposed to objectives anyway but maybe that has to do with playing in the 50 bracket where people want to win more than farm medals.
  5. If you capped the end first all they have to do to win is cap the end in the time they get because the faster you cap the end on the first team the less time the second team starts out with. You start with 6 minutes if you reach the end in 4 that means the second team starts with a 4 minute timer not the same 6 minute timer as the first team.

    The notes did indicate they fixed the problem where players could force this situation to occur but under certain circumstances it would be possible it would still occur. It is also quite possible that it wasn't fixed at all but only those that were using the exploit before would be the ones interested in actually seeing if it can still be forced.

    Scoreboard images aren't a good way to prove more than 8 per side because it counts people that started a WZ and left for whatever reason instead of completely removing them from everything.
  8. Unfortunately nobody gets banned for using exploits or at least anyone I have reported.
  9. EQ2 went f2p and that is why I'm here (not the only reason though). Micro transactions in the end become more expensive and take away from actual development of in game items because it all turns generic unless you want to pay real money for the coolest new thing. On EQ2 all of the best looking gear, mounts, and housing items are purchased through their cash shop, you can buy master spells with real cash (p2w), and soon to be expected actual gear. Not a fan myself and if and when this heads that way I'm out!

    Dear tanks,

    When in huttball usually put it on the ball carrier and run with them often times slightly ahead or sometimes slightly behind, sometimes I put it on the healer that is running with the carrier though, depends on who is taking fire. Other 2 zones I put it mainly on the person that has those little green numbers healing me and if they aren't around I look for whomever is taking alot of damage.

    Fixing Resolve

    As stated by a previous post cc breaker should give you a short immunity of lets say 15 seconds, reduce the reuse to no more than 30 seconds, or make it so resolve covers all cc's, slows, and kb. I have still seen resolve not work even though people say it is working fine. Full resolve bar and still getting stunned. And before you say maybe you are getting rooted, not the case, with root you can still pass with stun you can't, so I know the difference.

    WZ Stalkers

    Unfortunately that 1 stalker will usually wait until your about to die to always be in your face or when you have them just about beaten disappear and run away. I play a powertech tank and usually am more concerned with guarding the ball carrier or pulling someone off a structure so they can't be passed to and it really gets to some people and then I end up with that stalker, usually I just ignore them and go about my business. If they want to waste 3 minutes following me around then it's 3 minutes that they aren't on someone else. The best is when you constantly lead them into a bunch of you team to crush them and they re-spawn just to do it again. Sometimes it looks like I'm that stalker but it usually is due to you are the threat atm.
  13. To those that think it isn't happening on their sever, trust me it is! It might not be in the open but as I found out yesterday just running around and happened to make my way up into an empty tower (or I thought it was) there was 2 groups kill trading in the tower. Pretty pathetic if you ask me and I would never participate but it probably won't stop either. Guess I'm the foolish one for not taking the easy way to earn valor but at least I can say I earned it the hard way and didn't take the easy way.

  15. I have been on teams with a good amount of new 50's that have crushed against well geared teams just by working as a team. I have also been on those same team situations where we get crushed and it has nothing to do with gear, mostly the lack of teamwork. And it don't matter the WZ, if you aren't working as a:p team you just aren't going to win no matter what gear you have.
  16. The only problem I see with the vote kick is going to be low levels getting voted out, unless there is a way to prevent that. Some games have an afk vote to kick but it is stopped as long as the player does damage within a timer, they are also notified that they have been voted out due to inactivity when the timer starts. Just looks to me this will be abused if not implemented properly.
  17. As an FYI you can't use the scoreboard to determine if the other side used the exploit or not, it counts even those that left mid match instead of removing them once they leave. Joined a losing match one day that was surely being exploited 12 to 8 (actual head and name count) the team I was on had 8 but the scoreboard showed 14 imps at the end from those that left mid match.
  18. Don't bother doing any of this, reported 3 people using the revive exploit on ilum the other day and what a waste of time. Nothing was done and the same 3 where using the same exploit again today.

As for your inventory clutter issuer considering you can only have 1 of these bags pre 50 it shouldn't be an issue, but if you save your tokens I believe once you hit 50 you can buy 5 more giving a total of 6. As for the request to open before 50 I say no way. How about you go through the same process (which has been already made much easier) to get your gear as those before you.
  20. The reason to do pvp is the same to do any other content and that is for some type of reward and that reward happens to be gear. Fluff rewards are boring and titles well are boring as well. What makes the ideas of handicapping people who have put in alot more time a good idea? The constant I should be equal even though I haven't put in as much as someone else gets old . Believe me it really is a drag to be the underdog but you also have to realize that those same people that will participate do to things being equal will also then be the ones that will be handicapped and in the end will stop participating because there is no reason to just to be handicapped.
  21. Oh this again, lol! Well as a level 10 when I enter a wz then I want all of my skills that I would have at 49 to be part of the buff and I also want the same # of skill points equal to a 49 and I want gear that is as good as well! They already took the rng dependency out of champion gear and added tokens, they added more centurion tokens, and that isn't good enough? Boo hoo I want my gear now, geez lets be real here!
  22. When they remove level 10's from wz's they can give new 50 their own bracket as well! There is nobody you can kill, your damage is insignificant, and you don't understand the objectives. Been grouped with a bunch of fresh 50's lately and they very rarely defend a turret on alderan, can't defend a door in voidstar, don't go to the opposing teams ball carrier and try to get it back, and finally don't try and position to score. Most are too busy playing death match in a corner someplace getting their face stomped, reviving and going right back to the person that face stomped them, over and over. Besides if you get rid of the level 10's some of you 49's would have nobody to kill. It's funny when I'm on my lower level characters that it takes the same five 40 plus people to take me down as soon as I spawn.

Claiming to fix inconsequential things 10 Actually fixing inconsequential things 3 Fixing consequential things like exploits (mainly pvp) 0 Fixing broken story missions 0 (my BH end story is still broken). The frequency of patches is ok, if they worked! I think their priority of adding new content over actually fixing what is broken first is astounding.
  24. Hmm apparently some healers have figured out how to get medals because usually a healing sorcerer in the pvp matches I'm in gets the most, usually around 10+
