I cant complain about the casuals getting a bone but WOW gave up the whole darn cow. Oh and on the store that supposedly took the game off the shelves. Prob in the bible belt and prob over the same sex relations they are talking of putting in. That is causing quite a stir, always amusing. and I meant retract, not redact, ironic mistake.

You do not know a major store that took the game off it's shelves and even it that did happen it likely has nothing to do with the content of the game. If you want to PM me the store I will call them and if confirmed I will redact and eat this statement.

I agree with you but, I am not going to panic over it just yet. The game needs a better LFG tool. Duel spec is ok but not really needed. I just hope they dont take the pandering too far because that really was what ruined WOW for me, that and other people.

I think you make an interesting point. its good multiplayer but is struggling with the massive multiplayer.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said but... There are separate teams working on fixes and patches and new content and pvp so on and so on. It is a very large team and too many people working on the same thing can be as damaging as too few working on the same thing. So new content coming out does not mean that bug fixes are being neglected.

Ok, maybe I'm dumb and missing something but one thing I have found VERY frustrating is that when you ctrl+right click to preview the appearance of an item, it doesn't work for weapons. I buy orange weapons just hoping they look cool and sometimes they don't. I haven't seen or heard anything about this though so is there a setting some ware I don't know about? Or is this just a minor thing that will hopefully get fixed?

Everyone here (except that guy from Ugonda with a floppy drive) has had pretty solid opinions. I'm not too surprised but I am a bit impressed with the thoroughness of what some of you said. Thank you all for contributing, it was interesting to hear all your opinions.

The game could have been delayed and that may have helped but, I'll deal with some problems before waiting another six months to play it.

Pay players to test their patches? Who's delusional? Do you have any idea the complexity of the code that goes into even minor patches? As for the down time. In my time zone it's 2 to 8am. That sounds about right to me. Maybe you shouldn't live in Ugonda. End game is Supposed to be a grind. Again who's delusional? The loot system could use a little tweaking but it is no ware near as bad as your making it out. I haven't had a problem with the FPS on the loading screen and that makes no sense that anyone would. I think the zone is taking a while to load for you, and you should upgrade your comp. I assure you you no longer need a floppy drive. How many questions were in that Q&A and how many were answered? Do you have any idea how busy this team has to be, they dont have time to console all those who want to QQ over issues that barely matter and will be gotten too.

I have been playing on Kath Hound Republic side and aside from the occasional player acting like he/she is the only one around I havent had any serious problems. I just joined a guild called "Phoenix Rising" and so far that guild has been great too. There tends to be more immaturity found on PVP servers and less found on RP, with PVE usually being an average balance. The problem is that the average has changed. I have been playing MMOs since NWN and it wasnt until WOW came along with its accessibility that these "people" have forced their way into and ***** my culture. Since when did people like me become "old school"?

Oh and I almost forgot. People like that almost always have a tiny tiny *****.

People are jerks because they started on WOW. Learned on WOW. and brought that behavior here with them. I let these "people" have their PVP servers and I stay on my RP server ware all the EQ vets are aware of MMO etiquette and practice it. I no longer play WOW for the same reason I will never again own an XBox, the demographic those two things attract (mostly) or douche bags.

We all felt the squishyness of the nerf bat the minute we discovered what those classes could do. It was a little heavy handed but I for one expected that. I do agree that their maintenance schedule needs to level out, and that it will with a little time. I give them a 10 because this is their first MMO, if this was a company like sony or cryptic (*cough* the game would suck *cough*) I would agree with an 8 or even 7. Extra credit for first time Win.
